Kerry and Dans Tats are about the only exciting thing this week. So sick of Rhona and Vanessa, and then we'll probably have a month long storyline of Paddy finally finding out that his wife a drug addict and that Vanessa is in love with Rhona and now she has to decide who she wants Paddy or Vanessa. Hahaha, Emmerdale is boring. Bring on the Cain/Amy baby story, so cant wait for that one.

Meanwhile, Brenda Walker's plans to surprise Bob Hope with a secret hand-fasting ceremony certainly don't run smoothly on Emmerdale.

In order for everything to work out perfectly, Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) knows that she needs to trust Dan Spencer to get Bob to the ceremony on time.

Unfortunately, Dan is also helping to hide another surprise - Bob (Tony Audenshaw) is planning a romantic and elaborate proposal for Brenda which clashes with the ceremony!

With the clock ticking, Bob and Dan (Liam Fox) force Brenda to take a little trip "to the farmer's market" in the camper van.

Brenda tries her best to protest as she knows she might not make it back in time for the ceremony, but it's too late.

Later, Bob, Brenda and Dan get out of the van on a hill. Brenda finally agrees to have a picnic with Bob, sure by now that it's too late for the ceremony she'd planned.

Suddenly, all becomes clear to Brenda when a brass band appears and Bob romantically proposes. Will Brenda accept, and what does this mean for the ceremony she's put so much thought into?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, July 18 at 7pm on ITV.

Umm seems like a bit of a sleepy week. Non of my fav characters seem to be in it. Only intresting thing is what and where Kerry and Dans tats are. Vanessa and Rhona cant really work it out, if I was vanessa I would just give Rhona the darn pills and let her destroy her life.

Monday

Vanessa feels jealous at Paddy and Rhona's closeness and is disappointed that the couple are planning on going away. Later, Vanessa deliberately rushes off on a call without giving Rhona her next pill, and Rhona panics at being left without her lifeline.

Later in the pub, Rhona is strung out when Vanessa finally comes back and hands over the pills. Vanessa is happy her plan has worked when Rhona tells Paddy that she can't go away. Paddy is fed up with his wife's rejection when Vanessa suggests that he should go on his own and Rhona agrees. Vanessa is clearly looking forward to having Rhona to herself.

Meanwhile, Marlon tells Sandy that Laurel is still off after the carjacking, wondering if he'll have a word with her. Sandy then calls round to see Laurel, telling her that he was once mugged himself. He suggests checking pawn shops or the internet for her stolen items and she jumps straight online.

Later, Marlon is put out when Laurel calls him home to show him that she thinks she has found Arthur's stolen games console online. He is alarmed when Laurel tells him that she can find the carjacker now. Marlon tells her to leave it or call the police, and she reluctantly agrees not to pursue it. Will Laurel really take the sensible advice of her partner?

Elsewhere, Rachel apologises for the humiliation Priya felt, but begs her not to punish Archie. They appear to reach an understanding.

Also today, Bob tells Dan that he's going to propose to Brenda.

Tuesday

Laurel convinces Paddy to give her a lift into town, but he is horrified to realise that he has potentially brought her to the carjacker's house. He tries to keep her in the car, but she is determined and Paddy has no choice but to go after her.

When an old lady opens the door, she invites Laurel to see the DS and Laurel heads in. As Laurel examines the DS, convinced it is Arthur's, she asks Doris how she got it. Doris replies that it was from her grandson and is shocked when Laurel accuses her grandson of being a carjacker. Laurel's blood then runs cold as Doris's grandson Dean arrives. Has she come face-to-face with her attacker?

Meanwhile, Bob covers his disappointment when Brenda turns down a night in a posh restaurant with him, unaware that he was going to propose. Dan tries to talk Brenda round and she confesses that she and Gennie are planning a ceremony - she wants to marry Bob and fills him in on her ceremony plans for Thursday. Dan tries to think of the best way of resolving this and he tries to convince Bob to propose sooner rather than later. Dan has to cover his alarm when he learns that Bob has booked a brass band for the same day as the ceremony.

