It’s clear the girls are being held prisoner, and they’re not going anywhere. When Joey, the man guarding them, speaks with flirtatious familiarity with Ricky, Tamara realises Ricky’s been lying and is somehow involved. But when Joey comes on strong with Ricky, Tamara feels concerned for her. Ricky tries to get Tamara to trust her, and together they plan for Tamara to escape. Ricky attempts to seduce Joey, and is able to escape, but Tamara is caught and unable to escape with her.
The Braxton brothers suspect something bad has happened to Tamara, and Brax can’t get onto Ricky either. Brax doesn’t want to call the cops and endanger the girls, and he tells Heath to be with Bianca, who is in the city researching a pregnancy program for students. With Tamara and Ricky missing, it is likely Bianca is also unsafe. Brax and Kyle decide to keep Tamara’s disappearance from Casey.
With Heath in the city and Casey in gaol, Indi is faced with running the gym two employees down. Jett notices that John is avoiding Marilyn and wants to know why. When they see a ‘help wanted’ sign at the gym, they offer to help out, with John claiming the title King of Yogasise. However, it becomes clear that John is neither proficient in yogasise, or any type of exercise. Jett suspects John’s attempts to help Indi at the gym are an excuse for him to avoid his problems with Marilyn, but Jett’s distracted by girl problems of his own when Nina shows up to do a class. Jett admits to Indi that he broke up with Nina because she made him happy and he felt it was disrespectful to Gina to be happy so soon after he death. Now he realises Gina wanted him to be happy, but he feels terrible for the way he treated Nina. Indi, in matchmaker mode, tells Jett that Nina is probably still into him. Off the back of her advice, Jett plays matchmaker himself and invites Marilyn around. She tells Jett that she should give them space right now, because she made a mistake and hurt John. Jett calls her a chicken, and realises he needs to apologise to Nina, who understands his reasons. They decide to be boyfriend and girlfriend again. Indi is grateful for John’s help, but after today she’s still low on staff. After speaking with Jett, Marilyn tries to apologise to John for her misunderstanding, but John thinks it’s too difficult for them to remain friends.

Ricky escapes, only to run into Adam and his men. He brings her back to the abandoned motel room where Tamara has been tied up. Tamara is disgusted when Adam enters, and feels betrayed by Ricky. But when Adam threatens Tamara, Ricky defends her. He tells the girls if they try and escape again he will kill them. Tamara and Ricky try and convince Adam that Brax isn’t the person he thinks he is. Brax grieved for Adam, and truly thought he was dead otherwise he would never have left Adam for dead at the side of the road. Adam becomes enraged – Brax betrayed him, left him to die, and he’s not going to let this go. Adam decides to move the girls, scaring Tamara and telling her he bets she wishes she’d never met the Braxtons. Tamara’s distressed and at breaking point.
Brax and Kyle visit Casey, who’s upset Tamara hasn’t seen him. Brax vows to get Casey out of prison, while Casey is increasingly frustrated by Brax’s defence of Ricky. At the end of the visit, Casey reveals he’s desperate to see Tamara, so Brax lies and says he sent Tamara to the city with Bianca so she can be safe. Kyle thinks they should tell Casey the truth, but Brax wants to protect him. The boys receive a photo of Kyle buying the gun used to frame Casey, so Kyle has to leave otherwise he’ll go to gaol. Brax is now on his own, just like Adam wants. Before Kyle goes he warns Brax not to trust Ricky, but Brax doesn’t want to hear it. They still don’t know who’s really behind this.
Sid, acting on Indi’s behalf, asks Harvey and Alf if they could help Indi out at the gym. Harvey takes it on enthusiastically – a little too enthusiastically. Wednesday episode 5758 - 5/06/13
After feeling like a third wheel during dinner with Sasha and Spencer, Maddy takes Roo’s advice to make new friends. Maddy quickly forms a friendship with Holly, not knowing that she’s been bullying Rosie. Maddy’s impressed with Holly’s flirtatious attitude toward Zac, and her new friend seems like a breath of fresh air. Spencer’s concerned about Holly, but Maddy feels entitled to make new friends and is disinterested in his opinion. Meanwhile, Zac’s uncomfortable with Holly’s less than scholastic interest in him, and Natalie counsels him to not give Holly anything to act on. Unbeknownst to them, Holly’s interest is more than just a crush, as she shows Maddy pictures she’s taken of Zac when he hasn’t noticed. Natalie overhears the two girls talking, and is concerned. Later, Holly is jealous of Natalie and Zac’s relationship. Feeling the joke’s gone too far, Maddy questions whether Holly is serious about Zac.
April is still upset that Dex believes he’s smarter than her. She asks to be transferred to another ward, but Sid tells her the solution is to be professional and work out her differences with Dex. On a personal level, Sid is disappointed in Dex acting like work is high school. Dex attempts to apologise, but April can’t let it go. Dex is worried that he’s tapped into April’s insecurities, but Sid suggests maybe he’s the insecure one. If he’s uneasy about his decision to become a nurse he shouldn’t take it out on April. At the same time, Sasha tells April that she shouldn’t worry about her intelligence – she’s going to be an awesome doctor. Dex makes peace with his decision to pursue nursing instead of medicine. Back on shift, April almost forgets one thing in a set of instructions given by Sid– that a patient is nil-by-mouth. Dex refrains from telling her, hoping she’ll remember this crucial instruction, and he’s delighted when she does. Dex feels at ease, knowing April is going to be a great doctor. Later, April realises Dex knew she’d missed the instruction to make the patient nil-by-mouth, but he waited for her to remember. Now she feels supported by him. Maybe they’ll make a great team after all.
