Neighbours newcomer Taylor Glockner has given his first TV interview about his role as Mason Turner.

Mason will arrive on screen in Australia next month as part of the new family who are heading to Erinsborough.

Appearing on Eleven's Couch Time segment, Glockner explained: "I've been filming for about five or six weeks, and then we broke for Christmas. [We're] about to go back."

Revealing that a shirtless Mason meets Kate Ramsay in some of his first scenes, he continued: "My first day was great. I think my first day on Ramsay Street was working with Ashleigh Brewer.

"I had my shirt actually off that day, for my first day! I was working with her and that was all fun."

Glockner also said that Mason gives his sister Amber (Jenna Rosenow) "a lot of stick" and has "a few issues" with his dad Matt (Josef Brown).

Neighbours' UK fans meet the final member of the Turner family next week as Mason arrives in Erinsborough.

Bad boy Mason, played by Taylor Glockner, was unable to join the rest of the clan when they moved to Ramsay Street earlier this month as he was locked away in juvenile detention.

Lauren (Kate Kendall) and Matt (Josef Brown) receive a shock next Monday (March 25) when they learn that Mason was actually released days ago but hasn't shown up.

Fearing that his son is up to no good once again, Matt is furious over his disappearing act, while Lauren hopes there is an innocent explanation.

However, just as the couple are disagreeing about Mason, he finally walks through the door of Number 32. Matt demands to know where he's been, but Lauren is just happy to have her boy home.

Lauren welcomes Mason back.

Later, in a seemingly heartfelt speech, Mason promises that he's finally turned over a new leaf and won't be causing any more trouble.

Lauren is delighted to think that the family can finally make a fresh start, but Mason's true feelings soon come out when he's alone with his dad.

Full of anger, Mason vows that he'll never forgive Matt for putting him in prison, which he regards as the ultimate betrayal. Can father and son ever get past this?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, March 25 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Mason Turner will soon receive a surprise as his ex-girlfriend Rhiannon turns up in Erinsborough unexpectedly.

Mason is just making progress with his pursuit of Kate Ramsay (Ashleigh Brewer) when the sudden arrival of Rhiannon throws a spanner in the works.

Viewers will see Mason finally find a way to win over Kate when he discovers some songs composed by her sister Sophie following her move to a new school.

Taylor Glockner, who plays Mason, told TV Week: "He's been doing everything to impress her, including taking his shirt off at every opportunity. He tries a more heartfelt approach and downloads some of Sophie's tracks and gives them to Kate on a CD."

Surprised by the gesture, Kate invites Mason to join her at Georgia Brooks's birthday drinks. However, when Mason attends the gathering, he is shocked to come face-to-face with Rhiannon.

Rhiannon has travelled to Erinsborough as she doesn't seem to realise that her relationship with Mason is over.

Although Mason tries to set Rhiannon straight, he soon needs her on his side when he discovers that she knows where his friend-turned-foe Robbo Slade is holed up.

Not long afterwards, Kate is extremely unimpressed to see Mason kissing Rhiannon, fearing that he was only ever leading her on.

Glockner added: "He kisses [Rhiannon] to get information out of her, and he is prepared to go as far as he needs to - but Kate is the one he has genuine feelings for."

Neighbours airs these scenes next week in Australia and early May on Channel 5 in the UK.

Neighbours' UK fans were introduced to the final member of the Turner clan last week as bad boy Mason joined the rest of his family on Ramsay Street.

Having just been released from juvenile detention, viewers can expect a busy time ahead for Mason in the next few weeks as he pursues Kate Ramsay (Ashleigh Brewer) and risks slipping back to his old ways with old friend Robbo Slade in town.

We recently chatted to Taylor Glockner, who plays Mason, to hear about his experience joining Neighbours and what's to come.

How do you feel about joining a show as iconic as Neighbours?
"Extremely privileged! Neighbours is a great show, and a fantastic opportunity for me as an actor."

