Neighbours newlywed Sonya Mitchell finally gets her memory back on UK screens later this month, which is bad news for Mason Turner.

Sonya (Eve Morey) has been unable to remember the tragic events of her wedding day over the past few weeks, including her discovery that Mason (Taylor Glockner) was involved in the attempted robbery at Lassiter's.

With Sonya's caring husband Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) determined to beat her amnesia, he secretly organises a vow renewal ceremony in the hope that it will bring everything back.

After a little help from his cousin Georgia Brooks, Toadie manages to surprise Sonya on the day - and she is delighted to see that her closest friends and family have gathered for the romantic event.

Toadie's plan appears to be paying off when Sonya starts to remember her vows and the original wedding.

As a result of Sonya's actions, Mason is arrested in the middle of a date with his new girlfriend Kate Ramsay (Ashleigh Brewer).

Neighbours handyman Kyle Canning will find himself in danger after he loses his vision in an upcoming storyline.

A new plot which kicks off on Australian screens this week sees Kyle damage his vision by staring at an eclipse without safety glasses.

Although Kyle is advised that his blindness will only be temporary, he has a tough challenge ahead as he misses his independence.

When Kyle's housemate Chris Pappas (James Mason) tries to boost his self-esteem by inviting him to help out at the car yard, it only makes everything worse.

Christopher Milligan, who plays Kyle, told TV Week: "He needs to get out of the house. Everyone is on his case trying to help him out, but Kyle pushes them away.

"Chris invites him down to the car yard, and Kyle will take anything to get out of that little bubble. Chris is being a good mate and trying to offer Kyle something to do. But even Chris gets to a point where he tells Kyle he needs to rest."

Unhappy at this advice, Kyle storms off but then faces a potentially deadly situation when he walks towards a busy road.

Milligan added: "Chris clearly doesn't want him at the car yard helping out, so he storms off and walks into a busy intersection. An oncoming car is headed right towards him and he can't see it coming."

Neighbours fans will find out whether Kyle is injured when the scenes air next week on Eleven in Australia and in June on Channel 5 in the UK.
