I really find the Lola/Lexi/Phil storyline really upsetting, a loving mother and child are being kept apart first by the social and now Phil, the comparison to Michael moon and his baby is interesting as he is the person who requires parental support from social services, social sevices are being portrayed in a bad light not correctly assessing and supporting Lola and Lexi's situation, class and money play a role in this storyline, i hope Lola and her baby are soon reunited as it should be, come on eastenders where is your moral conscience?
i still dont understand how phil a former junkie and also does dodgy deals and is known to cops would be given custody of a child
EastEnders fans can expect more drama involving newcomer Kirsty Branning later this month as Tanya Cross continues trying to get rid of her.
Kirsty (Kierston Wareing) has left Tanya rattled in recent days after arriving on Albert Square on Christmas Day and introducing herself as Max's secret wife.
Upcoming episodes see Tanya (Jo Joyner) reach the end of her tether over the situation, so she pays a visit to the B&B and tries to force Kirsty out of Walford.
A subsequent showdown between the pair sees Tanya ask Kirsty whether anything has happened between her and Max since Christmas.
When Kirsty confesses to the kiss she shared with Max before Derek's funeral, a paranoid Tanya shoves the divorce petition into her hands and orders her to sign it. But will Kirsty co-operate?

Soon afterwards, Max (Jake Wood) barges in and demands to know what is going on. Tanya immediately storms out, prompting Kirsty to claim that she has lost it.
Max tries to go after Tanya, but Kirsty steps in his way and seductively tells him that she knows she is the one he wants.
Kirsty then asks Max to kiss her like he did on the day of Derek's funeral, and when he refuses, Kirsty makes a move on him…

Monday
Fed up with the Kirsty situation, Tanya heads to the B&B and tries to force her love rival out of Albert Square by packing up her belongings. Kirsty declares that Tanya has lost the plot, but is stumped when Tanya pulls out the key that she found in Max's pocket. Not wanting to drop Lauren in it, Kirsty fails to provide an explanation, which prompts a furious Tanya to throw her belongings out of the window. When Tanya demands to know what's been going on, Kirsty promises that the only illicit contact she's had with Max since Christmas was a kiss before Derek's funeral. Tanya then orders Kirsty to sign the divorce petition, but she refuses.
When Max learns of the commotion, he heads over to intervene, but Tanya storms out. Max tries to rush after her, but Kirsty continues her pursuit by trying to kiss him. However, Max stands firm by insisting that Kirsty should sign the papers and leave Walford. Back at the Branning house, Lauren realises that her parents are arguing about the key, so she steps in to reveal the truth. Lauren upsets Tanya by pointing out that at least Kirsty listens to her, but she regrets her harsh words as Tanya breaks down.
As the Brannings try to put on a united front and get back to some normality, Lauren heads out to confront Kirsty at the B&B - begging her to leave the Square and stop causing problems. Feeling like the whole world is against her, Kirsty invites Max over to the B&B to talk, threatening to visit the house if he doesn't co-operate. After making an excuse to his family, Max goes to the B&B and is shocked when Kirsty finally hands him the signed divorce papers and announces that she's leaving…
Meanwhile, Dot is in shock after learning that Cora did not pay the rent when she was living in her house. Dot now fears that the matter will be pursued through the courts.
Tuesday
Max is shocked by Kirsty's decision to finally set him free. Kirsty explains that she's doing the right thing because she loves him and doesn't want to hurt him. She proves her intention to leave by ordering a taxi, and as they say goodbye, both try to cover about how hard they're finding the farewell. As Max heads home, Kirsty goes to The Vic and informs Alfie that she has to leave, on the pretence of a family emergency.
Back at the Branning house, Max shares the news with Tanya that Kirsty has signed the divorce papers. Tanya is amazed that Kirsty has backed down, but Lauren feels guilty as she can tell that Kirsty is now all alone in the world. Lauren goes to see Kirsty to find out how she's doing, but Kirsty puts on a front that she'll be fine - and also gives Lauren some final advice.
Later, Tanya gets suspicious when she cuddles up in bed with Max and he doesn't want to take things further. With her suspicions fuelled once again, Tanya interrogates Max over his relationship with Kirsty and brings up the kiss they shared before Derek's funeral. Max is then forced to reveal some candid truths about his relationship with Kirsty, even explaining about the abortion she had.
Tanya is stunned to realise that Max cares more for Kirsty than he's led her to believe. Not wanting to live in the shadow of another woman, Tanya orders Max to leave and pushes him out of the family home, slamming the door shut. Max is then left standing alone on the Square as Kirsty's taxi pulls away from the B&B. Will Max ask Kirsty to stay?