Are you aware of how popular the show is in the UK?
"I sure am. I'd love to visit some time!"

What can you tell us about your previous acting work? Do you see Neighbours as your big break as an actor?
"I've been pretty lucky to work steadily since finishing acting school at 19. I'd call [previous project] Conspiracy 365 my break as a supporting character, and Neighbours my big break into a leading role."

What was the audition process for Neighbours like?
"Creating the role of Mason was a very interesting process. After Conspiracy 365 wrapped, I auditioned for a couple of guest characters. Soon after, I learned that instead of a guest role, the producers wanted to develop a more long-term character specifically for me. I was humbled and thrilled at the same time."

How do you describe Mason?
"I think deep down Mason's definitely a good kid. He's just lost his way a little bit recently and he's faced the consequences. At the end of the day, he loves his family and would do ANYTHING to protect them. He's smart, funny, serious, angry, caring, playful... and his cheekiness is particularly fun to play."

Have the writers given you much room to put your own stamp on the character?
"They absolutely have! I try to improvise and bring things to any character I play, but the writers have always gifted Mason with so much great material, I'd say 90% of what I need is already in the text. So from that point it's my job to properly analyse the script and bring as much truth as possible to every moment.

"Mason is almost a different emotion every day I play him! It's incredibly fun to do and I'm always learning. I'm extremely grateful - how many other young actors get an opportunity like this?"

Did you find it strange to join the show two weeks after the rest of the Turner family?
"Not really. Everyone in the cast and crew were so supportive, I felt welcome from the first day! In terms of character, I think it's kinda cool Mason was held up for two weeks. He's that kind of guy - making the late appearance at the party."

Mason has quite a happy family life, so why has he found himself on a bit of a troubled path?
"Robbo Slade - Mason's once best friend, now sworn enemy. Mason's fallen into the wrong crowd recently, and he'll be facing the consequences for quite some time. There's some great stuff between Mason and Robbo - played by Aaron Jakubenko, a top actor and my good mate - in future storylines! So wait till you see it!"

Do you hope Mason keeps his more rebellious edge?
"Totally! I love his hard, rebellious edge. It's part of who he is. It often works playing Mason with that chiselled element, because it really accentuates his moments of pain and vulnerability."

As Taylor, do you think Matt made the right decision by sending Mason to juvie to teach him a lesson?
"As Taylor, yes! As Mason, no! Haha. I think if you do the crime, you do the time. Mason was involved in so much mischief, at some point he has to stand up and be held accountable for his actions. When we first meet him in Erinsborough he's very broken and he's carrying a lot of frustration and resentment, particularly towards Matt."

Will Mason ever be able to forgive Matt for what he's done?
"I think so - anger is love disappointed. At the beginning, Mason is very hurt and confused. But when Robbo arrives, Mason and Matt learn to overcome their differences pretty quickly. There's a point when they realise they have bigger things to worry about than their own issues, and they have to work together to protect their family."

Mason has been flirting quite a bit with Kate Ramsay. Do you think those two would make quite a good match, or is Mason too young for Kate?
"Haha, I think they'd make a great match. Ashleigh Brewer is heaps of fun to work with! Mason is definitely no angel, his past is dark. Maybe a young woman like Kate is just what he needs to get his life in order! You'll have to wait and see."

Who have you made friends with on set?
"Everyone! Everyone's great! I've learned so much already and had some great laughs. Working with this cast and crew is an absolute blast."

Do the Turners spend any time socialising with each other off set?
"Sometimes we see each other out and about, but some work days we can spend up to 14 hours on set. Off set we're usually spending time with family, studying our new scenes, sleeping, or doing the washing!"

Do the older cast members offer you any advice?
"For sure, actually I go asking for advice! It's great to know they're always open for a chat if any of us ever get stuck!"

Would you ever join Twitter to interact with the Neighbours fanbase on there?
"I have a Facebook page that I check and update regularly. Fans are totally welcome to leave a message or say hello! I'll always reply when I can!"

