Meanwhile, Emmerdale's Jai Sharma returns to the village later this month - just as his wife Charity is battling to keep her infidelity under wraps.

Charity (Emma Atkins) recently slept with Declan Macey as both of their marriages were on the rocks, but the mistake comes back to haunt her when Cameron Murray finds out what she's been up to.

Cameron (Dominic Power) uncovers the truth when he picks up on the strange atmosphere between Charity and Declan. Quick to show his new-found advantage, Cameron winds Charity up about what he knows.

When Jai (Chris Bisson) arrives back following his business trip, he apologises to Charity for everything that happened before his departure - admitting that he wasn't thinking straight and wants to start again.

Charity is relieved that there is still a chance for her and Jai, but she is also deeply concerned as she knows that her future now lies in Cameron's hands.

Enjoying every moment of this, Cameron advises Charity to start being nicer to him until he's decided what to do…

Monday

Bob is left despairing as Brenda won't talk to him, still insisting that she won't have the surgery. Rodney finds Brenda alone and upset, but she covers that she is just tired and Rodney suspects that working with Bob is the cause of her sadness. However, when Brenda does another disappearing act later, Gennie decides to tell Rodney the truth. Rodney is left reeling to hear that Brenda has a brain tumour.

Eventually Bob finds Brenda alone in the church and she is clearly deeply upset. He assures her that he is sticking by her, if she will let him. However, Brenda wants Bob to leave her alone so she can think. Later, Bob urges Brenda to understand that he loves her and is not letting her go. Brenda still refuses to have the operation, but Bob explains that he will be with her to face whatever happens together.

Meanwhile, Kerry is gutted that she couldn't persuade her daughter to stay, while Amy is troubled over how Kerry handled her moving out. When Moira calls Andy in to work, Kerry is fed up to be babysitting again, telling Andy that she was planning on going to the job centre. Kerry calls Amy asking her to come round as she is bored but Amy declines, which hurts her feelings.

Elsewhere, Edna is anxious as she returns home and hesitantly goes into her house. Edna is pleased to get a visit from Sandy, who tells her about being refused housing. He exclaims how lucky she is to have the place to herself, hinting about moving in, but she doesn't ask him to. Despite her refusal to accept help, it's clear that Edna remains anxious about living alone.

Also today, Vanessa is delighted to keep her job but Paddy says there are conditions attached, Bernice urges Ashley to make a fuss of Sandy's birthday, Charity is thrown to hear that Jai is coming home and says that she's not ruling out getting back with him, while Rachel wants to go away for a break with Sam to avoid Jai's return.

Tuesday

Rishi is pleased that Charity wants to make a fresh start with Jai. However, Cameron is aware that there's something going on with Charity and Declan. He is curious to see Charity follow Declan outside. Charity tells Declan that she is not going to mention anything to Jai about them and how it was a stupid mistake. Cameron watches their exchange, intrigued.

Later, Cameron enjoys his newfound power over Charity, biding his time over what he saw between the pair. As he winds her up, Charity begins to worry…

Meanwhile, Amy is determined not to let her mum spoil things now that she has moved into the B&B, but she suspects that Kerry is bored. Kerry later admits that she is sick of having to babysit. She is later forced into looking after the kids again, and Kerry tells Amy that she needs a job or she'll lose her mind. Despite Sarah's affection for her, Kerry is determined to find a job fast.

Elsewhere, when Sandy pays another visit, Edna finally admits that she is struggling living alone. Edna is full of doubts when Sandy suggests being her lodger, protesting that she doesn't think it's practical, but Sandy assures her that it makes sense. Finally Edna relents, agreeing to let Sandy move in.

Also today, Gennie is counting on Bob to persuade Brenda to have the operation but Brenda is adamant that she's not having it, while Alicia's next project is a wedding brochure with pictures of a gorgeous couple - and Priya offers to model alongside David.

Wednesday

Declan is worried to hear from Charity that Cameron knows about their night together. Charity insists that she can keep him quiet, but Declan worries that Katie will find out. Soon afterwards, Cameron enjoys winding Charity up and she admits that she did sleep with Declan. Panicking as Jai is home already, Charity asks Cameron what destroying her marriage will achieve, but Cameron suggests that she could start by being nice to him until he's decided what to do.

