Rumours have been circulating on twitter that stars of Emmerdale Matthew Wolfenden who plays David Metcalfe and Charley Webb who plays Debbie Dingle have split after 7 years together. Do you think there's any truth in this?
Rumours started flying around Emmerdale fan sites from earlier this week questioning whether the couple are still together. Some facts or theories from Emmerdale fans suggest they have as the couple have been apart a lot recently and they picked up on a few things:
Matthew went on holiday on his own to Spain without Charley earlier this month.
He was seen tweeting a friend about moving in with his brother.
He changed his twitter icon from a family picture of him and Charley to one of him and their son.
People have seen some of his tweets and think he is in directing Charley in some way.
Charley hasn't been seen at his charity fundraising for a few months.
They both no longer wear their engagement rings.
Charley has been spending a lot more time with her friends with no mention of Matthew.
They never tweet each other anymore.
Charley always tweets about being with her family and their son but again, no mention of Matthew.
They haven't been seen at events or out together for some time and the last awards show they attended was the BSA and sources who attended said Charley looked somewhat uncomfortable and upset.
Just some things people noticed and put on twitter as Emmerdale some fans have been tweeting asking both Charley and Matthew with no reply. We should respect their privacy if something has happened as they wouldn't exactly publicise their break up but I thought they were a lovely couple and feel most sorry for their 3 year old son.