You've mentioned in previous interviews how you keep having to take your shirt off for scenes! Do you feel any pressure to stay in shape for the role?
"Haha! I enjoy changing my body for each role, so I don't feel too much pressure. It's a great reason to stay fit and healthy!"

Can you give us any final hints on what you're filming at the moment?
"I'm not sure how much I can reveal! Mason's really having a lot of fun with life at the moment. He seems to have overcome his past for now, and everything is running smoothly... but I have a feeling he's going to be tested again very soon!

Neighbours bad boy Mason Turner faces a tricky situation on UK screens next month as his clingy ex-girlfriend Rhiannon Bates arrives in Erinsborough.

Mason, played by Taylor Glockner, had considered his romance with Rhiannon to be well and truly over. However, it seems that she's unaware of this as she attempts to pick up where they left off.

Although Mason initially tries to get rid of Rhiannon (Teressa Liane), he realises that she may have useful information about where Robbo is following his disappearing act. With this in mind, Mason tries to keep Rhiannon on side by pretending to still be interested in her.

As Mason shares an intimate moment with Rhiannon to get her talking about Robbo, Kate Ramsay (Ashleigh Brewer) witnesses the whole thing. Has Mason blown his chances with Kate after weeks of pursuing her?

Kate sees Mason and Rhiannon.

Mason's main concern about Robbo is a threatening letter that the villain has seemingly sent to his dad Matt. However, Rhiannon eventually admits that she was the one who sent the note.

Rhiannon explains that she was only trying to defend her 'boyfriend' after he told her that he'd been treated badly by his father.

Having secured all the information he needs from Rhiannon, Mason is finally honest with her by admitting that he doesn't love her. He suggests that she should head back home to Mt Isa, but he may not be able to get rid of Rhiannon so easily!

Neighbours star Taylor Glockner has revealed that his character Mason Turner's heart will always belong to Kate Ramsay, despite the fact that a new love interest might be on the horizon.

Mason and Kate's (Ashleigh Brewer) relationship comes under fire following the return of Kate's former boyfriend Mark Brennan. Their break-up pushes Kate closer to Kyle and Mason closer to newcomer Imogen.

Glockner said to TV Week: "There is so much in store for Mason, it's crazy. I think there may be a new relationship on the horizon for him, despite the fact that his heart belongs to Kate.

"There is definitely more to come with Kate. They have a great dynamic - they annoy each other as much as they make each other happy."

Glockner also admitted that he has great fun playing his character Mason.

He said: "He is a bit of a lost puppy and he is very impulsive. He might not make the best choices, but it is always from the right place. He's really cheeky and it's so much fun to play him like that."

Neighbours fans will see a new side to Mason Turner when Rhiannon Bates makes her return to the show.

Teressa Liane is currently back on set filming another stint as feisty Rhiannon, who will be accompanied by her son Jackson this time around.

With Mason sharing more scenes with his ex-girlfriend, he quickly becomes protective over Jackson.

Taylor Glockner, who plays Mason, commented: "Mason sort of becomes a de facto father to Jackson. So we're going to be seeing a very different side of Mason - a more vulnerable side, different from the façade that he put on of the tough guy when Robbo was around.

"Now he's completely vulnerable and he's learning about being a dad. I'm really looking forward to doing it. It's a completely different side of this character now that I'm exploring, so it's very cool."

Neighbours' Mason Turner will feel under pressure when he discovers that girlfriend Rhiannon Bates want him to be a father figure to her son Jackson.

Mason (Taylor Glockner) and Rhiannon (Teressa Liane) are enjoying rekindling their romance once again, but Mason feels instantly uncomfortable when Rhiannon mentions his role towards Jackson.

Knowing it has made Mason feel awkward, a frustrated Rhiannon confides in Susan (Jackie Woodburne), who questions her over whether she sees Mason as a serious partner,TV Week reports.

Rhiannon then decides that she needs to find out whether or not Mason is serious about their relationship, and tells him that if it is too much for him, he should just say.