Thursday
Lola is shocked when Phil informs her that he's going on a family holiday to Cornwall with Peggy for two weeks, and he intends to take Lexi with him. Lola questions why Peggy can't just meet Lexi locally, but Phil insists that his mum wants to stay away from Walford.
Fed up with the situation, Lola finds Billy and they make an appointment to see Trish, wanting to see whether it's legal for Phil to do this. However, Trish points out that if they oppose Phil's plans, Lexi will be put into temporary care while he's away. Still not satisfied, Lola wants to see a solicitor…
Meanwhile, Zainab and Denise have both reached the interview stage for the regional manager's position, which leads to more rivalry between the pair. Ian offers to tutor Denise to give her the best chance at the interview, while Masood tries to help Zainab and even recruits Ayesha to play the role of Denise in a group interview scenario.
Later, while coaching Denise in The Vic, Ian decides to tell Kim a few home truths about Ray. When Kim confronts Ray and he confesses that he made the move on Denise, she realises that it's time to make peace with her sister.
Elsewhere, as Dot's financial problems escalate, Cora comes up with a short-term solution by offering her some of her shifts at the launderette. When Dot gets the business back on top form again, Mr Papadopoulos decides to re-hire her - Dot has her old job back.
Friday
Lauren's attempts at helping out a friend backfire, but when she calls her mum for help, Tanya has a novel way of dealing with the situation.
At the same time, Ava warns Dexter not to get too comfy in Walford when she spots him hard at work at The Arches. Later, Dexter passes these words back to his mum when he spots her giving Max a piece of her mind at The Vic.
Meanwhile, Lola warns Phil that she is seeking legal advice about his intention to take Lexi away to Cornwall. However, Billy is given food for thought when Phil informs him that he only wants Lexi to have the best. Later, Lola chats to Dexter and he explains that he would have loved a holiday like the one Lexi is being offered. Lola then makes a decision…
Elsewhere, Zainab and Denise both attend their interviews for the regional manager's position, although Zainab makes an unsuccessful attempt to have Denise miss her slot by 'forgetting' to pass a message on about the time changing. Zainab is taken by surprise when the interviewer mentions her 'recent memory loss', but she bluffs her way through it and later discovers that AJ was responsible for the trick, wanting her to have a taste of her own medicine.
Also today, Sharon and Bianca exchange insults after Dennis and Morgan get in trouble for fighting at school, but Jack soon finds himself under fire when he tells Sharon that he's taken Dennis to the boxing gym before.
EastEnders couple Max Branning and Tanya Cross appear to have reached the end of the line in next week's episodes.
The pair's relationship has been put under severe strain since Christmas Day, when Max's secret wife Kirsty paid a shock visit to Albert Square.
At the weekend, we revealed how Tanya will step up her attempts to force Kirsty out of Walford in the coming days, urging her love rival to leave the area and Max's life forever.
It can now be confirmed that Kirsty (Kierston Wareing) finally agrees to sign the divorce papers next week, feeling like everyone is against her as Max, Tanya and Lauren all make it clear that she should give up on her marriage.
Kirsty also announces plans to leave the Square immediately, but just as Tanya (Jo Joyner) is breathing a huge sigh of relief, her suspicions are refuelled as Max doesn't seem so happy about the development.
When Tanya interrogates Max (Jake Wood) over his relationship with Kirsty, the businessman is forced to reveal some candid truths about their strong connection - even explaining about the abortion she had.
Realising that Max cares for Kirsty much more than he's led her to believe, Tanya decides that she doesn't want to live in another woman's shadow and kicks him out of their family home.
Max is then left standing alone on the Square as Kirsty's taxi pulls away from the B&B. Will Max ask Kirsty to stay? And is it really the end for his relationship with Tanya?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, January 22 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
EastEnders' Kim Fox finally forgives half-sister Denise this evening (January 24) after Ian Beale steps in to play peacemaker.
Tonight's episode sees Kim (Tameka Empson) start the day by continuing to behave coldly towards her sibling, still blaming Denise (Diane Parish) for her recent split from Ray Dixon.
When Ian witnesses the latest tension between the pair, he intervenes with some honesty - informing Kim that Ray made the move on Denise, not the other way around.
Kim is shocked when Ray finally does the right thing by verifying this, so she realises it's time to be friends with Denise again. Can the sisters get back on track?
