Body found on site ????? Cameron buried the body where they were going to pour concrete into, dug a hole buried the body (again) covered it and the next morning they poured concrete into the hole.

My guess is planning permission wasn't granted so they have to undo all work carried out and put the wood back as it was (minus a few trees) and the body is found when digging concert up.

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's Kerry Wyatt and Dan Spencer become an item later this month.

A caring Dan consoles Kerry (Laura Norton) as she feels isolated in the village after confessing to her fake pregnancy scheme.

As Andy and Amy are both upset with her, Kerry confides in Dan (Liam Fox) about everything and they joke about how they're both down on their luck.

Soon Kerry is seeing Dan with very fond eyes and it's not long before she makes her move.

Dan finds Kerry impossible to resist, but when Bob finds out about his friend's new love interest, he's convinced that Kerry is just using Dan…

Monday

Rhona is nervous about her upcoming support group meeting and temporarily freezes when Paddy asks her to attend a networking event with him. Luckily, Vanessa steps in and provides a credible excuse, suggesting that that it would clash with her Pilates class.

However, Paddy has picked up on the strange vibe and is becoming increasingly aware of Rhona's erratic behaviour. He confides in Marlon, who does his best to reassure his friend, but does Marlon harbour concerns too?

Meanwhile, Rishi feels he is on his own, and that he is losing his son so that Jai can keep hold of Archie. Jai realises that he needs to do something fast to reconcile the family. Will his offer to Nikhil build bridges, or go down like a lead balloon?

Elsewhere, a walking-wounded Kerry feels isolated from the village and her next move is anyone's guess - where will she stay? However, Dan seems taken by Kerry despite all of her flaws. Will he come to her rescue?

Also today, Adam is wracked with guilt when he comes face-to-face with Kerry. Later, his day goes from bad to worse when he is tasked with letting the new farmhand Natalie go.

Finally, Megan worries about Robbie's whereabouts, but she seems to be the only one that cares.


Tuesday



At the meeting, Rhona is rocked to hear of other people's experiences and finds the attention excruciating when it's her turn to talk. Will she stay strong or bolt for the door?

Meanwhile, Nikhil is adamant that he will not be bought off by Jai and his dad, but Gennie feels that she is the one suffering whilst Nikhil makes his stand. Later, when Jai and Rishi corner Gennie, her loyalties are tested to the max - but who will she side with?

Elsewhere, Declan is smug that he made a good business decision when he vetoed a stage supplier that has now gone bust. Megan reluctantly admits that she went with the company against Declan's wishes. Declan warns her that she needs to fix it or they will be finished...

Also today, Megan continues to worry about Robbie who has gone AWOL. He returns just as things have turned sour at Home Farm. Later, Adam fumes at Robbie for pulling a disappearing act. Declan warns Robbie to sort things out with his mum or he will pay, just like he is paying now for the mistakes Megan is making whilst being preoccupied about her son.

Finally, Kerry thinks flirting with Dan could help her predicament, but will Dan take heed of his friends' warnings?


Wednesday

With everything riding on the success of the festival, news from the foreman that they have discovered possible body parts at the site could prove to be the final nail in the coffin.

Will Declan do what is morally right, or cover up in more ways than one?

Meanwhile, Adam is desperate to make amends with Victoria when she offers an olive branch and agrees to a have a drink with him in the pub. However, Adam struggles to focus on Victoria when he overhears Kerry talking about the accident and the details she remembers. Much to Adam's concern, Kerry is motivated by money in her quest for criminal compensation to recall the event. What will he do?

Elsewhere, Rhona is evasive with Vanessa about her first support meeting and is less than keen when Vanessa wants to start lowering her dosage. Rhona attempts to find other ways of getting hold of the drugs she needs and seems to be finding it easier to deceive those around her...

Also today, Nikhil is unsettled by his employment status.

Thursday

Declan has paid the workmen hush money to not mention the bones they have found. However, he tells Megan that he's worried about what Katie will do, knowing that she wants him to report it to the police. Katie initially assumes that Declan has made the right call, but later both Declan and Megan panic when Katie confronts them. Katie knows he hasn't called them as work on the glamping site is continuing as normal.

Declan and Megan realise there is no way out when Katie orders him to call the police now. However, knowing this would mean the end of the glamping, the festival and his dreams, will Declan make the call?

Meanwhile, Kerry is set on going to a 'no win, no fee' lawyer to grab some cash, until Dan hands her an anonymous envelope of dosh that has dropped through the letterbox. Despite the relief of not having to go through lawyer meetings and paperwork, Kerry worries to realise the hit and run driver knows her identity and wants her to keep quiet. Keen to make up with daughter Amy, Kerry heads to The Woolpack to try buying her daughter's love. But will her plan work?

Elsewhere, Rhona is dressed all sporty for her fictional 'Pilates' class. However, unable to face up to her problems, she doesn't even enter the meeting. At the door, Rhona spots another addict who soon makes her face up to the reality of what she is doing. Can Rhona get out of this spiral she is in?

