Over on Hollyoaks, Ste Hay's emotional new storyline begins as he is reunited with his mother Pauline.

When Ste (Kieron Richardson) and his flatmate Sinead O'Connor consider leaving the village to escape all their recent dramas, Ste realises that he can't move on without seeing his mum one last time.

With Pauline suffering from cancer, Ste is shocked when he goes to visit her and sees how fragile she looks.

Discovering how much his mum is suffering, Ste helps her move out of his childhood home and into the council flat. However, Ste is later furious when he finds out that Pauline has various cards and letters from his dad, who he'd always thought wanted nothing to do with him.

In the end, Ste and Pauline finally reach an understanding and share a tender moment at the flat. He promises to help fulfil her final wishes, but is shellshocked when she asks him to help her die.

Ste's ex-partner Doug Carter later suggests that he should consider Pauline's request, but can he really agree to this?

Hollyoaks' Phoebe McQueen will face a testing time next week after she is roped into Dr Browning's scheming.

When Vincent (John Omole) receives a letter about his friend Akin being deported, Phoebe (Mandip Gill) decides to get back in touch with Trevor, who demands £500 for a fake passport.

Knowing she won't be able to come up with the cash on her own, she asks Dr Browning (Joseph Thompson) for help.

However, instead of trying to help her, Browning decides to plant a photo of the teen in the medical file of one of his wealthy patients, Mrs. Rahj, in order to try to convince the terminally ill woman that Phoebe is her granddaughter.

Phoebe feels guilty when Mrs Rahj gives her an expensive bracelet but she goes ahead with the plan and sells it to pay Trevor.

Vincent is overwhelmed when Phoebe presents him with the papers he needs to visit his friend. However, just as he's about to leave, a parcel arrives containing a letter from Akin saying that he has already been deported.

Monday

Sinead volunteers herself as a mole to work in Trevor's club. Trevor gives Sinead a 'test run' before offering her the job entertaining his clients.

Later, Ste finds a broken Sinead sitting down in the shower. She has a plan - she's going to blackmail her next client to get enough money to run away.

Meanwhile, Vincent is crushed when he receives a letter about his friend Akin being deported. Phoebe decides to get back in touch with Trevor, who demands £500 for a fake passport. She asks Doctor Browning for help, but he has another plan for Phoebe.

Elsewhere, the Roscoes confront a puzzled Jack about the 'affair' he's having with Sandy, but have they made a colossal mistake?

Tuesday

Browning plants a photo of Phoebe in the medical file of one of his wealthy patients, Mrs Rahj, hoping to convince her that Phoebe is her long-lost granddaughter.

Later, Phoebe feels guilty when Mrs Rahj gives her an expensive bracelet, which she uses to pay Trevor.

Meanwhile, things heat up between George and Vincent.

Elsewhere, with too much at risk, Ste and Sinead prepare to leave Hollyoaks forever, but can anyone make them change their minds?

Wednesday

Sinead is left broken and terrified after an encounter with Trevor, but has she finally found her way out?

Meanwhile, Phoebe and George comfort a distraught Vincent following the news that Atkin has already been deported.

Elsewhere, Ste discovers a life-changing revelation about his past.

Thursday

As Ste struggles to control his emotions, he is left stunned by his mum's expectations. Can he really go through with helping her to die?

Meanwhile, Freddie is concerned when Trevor turns up at the Roscoes' with a ghastly job for him. Knowing that he needs to keep his family safe, will Freddie go through with it?

Elsewhere, how will a blissfully unaware Sinead cope when her ultimate nightmare unfolds in front her eyes?

Also today, can Vincent bring himself to finally tell Phoebe the truth about his sexuality?

Friday

Ste is in emotional turmoil, but can he really fulfil such a painstaking crime?

Meanwhile, Doctor Browning goes to the hospital and finds out that Mrs Rahj has passed away. He spots her handbag under the bed and swipes her house keys. Back at home, Browning confides in Mercy that he didn't get the consultancy job and tells her about his plan to rip-off his deceased patient. Mercedes is happy to help out, but how would she feel if she knew he needed the money for a hit on Myra?

Elsewhere, Carmel surprises Jim with a birthday picnic and a replica Roman helmet. However, it turns out that Myra got Jim the expensive gift - is she falling for Jim?

Also today, the Roscoe boys receive the shock of their lives.
