Coming up on Coronation Street, Stella Price will be in danger of losing the Rovers Return when she is hit with unexpected financial difficulties.

Builder Owen Armstrong has already started work on restoring the pub following the recent fire, but Stella (Michelle Collins) realises that she may not be able to pay him when her insurance company refuses to pay out for the job.

Stella's first idea is to ask her daughter Leanne for help, as she has the cash after selling her share of the bookies.

Unfortunately, Leanne insists that she'll only give up the money if Stella dumps Karl Munro. Far from pleased with the ultimatum, Stella declares that she won't be blackmailed.

Stella soon realises that she doesn't have any options left, so she breaks the news to Owen (Ian Puleston-Davies) that she won't be able to pay him.

In a fury, Owen starts dismantling the pub fittings to wreck the work that he's already done. A horrified Karl tries to stop him, but how will a raging Owen react?

Stella tells Leanne that she can keep her money - she refuses to be blackmailed. When Stella tells Karl how she chose him over Leanne's money, he's touched.

Realising she has no option, Stella breaks the news to Owen about how she can't pay him. In a fury, Owen starts dismantling the pub fittings. A horrified Karl tries to stop him, but how will a raging Owen react?

Meanwhile, when Kylie feels a twinge, David panics but Kylie explains that it's the baby kicking. David puts out his hand and feels the baby kick too, insisting that Nick does the same. Mortified, will Nick be forced to go along with it?

Elsewhere, Gary whinges to Anna about how short of money he is. Anna is unsympathetic, pointing out that he spent £200 on Tina. Later, when Owen tells Tina the bad news about the Rovers job, he promises that he'll sort her surrogacy fee somehow. As Gary worries, how will Tina react?

Also, Sylvia visits Dottie, a friend in a care home. Dottie hands Sylvia a letter which came for her, apologising for the fact that she's had it so long. Sylvia's face hardens when she recognises the handwriting.

Stella and Karl call at Number 6, offering Owen a half share of The Rovers if in return he finishes the job without payment. Stunned, how will Owen react?

Later, Karl sets about clearing up the mess at the pub. Stella points out that they may have lost their home and their business, but they've still got each other. Karl asks Stella again if she'll marry him - will Stella agree?

Meanwhile, Gary calls at Tina's flat and promises that he'll make sure she gets her surrogacy payment. When Izzy finds out what's happened at The Rovers, she is worried about Gary and calls his mobile. How will she react to the news that he was with Tina trying to reassure her about their financial situation?

Elsewhere, David arrives home dog-tired after his shift at the Bistro. Gail advises him to stop working so hard and stop stressing over Kylie and the baby.

Also, Sylvia reads the letter from St John. Telling Hayley it's more for Roy than her, she refuses to discuss it further.

Finally, Carla, Peter, Rob and Tracy have dinner at the Bistro, where Peter and Rob continue to bicker over the bookies.

Wednesday

Gloria is delighted to hear about Stella and Karl's engagement and insists on throwing a party, despite Stella pointing out that they have no money.

Having done the sums, Owen tells Anna that he has little choice but to accept Stella's offer of half the pub, as the alternative is bankruptcy. However, when Owen arrives in the Bistro to see penniless Stella drinking fizz, he issues her with a shocking ultimatum…

Meanwhile, David is too tired to concentrate at work and accidentally snips Dennis's ear. Audrey sends David home, but he insists on doing Kylie's shift at the Bistro. However, when David has a funny turn and drops a glass, Nick makes a call to Kylie.

Elsewhere, Gary assures Izzy that he'll look for another job so that she can stay at home when the baby arrives. Gary and Izzy later have tea with Tina, but as she watches Gary and Tina enjoying each other's company, can Izzy hide her jealousy?

Also today, when Tim brings Faye round to Number 6 for her breakfast, Anna is quietly concerned that he is not looking after her properly.

Finally, against Sylvia's wishes, Hayley hands Roy the letter from his father, but Hayley is taken aback by Roy's reaction.

Friday

Concerned that David is doing too much, Audrey insists that he takes the day off.

Later, David takes Max and Joseph to the park, but as they feed the ducks, David suddenly starts to convulse and has an epileptic fit. As David lies unconscious, will Max be able to help?

Meanwhile, Stella tries to apologise to Owen, explaining how Gloria paid for the drinks. However, Owen refuses to listen and tells her that she'll be hearing from his solicitor. Under pressure, Stella makes a shock decision.

Elsewhere, Izzy is perturbed when she discovers £200 missing from their bank account. Gary lies, claiming that he paid for some building materials. However, when Izzy quizzes Owen, it's clear that he has no idea what she's talking about. Will Gary confess to spending the money on Tina's dad's wedding ring?

Also, as Faye gets herself ready for school, she is upset that Tim has forgotten to wash her PE kit. Calling in at the café, she confides in Anna, who invites her to Number 6 for tea.

Finally, Hayley retrieves the letter from St John from the bin and encourages Roy to read it. Will he have a change of heart?

Max fails to wake David, but finds his mobile and phones Nick. Nick races to the park, arriving just as David regains consciousness.

Back on the street, David worries about the future. However, after a visit to the doctor, Nick and Kylie promise to help him every step of the way. As David thanks them for being the best brother and wife anyone could wish for, will he sense their unease?

Meanwhile, Izzy and Gary continue to row as Gary insists the only reason he spent £200 on Tina was to show his gratitude. Will a jealous Izzy be convinced, or is there more to it?

Elsewhere, desperate to earn some money, Stella tells Nick that she'd like to apply for the position of cleaner at the Bistro.

Also, Hayley tells Roy that St. John is not well and it would be a shame if Roy failed to get in touch and St. John died. Roy has mixed emotions.

Finally, Anna gives Faye her tea and does her washing. Owen is unimpressed and angrily points out Tim's shortcomings, telling him that he's not fit to be a full-time dad.

An angry Izzy Armstrong has some tough questions to ask in Coronation Street this evening (May 10) as she discovers that her partner Gary Windass has lied to her.

Gary recently spent £200 on buying back Tina McIntyre's ring after it was stolen from her flat, and tonight's episodes see Izzy (Cherylee Houston) finally realise that the money is missing from their joint bank account.

Confronted over the mystery, Gary (Mikey North) initially claims that he had to buy some building materials at work. However, his cover story is quickly blown when Owen denies all knowledge of this.

When Gary finally tells the truth about the cost of the ring, Izzy is appalled over his deception and furiously accuses him of having feelings for Tina. With an awkward Tina watching on, how will Gary react to the suggestion?
