Hollyoaks' Sinead O'Connor will put the life of her unborn baby at risk after she is injured in a fall.

Sinead, played by Stephanie Davis, will accept a job at Price Slice and falls while cleaning the shop windows, the Daily Star reports.

Sinead falls and lands on the pavement.

Viewers have already seen the teenager deal with the aftermath of discovering her pregnancy, and in the wake of the accident she will confide in Cindy Cunningham that she wants an abortion.

While others will be worried about the health of the teenager's unborn baby, viewers will see Sinead plead with hospital medics for help.

A Hollyoaks insider said: "Sinead is going through all sorts of emotions when she falls from the ladder.

"But ultimately she realises that if she had lost her baby then all her worries would be over. The bottom line is she does not want the child.

"She's young and doesn't want the responsibility of becoming a mum.

"Sinead confides in Cindy, of all people, and even goes as far as booking an abortion after she gets the all-clear from the hospital. Cindy had Holly when she was a teenager, so she can relate to what Sinead is going through and suggests adoption.

"It's then that Sinead decides to give her stepmum first call on the baby.

"Diane is beside herself. All she has ever wanted is a baby of her own, and after a number of failed attempts at IVF she gave up. This is going to be huge for both of them."

These scenes are set to air at the beginning of next month.

Hollyoaks sixth former Ruby Button discovers that forgiveness won't come easily as she returns to college next week.

Ruby (Anna Shaffer) was recently suspended by headteacher Patrick Blake for her relentless bullying of Esther Bloom, who made a suicide attempt in January as her torment became too much to bear.

Although Ruby tries to get back to normal in the coming days, it's clear that some of her fellow students aren't ready to forgive and forget her appalling behaviour.

Phoebe Jackson (Mandip Gill) is the first to warn Ruby that nobody will be making life easy for her when she returns to college.

Following some advice from John Paul McQueen (James Sutton), a remorseful Ruby tries to make amends by organising a bake sale at college - but her posters are soon defaced with abuse directed towards her.

John Paul continues to help out Ruby when she burns all of her cakes, joining forces with new love interest Doug Carter (PJ Brennan) to salvage the situation. Can Ruby win a second chance from her peers?

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Monday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 6 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
