I am so angry with Emerdale for getting Katie's accident totally wrong. She has apparently had an ovary removed and now the storyline is that she is infertile. Such rubbish. Women are still capable of having a child providing they have 1 good ovary. As Declan has so much money and he loves Katie so much, the least he could do is get a specialist second opinion - but perhaps the writers just want Declan and Katie to separate and they don't care how unbelievable the storyline has to be to meet their needs. I can't believe they haven't received medical advice. How upsetting for women who now believe they cannot have children due to ovary problems, just because Emerdale says so. I'm very disappointed, even to the point I am considering not watching it anymore and I have been a loyal supporter since the first episode.