Also, Bob's patience is being tested by Nikhil's enthusiasm for being a great Barista, Gemma and Belle continue to argue, while Adam breathes a sigh of relief to realise Kerry has accepted the cash for silence - but knows Cain still holds his fate in his hands.

Wound up by Declan's betrayal, Katie confides her hurt in Chas, who assumes that Katie knows about Charity. As Katie rails on about Declan's big betrayal, Chas soon realises they are talking at cross purposes and quickly leaves before she gets herself into a scrape.

However, Katie is suspicious and later returns to quiz Chas about what she knows. Soon Chas is telling Katie about Declan's one-night stand with Charity. Katie is distraught by the extent of his dishonesty and is sickened to realise that Jai and Cameron also know. How will Katie react? Or could she be planning to serve her revenge the best way - cold and with a smile?

Meanwhile, Gemma is mortified to arrive at school and see that Belle has got her revenge by going public on her termination. Zak and Lisa are summoned to the school and are horrified at what Belle has done - ashamed and unable to recognise what she has become. Dom is livid at their daughter as Gemma now sees her life as over. Dom is gunning for Belle and will not stop until she's expelled, which leaves Zak and Lisa despairing.

Elsewhere, Dan consoles Kerry after her drunken behaviour last night. She is mortified by everything and they joke about them both being down on their luck. Soon Kerry is seeing Dan with very fond eyes and it's not long before she makes her move. Will Dan be able to resist?

Also, when Rhona returns from her 'Pilates' looking dreadful, Paddy is suspicious. Fortunately, her parcel of internet pills arriving saves her, but Rhona keeps their existence a secret from Vanessa. How long can she go on like this?

Friday

Declan is optimistic and confident about the festival sponsorship event that day, while Katie secretly plots her revenge. Chas worries about what Katie is up to, knowing that she is planning something big, but Katie remains tight-lipped on what she is about to do.

As the event begins at Home Farm, Declan is surprised and unnerved to discover that Katie has convinced both Charity and Jai to attend. They were not on his guest list, so why would she have been so insistent on them coming? Soon Katie's motives become clear when she taps on her glass to gather the whole room's attention. She's has an announcement to make, and Declan is soon sweating…

Meanwhile, Bob can't wait to congratulate Dan on kicking Kerry out, believing her to be long gone. However, Kerry then walks in wearing Dan's dressing gown - they've spent the night together! Bob later tries to warn Kerry off Dan, as he knows she is just using him. However, Dan has got his own opinions about Kerry and he wants another night with her to confirm them.

Elsewhere, after a visit from the Social Services, Debbie asks Dom for one more favour - she will need some help soon to move the rest of the booze. Dom reluctantly agrees, despite having problems of his own to sort.

Also today, Chas's dreams of owning the pub are dashed when Cameron makes a decision over his kids and his finances. Gennie can't believe Chas won't go for it on her own.

Emmerdale's Kerry Wyatt has a new man in her sights next week as her chances of reuniting with Andy Sugden lie in tatters.

Kerry faces a backlash after she confesses to her pregnancy lie in an upcoming episode. However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel as Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) gives her a place to stay along with support that goes beyond friendship!

A surprised Kerry also finds herself with £2,000 in her back pocket after she receives a mysterious pay-off over her hit and run accident…

Here, Laura Norton - who plays Kerry - reveals all the details of the latest drama ahead for her outrageous character.

How does Kerry cope after her upcoming hit and run drama?
"Kerry doesn't know who the driver was, but I don't think that's her concern at all. Her main worry is that she wakes up in hospital discovering that she's been in a coma and her arm is in a sling. She's quite badly hurt to be honest, and she's got a lot of things to face up to when she wakes up.

"She does have to confess to the pregnancy lie, but I think she's pushed into that by Amy. Amy never believed her all along, so she tells Kerry that it's her perfect opportunity to tell the truth. Kerry is in such a vulnerable position that she does decide to be honest. She's tried every other angle with Andy and she really doesn't want to lose him."

So how does Kerry's confession go?
"Andy really is the best thing that's ever happened to Kerry, and this scene is the first time she's ever really been honest with anyone in the show. Kerry lets her guard down, so she talks to Andy about her past and all of these destructive, awful relationships that she's been in with men.

"Kerry expected Andy to be the same, only to discover that she's probably met the nicest person that she's ever had. Andy sees through that bravado with Kerry. He sees that she has a heart and there's potential there for a really great girl. When Kerry is honest with Andy, she hopes that it'll work in her favour."

However, Kerry ends up moving in with Dan as she has nobody else supporting her! Is she just using Dan for accommodation?
"Not at all! Kerry is not using him, but Dan is the only friend that she's got in the world at the moment. She really appreciates the fact that he's got her back, even though he doesn't know her that well. Dan tries to stick up for her when nobody else will give her the benefit of the doubt.

"Kerry thinks, 'Thank God I've got a friend!' He's so kind and he's even softer than Andy. Dan has been messed around by women himself and really let down. He seems to wear his heart on his sleeve and offer everything, but you find that you meet quite a lot of takers when you're like that. Kerry is definitely a taker!"

