How do you put more hours on a DVD-R when burning onto it?
I have a pack of blank DVD-R that say they can hold 120mins, but I heard it was possible to put much more onto it.

120 mins is the capacity of a DVD-R when it is used in Standard Play format. By changing the recording mode to a different format, you can alter the amount of TV that you can fit onto it. How you switch the mode is dependent upon your DVD recorder, but you should be able to find the appropriate guidance in your manual. Available modes might vary, but for quality reasons I don't stretch the disc any further than Long Play. Long Play will give you 240 mins (4 hours) of recording time on the same disc I believe.
