Coming up on EastEnders, Patrick Trueman questions his future in Walford after suffering a nasty accident.
The storyline kicks off when Patrick (Rudolph Walker) gets annoyed with Kim Fox for asking Joey Branning to help fix a curtain rail at the B&B.
Patrick points out that he can carry out the task himself, but everyone around him insists that he should be taking it easy these days.
Determined to prove that he is perfectly capable, Patrick tries to finish off the curtain rail task - but his efforts backfire badly when he suffers a fall from the top of a ladder.
Later at the hospital, an injured Patrick is in a bad state as he has his arm in a cast and his leg wrapped in a foam support.
When Patrick is asked about the care and support that he can expect once he is discharged, he is concerned to hear that Kim and Denise wrote down his son Anthony's name as next of kin rather than themselves.
As a result, Patrick questions whether he should go to live with Anthony. Will he stay or leave Walford?

Monday
It's a big day for Bianca as her probation officer is due to pay a visit today, and it's also her first trading day on the market with Kat. The atmosphere is chaotic at the Butcher house as Liam can't find his tatty trainers and needs money for a school trip, while Morgan, Tiffany and Whitney all have demands and problems of their own.
Fortunately for Bianca, she defies the odds when things go really well with the probation officer, who is very pleased with how she is doing. However, once he has left, things quickly turn sour for Bianca as Liam brings the police to the front door. The officers explain that Liam has been truanting from school with some mates, and they warn Bianca that she could be fined or sent to prison if this behaviour is regularly repeated…
Meanwhile, there's a gloomy mood at the Masood household following Zainab's departure from Albert Square. Masood encourages Tamwar to concentrate on his dreams and go to university, but Tamwar insists that he doesn't want £40,000 of debt.
Later, Tamwar isn't impressed when Masood suggests that he should go for a part-time market assistant job which is currently being advertised. Tamwar's upset over losing his mum then becomes apparent with an angry tirade, but Masood comes up with a solution as they have a heart-to-heart. Masood promises that if Tamwar speaks to Lister about the job, he'll match his earnings pound by pound to get him to university.
Elsewhere, Roxy isn't happy when she finds out that Alfie gave Kat a loan to get the market stall started, but Alfie insists that it was the right thing to do. Later, Kirsty comes into The Vic wanting her old job back, but Roxy turns her away and the two women end up arguing. In the café, Patrick gives Kirsty food for thought by suggesting that she should take a softer approach to getting her job back. Will this work?
Also today, Denise is upset that Zainab won't be coming back to work, Kat feels lonely and calls Alfie on the pretence of Tommy having a temperature, while Lola feels down after making a mistake at work but Poppy buoys her up by promising to speak to Tanya about giving her an apprenticeship.

Thursday
Bianca is trying to deal with the Liam situation by accompanying him to and from school, and she warns her son that he's not to leave the house until his behaviour improves. Soon afterwards, Bianca heads to the stall and surprises Kat by stuffing all of the dresses into bin bags. She explains that it turns out her friend has supplied them with stolen goods, and someone has grassed them up. Bianca is adamant that they have to get rid of all the dodgy items, as she is terrified of ending up back in prison.
Later, Bianca and Kat head to the R&R for a night out. Kat gets chatting to a group of men, which doesn't go unnoticed by Alfie, who is also at the club alongside Roxy. In the end, Roxy storms off when Alfie looks over at Kat one time too many. Not long afterwards, Bianca is horrified when she spots that Kirsty is wearing one of the stolen dresses from the stall. She tries to ask Kirsty for the dress back, but as an argument ensues, Bianca is forced to leave it as she can't reveal the reason for the strange request.
When Bianca and Kat finally call it a night at the club, they bump into some rowdy lads outside and are shocked to see that Liam is among them. Bianca brings her son home, but the nasty surprises are only just beginning as she finds the police there waiting for her. The officers inform Bianca that the security guard who was attacked during the robbery of the dresses is in a coma, and her name has come up during the investigation...
Meanwhile, Patrick is in hospital following his fall. His arm is in a cast and his leg is wrapped in a foam support. When asked about the care he can rely on outside of hospital, Patrick is concerned when he realises that Denise and Kim wrote down Anthony as his next of kin rather than themselves. Back at the B&B, however, Denise is telling Kim that they must visit Patrick that afternoon as he's the only man in their life who currently needs their attention.
Elsewhere, Jay and Abi celebrate Valentine's Day together. One thing leads to another for the couple when Abi reveals that she wants them to sleep together for the first time.
Also today, Jack helps Sharon out behind the bar at the R&R as he wants to spend more time with her, while Max is disappointed when he tries to give Abi a Valentine's card as he always does and she refuses to accept it.
Friday
It's early morning, and Kat is greeted by Alfie as she steps out of the police station. She then explains the situation to him in Joanna's Café and is grateful for his support. When they head back to the Square, Kat gives Alfie a kiss on the cheek and he is left dreading what's in store as Roxy will want to know where he's been all night. When it comes to the crunch, Alfie lies to Roxy by claiming that he's been out walking all night.
Soon afterwards, Kat and Bianca resolve to open up for business as usual. However, Bianca soon receives a phone call informing her that Liam hasn't turned up for school yet again. When Bianca goes to meet Liam's teacher, she finds out that he's been disappearing from school after register each morning. Back at home, Bianca pleads with Liam and with Carol's help, he promises to go to school from now on. Is the trouble over?
Meanwhile, Alfie spends even more time away from Roxy when he gets dragged off to the car lot office by Max and Jack, who are looking for some time away from the women in their lives. As they sit drinking in the office, they talk about relationships. At the same time, Kat approaches Roxy and apologises for calling Alfie the night before, explaining that she didn't know who else to turn to. When Alfie returns home, he finds that Roxy is furious over his lies. In the end, Alfie concedes that he can't carry on like this and promises that he's come to a decision…
Elsewhere, Jack is upset with Sharon as he feels she was rude to Kirsty at the R&R last night. Jack wants Sharon to make more of an effort, and isn't satisfied when she tells Kirsty that she's prepared to nod and smile but that's about it. Jack spends most of the day avoiding Sharon, unaware that she has been busy recreating Valentine's Day at the flat. By the time Jack returns home, Sharon has got fed up and left. Jack reads a note left for him and is concerned by what it says. He makes his way to Phil's where Sharon is - Phil is back from his short holiday…
Also today, Alice tries to make it up to Michael by sneaking into his house and preparing a meal for him, Whitney announces that she got the job at the play centre, Dot urges Patrick to speak to Kim and Denise about taking care of him, and Michael finally agrees to give Alice her job back but warns her never to trespass on his property again.