Does Kerry remember anything from the accident?
"She remembers being drunk and that's pretty much it. She remembers that she got hit and the very vaguest of things. The only thing she's certain of is that it was a car that hit her. However, Kerry does get it into her head that she could get some compensation on a no-win, no-fee basis!"

Is Kerry pleased when she later receives an anonymous envelope stuffed with £2,000? It's a lot easier than going through the courts…
"No, at first Kerry is not pleased at all! It's actually another moment where we see Kerry seeming really vulnerable. She's really surprised to see an envelope pop up with her name on, especially when she's staying with Bob and Dan at the minute. For a letter to come addressed to her is a bit strange.

"Along with the money, there's a note with quite a sinister vibe to it. All it says is, 'You can keep this money if you keep your mouth shut'. Kerry starts to think that potentially the hit and run wasn't an accident, and it's been done by someone who knows where she's living at the moment.

"I think Kerry's mind starts to play tricks on her, and she wonders if it's been done deliberately after she's upset so many people in the village. But she soon brightens up and hopes it will go away if she keeps her mouth shut. There's a couple of grand there and she's quite pleased to have the money."


Does she worry that the mystery sender isn't finished with her yet?
"I don't think Kerry ever worries like that for very long - she's just living in the moment. She thinks it's done and dusted, she's accepted the money and it'll all go away now. She'll only start worrying about it if it comes back to haunt her."

Kerry also tries to buy off Amy with the money, doesn't she?
"Yes, this is one of the things that Kerry is delighted about. In her head, she thinks that because she's got a little bit of money, she'll be more appealing to Amy. She's never supported Amy for all those years, so she thinks that a couple of grand is going to win her round. But Amy will not be bought - it's going to take an awful lot more than that!

"After that, Kerry is feeling really low and she knows that she's not going to be able to win people around by turning the tears on. She hits rock bottom and gets absolutely leathered again. It's her default position and she's like a teenager. She gets drunk at the pub and Dan helps her home."

Does that mean Kerry looks at Dan with new eyes?
"Yeah, she starts to look at him in a way that she's never seen him before. She thinks that he'd be a really good friend, and probably someone she could get up to a bit of mischief with. He's so nice to her and so understanding, so Kerry starts to open her eyes and I think she finds him quite attractive."

Do you think they'd make a good match?
"I think they'd be a great match! I think there's potential for them to get up to an awful lot of mischief. I can see it being quite a volatile relationship. One day they'd be having really heated arguments and then the next day they'd be passionately in love with each other!"


What happens after Kerry and Dan have spent the night together?
"Kerry thinks it'd be a really good idea if her, Dan and Bob carried on living together! As far as she's concerned, it's great - she's got a roof over her head, and she's living with a couple of good lads. Bob does have a lot going on with Brenda's brain tumour, but Kerry is so wrapped up in her own self-pity that she doesn't know much about that. She doesn't even realise what Bob's going through."

How does Kerry react when a concerned Bob tries to warn her off Dan?
"She gets really defensive. It's somebody else having a go at her and somebody else making her feel bad about herself. Bob does this just when Kerry is starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel, so she doesn't take too kindly to it, really. She tries to take it on board, but it's never as simple as that with Kerry. She wants to go back for more, and I think her and Dan could really go places."

How do you feel about playing someone with so many problems?
"Kerry is the best character and I honestly wouldn't swap her for the world. I wouldn't take another character. Kerry is so wonderfully complicated that I get to play the widest range of emotion with her.

"Playing Kerry, you're literally doing eccentric comedy stuff one minute and giving Adam Barton a lap dance, and then the next minute you see a vulnerable child where you can play this tragedy and pathos. It's genuine, real and she's very, very damaged. It isn't just one of those two-dimensional characters who makes mistakes and tries to put things right. It's so layered and it's excellent writing."

What are your hopes for Kerry's future?
"I hope there's lot more for her and Dan, because he's a great character. There is potential for loads of great comedy for them, even though it'd be tempestuous sometimes. If anyone can get through a few of Kerry's layers and find out what's going on, it's Dan. He could find out some of what she's hiding under that bravado. That would be really interesting.

"I'd also like Kerry to resolve some of the past with Amy and, for once in her life, make her daughter a priority. I don't know if that's going to happen anytime soon, though!"

Emmerdale businessman Declan Macey organises a shock cover-up tonight (June 19) after Alex Moss's remains are found on the festival site.

When the foreman tells Declan (Jason Merrells) that human body parts have been uncovered, it quickly becomes apparent that the music event will have to be cancelled if the police get involved.

Knowing that so much is riding on the success of the festival and the glamping site, Declan and Megan (Gaynor Faye) instruct the foreman to lay earth back over the body and carry on as normal.

Declan is certain that he's making the right decision as the body is in a bad state and could be years old. However, with Declan's wife Katie appalled over his attitude, can this secret stay buried for long?
