New Girl is to return to E4 in the UK later this month.

The second season of the Zooey Deschanel sitcom is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, March 26 - though dates are still subject to change.

E4's latest US import The Mindy Project - which stars The Office's Mindy Kaling - will also make its UK debut on the same night.

New Girl was recently picked up for a third season by US broadcaster Fox, while The Mindy Project will also return for a second run.

Hollywood star Seth Rogen is among the guest stars on The Mindy Project's first season, while the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis, Olivia Munn and Brooklyn Decker all appear in the latest New Girl episodes.