Elsewhere, Bob overhears an exhausted Val and Eric bask in the glory of their plan to trick Nikhil. They are triumphant as an excited Nikhil says they should talk about a deal on the B&B. Bob breaks the news of Pollard's scam to Gennie, who tells Nikhil. Although furious to have been conned, Nikhil is torn as he enjoyed working at the B&B. Val and Pollard's triumph fades when Gennie tells them the deal is off. They are fuming that Bob has scuppered their evil plans. Left with no choice, they agree to Nikhil's request of 24 hours to run the B&B with no interference. Gennie is less than impressed.

Also today, Vanessa is delighted when Rhona agrees to go on a spa break with her.

Wednesday

Paddy wants Laurel to tell Marlon about yesterday. She angrily refuses, but Marlon comes in and wants to know what she's not telling him. He is shocked and angry to hear about yesterday's events.

As Paddy leaves, Marlon asks why Laurel did it. He is upset that she won't let him help and is frustrated when she tells him that he should have manned up to Cain. Laurel then leaves, determined to take action. Will Marlon find her before she does something stupid?

Meanwhile, Dan feels pressure from both sides when Bob tells him that they need to get Brenda to the proposal site tomorrow and Brenda asks for Dan's help in getting Bob to the ceremony. Bob worries when Brenda tells him that she has other plans tomorrow. Dan sees how down Bob is and stops him from cancelling the brass band, promising his friend that he'll get his special proposal...

Elsewhere, Nikhil is devastated when Gennie is adamant that running the B&B isn't what she wants as their future. Brenda tries to convince Gennie that there's a fun side to running the B&B, adding that she and Nikhil are a great team and can make it a success. Later, Nikhil is glum as he tells Val and Eric that they won't be putting in an offer. However, Gennie then enters, pulling Nikhil away and happily telling him to buy it, leaving him reeling. Will it be too late?

Also today, Vanessa is thrilled when Rhona hugs her gratefully for giving her a tablet. Vanessa holds her a bit longer than she should.

Finally, Brenda's loved ones throw her a secret hen party.

Thursday

Brenda and Bob continue to keep their secrets from each other about the ceremony and Bob's proposal plans. Brenda is stressing about the handfasting ceremony, but realises she has to trust Dan to get Bob there on time. In the café, Bob suspects there's something going on with Brenda and forces Dan to call her. Dan tells her that Bob's had an embarrassing accident and she has to come home.

Back at the village, Bob and Dan force Brenda to go to the 'farmer's market' in Hettie the camper van. Brenda protests as she realises that she may not make it back in time for the ceremony, but it's too late. David and Ruby are dumbfounded as they watch them drive off, with Brenda shouting: "Tell Gennie I have been kidnapped." At the site, the guests wait for Bob, Gennie and Brenda, and Nikhil is dumbstruck when David says that Brenda has been kidnapped by Bob.

A brass band appears and Bob romantically proposes to Brenda, who delightedly accepts. Dan tells Brenda that he'll get her to the ceremony on time, but can he really keep his promise?

Meanwhile, Laurel admits to Marlon that she's struggling driving again. He tells her that he'll get rid of the car. In The Woolpack, Rishi questions Marlon about the car that's for sale and realises just how desperate Laurel is to get rid of it. Sandy talks to Laurel and tries to reassure her that Marlon wouldn't let anything happen to her again, but Laurel freaks out when she thinks the delivery man is her attacker.

Elsewhere, Vanessa is suspicious that Rhona has got a delivery, but she tells her it's just a credit card and realises she'll have to work harder to allay Vanessa's suspicions. She later admits to Vanessa that the credit card is for transferring money for the drug company and snaps when Vanessa tells her that she'll look after it for her. Rhona's resentment of her control is starting to show.