Later, Jai arrives at the pub while Declan tries to talk to Cameron. Declan is thrown when Katie invites Jai and Charity over for dinner tomorrow. Charity is pleased that Jai is home and wants to talk to him, which leaves Declan worried. Charity and Jai are reunited as Jai tells her that he wasn't thinking straight and wants to try again. However, Charity is thrown when Jai accepts Katie's invite, aware that her future now lies in Cameron's hands…

Meanwhile, Kerry tells Andy that she can't look after the kids as she is going to the job centre. Kerry is glum as she asks David and Rishi for a job and they both refuse, but Rishi is unimpressed when Kerry visits later and Jai agrees to give her a trial at the factory. Kerry feigns regret as she tells Andy about the job and says she won't be able to have the kids as much.

Elsewhere, Megan warns Robbie that Debbie will ditch him when she's had enough, Laurel is trying to plan a birthday party for Sandy but is shocked when Sandy drops a bombshell, while Alicia covers her disappointment when a delighted Priya tells her that David has agreed to the photo shoot.

Thursday

Cameron blackmails Charity by telling her to make it up with Chas and get Debbie to lay off her. Later at Home Farm, Charity overcompensates with Katie as she and Jai arrive for dinner. Declan warns Charity about confessing to Jai, saying it's their word against Cameron's and she'll destroy Jai if he finds out.

At dinner, Katie announces that she and Declan are trying IVF, but Declan apologises, thinking it might be a touchy subject for Charity and Jai. The pressure gets to Charity, who suddenly leaves. She tells Declan that she can't lie to Jai, but he warns her to keep this out of his and Katie's marriage. Charity makes her excuses and leaves, with Jai dashing after her. Outside, Jai is left reeling when Charity tells him her confession…

Meanwhile, at the photo shoot, Alicia is shocked when an angry Priya storms in, covered in a facial rash from the make-up. Priya is hysterical when Alicia is asked to stand in for her. David is speechless at how beautiful Alicia looks and they share a charged look as they have to kiss for the photo. Later, David lies when Priya asks if he had to kiss Alicia, but she is suspicious.

Elsewhere, Sandy packs for his move to Edna's, Belle becomes interested when she hears that Thomas will be at Sandy's party, while Sean feels hopeless as he watches Thomas with Belle.

Fresh from Charity's revelation, Jai storms back to see Declan, wanting to hear what he has to say. As they return, Declan worries that Jai is going to tell Katie, who is upstairs. Jai confronts Declan, while Charity does her best to explain that it was nothing. Jai leaves abruptly and Declan is left wondering where they stand and whether Jai will tell Katie after all. With the commotion, Katie come downstairs confused over their strange behaviour.

Back home, Jai lets Rishi know the truth, while Charity continues to plead with Jai as she hopes for another chance. Later, Jai gets a call on his mobile from Declan and throws the phone at Charity. Declan calls again as the pair argue further. Charity finally picks the phone up and throws it across the room, smashing it. Desperate, Declan leaves a voicemail, wanting to know what Jai is going to do. Charity tells Jai that it's up to him where they go from here, but she loves him.

Elsewhere, Priya is dreading seeing David and Alicia on the brochures together and thinks David should put a stop to them being printed. David later asks Alicia to prevent the photos being published. Alicia says she will ask.

Also, Belle and Gemma are determined to go to Sandy's party, while Sandy arrives home drunk and Edna warns that he needs to respect her otherwise he won't be there long.

Friday

Jai has slept on the sofa after his row with Charity, but she continues to plead with him by saying that she just wants an honest relationship and that's why she came clean. Soon afterwards, Charity tells Cameron that Jai now knows the truth. Cameron threatens to tell Katie, but is powerless when Charity says that she doesn't care.

At the factory, Rishi is bemused when Jai tells him that he can now tell Charity the truth about Rachel and Archie, believing their marriage will survive anything. Rishi warns his son about telling her, but Jai is determined they could make a fresh start once it's out in the open.

Outside the pub, Declan tries to give Cameron some money, hoping they have come to an understanding. At the same time, Jai finally answers Charity's call and tells her that he's coming home, wanting to talk to her. However, his face darkens when Declan pleads with him not to tell Katie, explaining about Cameron's blackmailing. Jai is angry to realise the reason Charity confessed. With this new information, will he tell Charity about his secret?

Meanwhile, Alicia worries when Megan is determined to publish the images in their brochures. David is frustrated and has a go at Alicia, who feels rejected and hurt as she tells him that he and Priya signed the consent forms so there's nothing more she can do. Later, Megan is angry when Alicia refuses to sign the consent forms and David realises his feelings for Alicia are growing.

Elsewhere, Sandy's birthday party is under way and Lisa is suspicious of why Belle has gone to so much effort, Sean is gutted to see Belle and Thomas kiss, while Katie is wary as she tells Declan that the IVF clinic can see them tomorrow.
