Former Neighbours star Darius Perkins is set to return to the soap but in a different role.
Perkins, who played Scott Robinson when the show first began in 1985, will appear in a one-month guest role as Marty Kranjancic, who is a dodgy associate of Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).

Dennis played Perkins's character's brother during his first stint on the show.
Perkins said to TV Tonight: "It's great playing a bad guy because Scott Robinson was such a nice bloke and the writers have done a terrific job with Marty by showing another side."
The character of Scott Robinson was eventually recast, with Jason Donovan taking over the role.
Perkins will appear as Marty on Australian screens from August.
