Jim Davidson has reportedly signed up for Celebrity Big Brother.

The stand-up comedian has agreed a deal to be a housemate in the upcoming series on Channel 5 in January, according to The Sun.

If the former Big Break presenter were to appear, it would reunite him with host Brian Dowling, whom he fell out with while both were contestants on Hell's Kitchen in 2007.

Davidson caused controversy by calling Dowling a "shirt-lifter" and a "poof" during the show.

"Jim often says what he thinks, even if his views are at odds with most people," said an insider.

"He got himself into a lot of trouble when he was on Hell's Kitchen with Brian, but hopefully he will be on better behaviour with him this time.

"It's true to say there is no love lost between the pair of them, but Brian is a professional and this is part of his job."

Davidson said in 2007 that he wanted to "rip [Dowling's] head off" following the fallout with the former Big Brother winner.

Celebrity Big Brother's 2013 series is rumoured to have contestants from three different soaps.

The latest name from soapland to be added to the list of housemates is Neighbours star Ryan Moloney, who plays Toadfish Rebecchi.

The Sun reports that the Neighbours actor will join rumoured contestants including former EastEnders actress Gillian Taylforth, Sam Robertson, who played Coronation Street's Adam Barlow, and Tricia Penrose, who starred in Heartbeat as barmaid Gina Ward.

Coronation Street duo Bruce Jones and Wendi Peters, who played Les Battersby and Cilla Battersby-Brown respectively, have also been linked with the Channel 5 show.

Other celebrities speculated to have signed up for the new series of the Channel 5 reality show are Katie Price, X Factor contestant Rylan Clark, Jim Davidson and Meat Loaf.

Justin Lee Collins recently denied speculation linking him with an appearance on the show.

Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 5 on January 3 at 9pm.

his year's 12 contestants have entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and include a selection of soap stars, US reality TV veterans, a Page 3 model and a '90s popstar.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are this series' American stars entering the Channel 5 reality show. The duo - who have the nickname Speidi - found fame on US series The Hills and have been described in their home country as "reality TV villains".

Spencer released a book in 2009 titled How to Be Famous that claimed "sexy girls get all the attention, not good girls" and "never leave the house without full hair and make-up". He is also a born-again Christian.

Heidi had 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day in 2009, including a nose job, fat injections in her cheeks, neck liposuction and buttock implants. Spencer has previously described the couple as "the most famous people in the world".

Joining the duo in the house is 20-year-old Bedford model Lacey Banghard, whose claims to fame include winning Page 3 Idol and appearing in Nuts magazine.

The model, who has the nickname Bangers, claims that she is tired of jokes regarding her name, claiming that she's heard every single one from men chatting her up in clubs.

Claire Richards from Steps is also taking part, becoming the second member of the '90s pop group to take part. Bandmate Ian 'H' Watkins took part when the show was on Channel 4.

The singer has insisted that her battle with her weight won't impact on her time on the show, commenting: "It's not going to rule my life anymore."

Jockey Frankie Dettori, who is currently suspended from racing for failing a surprise drugs test, also entered the reality show, alongside former footballer Neil 'Razor' Ruddock, who was a last minute addition to the lineup after comic Jim Davidson pulled out.

There is a long list of soap stars taking part this year, including former EastEnders actress Gillian Taylforth, who claims she was inspired to take part by notorious 2012 contestant Julie Goodyear.

The other three soap stars are Neighbours legend and father-of-two Ryan Moloney, ex-Corrie and Beaver Falls actor Sam Robertson, who admits to "fancying older women", and party animal and ex-Heartbeat star Tricia Penrose.

X Factor's extravagant 2012 star Rylan Clark is also taking part in the reality series. Rylan can bank on strong support from his close friend Katie Price, who has promised to campaign and support the singer on Twitter.

Completing the lineup is a former girlfriend of Simon Cowell and ex-drugs and drink addict Paula Hamilton. The ex-model describes herself as a "50-year-old with the body of a 20-year-old" and has had her eggs frozen so she can have a family in later life.

Hamilton has also claimed that she is taking a coconut called Boris into the house, to whom she regularly talks.

Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow night (January 4) on Channel 5.

Rylan Clark was crowned the winner of this year's Celebrity Big Brother on Friday night.

The Essex-born singer had long been bookies' favourite to emerge victorious, despite the controversy when it was revealed that he had been secretly leaving the house for X Factor tour rehearsals.

However, it was Hills duo Heidi & Spencer who caused the most debate among Big Brother fans this series. The reality TV veterans managed to rub their fellow housemates up the wrong way and seemed to provide more talking points than any other contestant, such as 'clap-gate', the the Big Blogger segment and their secret basement task.