Also, Chas is disappointed that Cameron has to stay and manage the pub because Bernice has to look after Gabby.

Finally, Amy and Victoria return from holiday and are shocked to discover that Nikhil is their new boss, while Gennie asks Dan to cover for her as she has got a cancellation slot for her driving test.

Bob, Brenda and Dan get into the helicopter. Bob asks where they are going, but Brenda tells him that all will be revealed soon. Gennie arrives at the glamping site just in time to see her mum, Bob and Dan arrive. Bob is gobsmacked when it becomes clear that he has been brought to his own surprise wedding. He tells Brenda that he loves her and she emotionally takes off her wig, gets down on one knee and asks him to marry her. The guests erupt into cheers as Bob agrees and the couple kiss.

Soon afterwards, Gennie wells up as she starts the service. The couple exchange vows, but Nikhil takes over from a crying Gennie and pronounces Bob and Brenda husband and wife. Everyone cheers and the guests throw petals at the happy couple, before they all head back to The Woolpack for the wedding reception.

Meanwhile, Chas is confused to learn that Gabby is at school so Bernice didn't have to look after her and miss her shift. Cameron later covers to Chas, explaining that he got his wires crossed with Bernice. Chas buys it and is happy and in love as she catches the bouquet at Bob and Brenda's ceremony. She's blissfully unaware that Cameron's thoughts are still with Debbie.

Elsewhere, Marlon rushes in to see Laurel to make sure that she's okay. Laurel is clearly struggling more than she's letting on. Laurel apologises and tells him that she's going to enjoy her afternoon off alone, so Marlon heads off to Bob and Brenda's reception. Later that evening, Laurel is watching TV and when she thinks she hears a noise, she springs to her feet ...

Also, Gennie tells Nikhil that she passed her test first time.

Finally, Victoria admits to Diane that she doesn't want her to leave, while a suspicious Gennie asks Debbie about Cameron.

Friday

Chas is excited as she has an idea to get married in Vegas in two weeks. Cameron is cagey and tells her that they'll talk about it later, as he has to go to the cash and carry. Charity is troubled as she hears about their plans and tells Debbie, but is relieved that she seems to take it well. However, Debbie's face turns to stone when Charity goes.

When Cameron visits Debbie, he explains that he's not marrying Chas - he wants her. Debbie is upset as Cameron tries to explain that he was only with Chas because he was desperate. She hardens and tells him to leave as she realises that he's not going to tell Chas the truth about how he feels and he's a liar. Will Cameron tell Chas the truth?

Soon afterwards, Gennie watches Debbie throw Cameron out and insists on going inside with her to find out what's going on. Debbie covers for why they were rowing, but Gennie thinks it's because she's terrified of Cameron. Gennie explains that he threatened her once too and she thinks they should tell Chas. Debbie snaps and warns her not to, forcing her to leave. Will Gennie listen to Debbie?

Meanwhile, Rishi gives Gennie a car as a leaving gift, telling her that he is sad to see her go.

Elsewhere, Bob and Brenda head to Scarborough for their honeymoon.

Also today, Sean is unimpressed when Dan and Kerry are hungover after their night out and reveal they have got matching tattoos on their feet.

Finally, Victoria is down and Amy tells her to sort her life out, knowing she still loves Adam.

In the lead-up to the wedding, the pair are both keeping secrets from each other with Brenda planning the surprise ceremony and Bob wanting to propose.

The guests erupt into cheers as Bob agrees and the couple kiss. Ginne wells up as she starts the service in which Bob and Brenda exchange vows, causing Nikhil to take over from her.

Bob and Brenda are finally announced as husband and wife as everyone cheers and throws petals at the happy couple before heading back to The Woolpack for the reception.

This makes sense. I guess he's too hurt by his family to stay around. Hope that he keeps in touch with Brenda for Gennie's sake though. I would think they'll visit.