It was revealed back in July that Liane had returned to the soap to film more scenes.

Neighbours airs these scenes next week in Australia and in a month's time in the UK.

Neighbours' Mason Turner will be encouraged to leave Ramsay Street after he is blamed for an accident involving Josh Willis.

It was announced last year that Taylor Glockner would be leaving the soap after a year of playing Mason.

Mason will find his world turned upside down after Josh (Harley Bonner) has a serious accident with massive repercussions that will divide his family and the Turners.

During a camping trip with Amber and Imogen, Josh and Mason get competitive while abseiling and Josh ends up falling to the ground when there is a malfunction with his carabiner clip.

In the aftermath of the accident, both Josh and Brad (Kip Gamblin) are furious about what the implications of Josh's injuries could mean for his swimming career and are determined to get revenge on Mason, who they hold responsible.

Although Mason's father Matt (Josef Brown) tries to reason with his friend, Brad won't be swayed and is adamant that Mason must pay for what he has done and plans to sue him.

Meanwhile, Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) becomes increasingly torn between her friendship with Lauren (Kate Kendall), and her desire to support her husband and son.

Instead of going ahead with Brad's plans to sue him, Terese eventually offers Mason a job at Lassiter's in Darwin, offering to pay for flights and accommodation as long he leaves as soon as possible.

Neighbours airs these scenes this week in Australia and in two weeks' time for UK viewers.

Neighbours student Imogen Willis stands by Mason Turner after her whole family turns against him later this month.

The Willis and Turner clans find themselves at war in upcoming episodes after Mason (Taylor Glockner) is blamed for an abseiling injury that could destroy Josh's swimming career.

Mason is adamant that he's done nothing wrong, but there's no reasoning with the Willis family and Brad even files a lawsuit against him, convinced that he made a mistake with the abseiling equipment during the teens' camping trip.

Wanting to avoid any further family dramas, Mason tells Imogen (Ariel Kaplan) that they should keep their distance from each other from now on, but she can see that he is being unfairly treated.

Mason is anxious but pleased as Imogen promises to support him, refusing to back down. The pair share a passionate kiss, but they know their romance will have to stay a secret…

Mason and Imogen get close again.

Later in the week, Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) finds it increasingly difficult to deal with the possibility that her son may never achieve his career ambitions due to his injury.

Brad (Kip Gamblin) is determined to stay positive over Josh's future, but Terese knows there's little chance that he'll ever be back to his best in the pool.

Feeling resentful over everything that's happened, Terese offers Mason a transfer to Lassiter's Darwin where he'd have a better position.

Terese thinks the situation would be much easier to deal with if Mason wasn't around, so she even promises that the Willises will drop the lawsuit if he goes. Will Mason be tempted by the offer?

Upcoming episodes see Ricky (Bonnie Sveen) agonise over what to do for days, before finally resolving to be honest with Brax about their baby.

When Ricky heads to the prison, she is just about to muster up the courage to tell Brax (Steve Peacocke) when he suddenly delivers shocking news of his own, announcing that he wants to end their relationship.

Brax feels that it would be unfair to expect Ricky to wait ten years for him, so he warns her not to visit him again as she won't be welcome. Crushed by Brax's words, Ricky starts to question her future in the Bay…

Also ahead on Neighbours, Mason Turner's exit scenes see him leave Erinsborough after landing a new job.

After deciding that he needs a fresh start, Mason (Taylor Glockner) arranges to be transferred to Lassiter's Darwin.

While most of Mason's family are supportive of his decision to move on, his mother Lauren (Kate Kendall) struggles to accept that he won't be around anymore.

Mason starts to feel guilty and has second thoughts when he sees Lauren's negative reaction, but Lou urges Lauren to be supportive of her son and realise that he needs to spread his wings.

Later, Mason's loved ones gather out on Ramsay Street to say their goodbyes before he leaves for the airport. Will Lauren accept his decision to go?
