Neighbours actress Teressa Liane has returned to the soap to film more scenes as feisty Rhiannon Bates.

Liane was pictured back on set last week with co-star Taylor Glockner, who plays Rhiannon's ex-boyfriend Mason Turner.

A Neighbours spokesperson told Digital Spy today (July 29): "As one of our recurring guest characters, Rhiannon will pop in and out of the show."

Meanwhile, Liane tweeted: "Thank you to my gorgeous, loyal Rhiannon fans!! So much love going out to you all. #staytuned."

Exact details of what brings Rhiannon back to Ramsay Street have yet to be disclosed.

Rhiannon appeared on Neighbours for a month-long stint earlier this year, which began when she arrived in Erinsborough to rekindle her romance with Mason.

When Rhiannon learned that Mason had moved on from their relationship, she formed an unlikely friendship with Sheila Canning (Colette Mann) and caused trouble for Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).
