Why has coronation street turned into PORN, brothers sleeping with brother's partners (go on, say "that's what we normal standard English folk do") pregnant women sleeping with random men on their street (go on... say it "shut up, its normal to not have any morals and depict a woman who's not only with child but the imaginary child is being poked at by another man's imaginary love length"). Go on, say it, ITS NORMAL!!! Why are soups all about showcasing the worst that our species can possibly be, portraying this as FACT and then condone these stereotypes? Why would watching the soft core filth make anyone feel any better about their life?! Ill Lesbians turning their carers or doctors GAY because as we all know, "its impossible for a gay person be friends with someone without someone within that friendship questioning their sexuality" CASE IN POINT MARCUS!!!!, Why is it that all the people of ethnic backgrounds have to stay within this confined bubble known only in the soup world as the "interbreeding relationship", never dating outside of their race as well as "the lower class token friend"?

Why is it the show glorifies a Big Brother mentality where sticking your noes in someone else's business just because you share the same local pub is "NORMAL"? why are people constantly dating, marrying and ONLY having sex as well as a social life with people who ONLY live on a street set in one of the largest cities in the country???? Why do people support a propaganda tool that implores people to act, think and behave in a certain way??? Oh by-the-way the actor who plays Kevin Webster was charged with 19 child sex offences.

The show sexualizes all the younger females and teenagers, portraying them to the younger viewers as "pioneers!!" because "yes, you TOO can get a council house and not have to work another day in your life if you just keep on your BACK and keep those LEGS OPEN!"

Most of the women in the show haven't achieved a thing in their lives and the ones that do NEED, they just NEED an abusive neglectful or violent man in their life to make them worth looking at.

If you could read between the lines, just look and see what this show is trying to subconsciously plant not only in our but our children's mind, alarm bells would be ringing.

Its funny isn't it how all this vile filth is shown throughout the day as well

Its a soap bubble.. you can't have a show that interacts with everyone and everywhere. This stuff happens all over the UK and the world but the tv show can only confine it to one place. Like the way in EE everyone gets a job in Walford. Even the postman can come and go as he pleases. If they involved more people and places it would be called the news.

Because its a soap. Its not meant to be reality. Why would someone want to watch somethong just like real life. I habe enough going on in my own life without seeing it on tv. Its a good bit of escapism. So what if all the characters intermingle. Would be impossible to show people in all locations. A set is only a certain size.

Its obvious soaps arent true to life. For starters id love a house like the Barlows. So small from thr outsode yet it fits all those people in it!! We are always pushed for space here!!!

Why have you registered with this Forum if you are so against soaps? You seem very familiar with the story lines even though you portray so much vitriol. Are you tied to a chair with your eyes propped open and forced to watch? No? Why not turn the TV off or change the channel? On here we like pretending it's true, we all know it's not. But Corrie in particular does have large chunks of humour in addition to highlighting topics of interest that don't necessarily get talked about - husband abuse for one.