Emma Willis is replacing Brian Dowling as the host of Big Brother.

Brian, 34, who won the reality TV show in 2001 and Ultimate Big Brother in 2010, has hosted the programme for two years, since it moved to Channel 5.

Emma, 37, who is married to former Busted star Matt, is the host of spin-off show Big Brother's Bit On The Side.

The presenter, who will also front Celebrity Big Brother, said: "I am thrilled to have been offered this job.

"I'm a fan first and foremost so to be able to front the show is going to be amazing. Roll on the summer!"

Channel 5 director of programmes Ben Frow said: "Emma is a natural on screen, she's made the spin-off show her own and now the time is totally right for her to step up.

"I know she'll take Big Brother to the next level and I can't wait to see her dealing with the housemates both famous and soon-to-be famous.

"I'd also like to thank Brian Dowling for doing such a sterling job over the last two years. He's been a big part of the success of the show and I wish him the very best."

Reports had previously suggested that Emma was in talks for the role, and that she was seen by channel chiefs as a true successor to Davina McCall.

Big Brother will return this summer.

American rapper Big Boi and British singer Abs have both agreed to deals for Celebrity Big Brother 2013.

Big Boi, part of OutKast, has reportedly signed up in to take part in this month’s series for a whopping £300,000 fee from Channel 5 bosses.

It makes the MC, real name André Patton, one of the highest paid stars this year, with some other celebs getting ‘just’ £30,000 for their three week stint.

“Producers always like to mix things up with an American star and they hope Big Boi will do the business this year,” an insider told The Sun newspaper this morning.

TV chiefs have apparently agreed a deal with Abs from British boyband 5ive too, following their reunion earlier this year on ITV2 series The Big Reunion.

The nineties boy group recently went on tour alongside the likes of 911, Atomic Kitten, B*witched and Liberty X as part of the show.

Also tipped for the line up are football pundit Ron Atkinson, Loose Women star Carol McGiffin and model Sophie Anderton, alongside Geordie Charlotte.

CBB will start straight after the current series of Big Brother ends later this month.

Celebrity Big Brother has revealed the lineup for its new series.

Louie Spence was the first housemate to enter. The dancer, who found fame on Pineapple Dance Studios, said that he loves causing controversy and people don't always like what he has to say.

Joining him was former child prodigy Lauren Harries. She first found fame talking about antiques on TV with Terry Wogan. Having previously offered fashion advice on Big Brother's Bit on the Side, she promises to bring 'sex appeal' into the house.

Reality show regular and former wild child Sophie Anderton became the third to join. At the height of her career, she was earning £30,000 a week which led to a party lifestyle. Clean from drugs since 2009, she has become a self-confessed homebody and claims to be constantly cleaning.

The trio were given a secret mission by Big Brother. After being called into the Diary Room, it was stated that they would be the founding members of a secret cult.

'The Cult of Celebrity' gave them power and influence over their housemates. They would be living secretly together in The Temple of Celebrity with the other contestants unaware of them for the first 24 hours. They had the choice to put up the first celebrity for eviction.

Soap couple Bruce Jones and Vicky Entwistle, who played Les and Janice Battersby on Coronation Street, both went in believing they were the first housemates to enter.

Courtney Stodden was next to go in. The US reality star is best known for marrying actor Doug Hutchison at 16 when he was 50.

Loose Women panellist Carol McGiffin is following the tradition set by her fellow co-stars Denise Welch and Coleen Nolan by entering the house. Engaged to toyboy Mark Cassidy, she started her broadcasting career in 1988 as co-host of Chris Evans's radio shows. She was married to Evans between 1991-1998.

Fresh from reuniting with most of 5ive for The Big Reunion, singer Abz also joined. After blowing a six-figure fortune on 'sex, drugs and rock n roll', Abz said: "I need a bit of money, I'm still pretty broke."

American actor Dustin Diamond, best known for playing Screech on Saved by the Bell, also entered. He played the role for 13 years before moving on to other projects including directing and releasing his own sex tape Screeched: Saved by the Smell and releasing albums.

Reality stars Charlotte Crosby from Geordie Shore and Mario Falcone from The Only Way is Essex were also added. Dublin Wives star and botox doctor Danielle Marr finished the lineup.

I hope they do make a brief return to Corrie at least. I've been wondering what they'd make of Leanne now being quite close to Stella. It's great to see Bruce and Vicky reunited on the screen. Hate Lauren for being the one that really wanted Vicky up for eviction; her reasoning was lousy and she kept saying stupid things like, "None of them will go."

Charlotte is really getting on my nerves!!