This is the moment that EastEnders' Bianca Butcher gets a nasty shock as her son Liam brings the police back to her door.
Bianca (Patsy Palmer) is celebrating after a successful meeting with her probation officer when she receives the unwelcome visitors early next week.
Viewers will see Bianca left horrified when the officers explain that Liam (James Forde) has been truanting from school with some of his friends.
To make matters worse, Bianca is warned that she could be fined or even sent to prison if Liam continues to behave this way.

The next day, Liam ignores his mum's disapproval and skips school once again.
When Bianca finds this out, she realises that his antics need to be addressed immediately.
Bianca initially takes a calm approach by making Liam's favourite dinner and trying to talk to him, but he challenges her by asking what she can really do about his truanting.
As a blazing row follows, Liam declares that Bianca knows nothing about him after being in prison for half his life - before complaining about her struggles to provide for the family.

Completely losing her temper, Bianca flies at Liam and pins him up against the wall - until they are interrupted by a shocked Carol.
In the days that follow, Bianca tries to get Liam back on the right track with help from Carol, and he eventually promises to start attending school again.
However, with Liam's gang storyline ahead, it's clear that Bianca's troubles with her 14-year-old son are only just beginning…
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, February 11 and Tuesday, February 12 on BBC One.
EastEnders' Kat Moon turns to estranged husband Alfie for support next week as she faces trouble with the law.
Kat (Jessie Wallace) asks Alfie to come down to the police station as she is questioned over stolen goods which have found their way onto her new market stall, all thanks to a mistake made by Bianca Butcher.
When Kat is finally released after a whole night in custody, she is greeted by a concerned Alfie (Shane Richie) as she comes out of the station.
The former couple then discuss the situation properly at Joanna's Café, with Kat clearly grateful for Alfie's continued loyalty in her time of need.

EastEnders star Rudolph Walker has admitted that his injury storyline is making him more "cautious" in real life.
Earlier this week, viewers saw the actor's character Patrick Trueman suffer a nasty fall from a ladder at the B&B.
With a period of rehabilitation now ahead for Patrick, he will need care and support from Fox sisters Kim and Denise at home as his mobility will be seriously restricted.
Walker, 73, told Inside Soap of the story: "In a strange sort of way, it was a reality check for me personally. I'm okay, but I have a very close friend who had a member of their family suffer from the same sort of thing as Patrick.
"At 70-plus, you can still be fairly active, but to be struck down with illness so suddenly can leave you feeling very vulnerable and alone.
"It's not a case of taking things easier, but just being more careful. If I'm walking through the streets of London with all the snow and ice we've had recently, I find myself being more cautious.
"But I still do what I want within reason, and I'm very active. I play tennis, and some cricket when the season comes around."
Walker predicted that it won't take too long for Patrick to return to his old self, despite the current change in his circumstances.
He said: "I'm sure Patrick will bounce back. There are still a lot of laughs left in him. And even in his current condition, it won't stop him wheeling into The Vic and making a nuisance of himself!"
EastEnders continues tonight (February 14) at 7.30pm on BBC One.
EastEnders' Bianca Butcher faces an unpleasant surprise next month, discovering that her son Liam is involved with a gang of thugs who have beaten up Tamwar Masood.
Tamwar (Himesh Patel) is attacked and has his money belt stolen as he continues to work at the Walford market in early March.
Magazine reports have revealed that a gang of youths target Tamwar in the attack after he tries to stand up to them when they start causing trouble at the market.
Tamwar's mugging shocks the local community, but when gang leader Kane (Harry Rafferty) later hands over the money belt and a cut of the cash to Liam (James Forde), it's clear that Bianca's teenage son may be helping the troublemakers.
Bianca (Patsy Palmer) is oblivious to Liam's dark situation for a while, and even hopes things are looking up for him when she gets a letter from the school praising his 'recent good behaviour'.

Liam with the gang.
Unfortunately, Bianca's positive attitude doesn't last for long as she later discovers a collection of blank sheets displaying the school letterhead in his room - showing that Liam faked the good behaviour note.
To make matters worse, Tamwar's money belt has also been stashed away in Liam's room. Realising that he may have had some involvement in the mugging, how will Bianca react?
