Neither would I. My money would be on Debbie. You can see that she is starting to behave strange. It looks as if Chas gets off with Carl's murder she will be furious and wants revenge.

me too, but to send him home in the New Year??!! the wonders of medecine, I thought he was due to be bor until late March early April? so 3 to 3.5 months early? I make that a 26 week pregnancy and yet he can go home straight away?

they're keeping us dangling over the verdict obviously, because everywhere Chas is mentionned post-Trial it is because someone 'goes to see Chas'

no mention of her going anywhere herself - to make us think she was found guilty?

Yeah but this is soapland and babies always improve a lot quicker and healther in soapland. Plus we need loads of doom & gloom over Christmas. Charity & Jai's marrige on the rocks, poor Edna sitting starving and lonely what more could you want.

Can't see it being Debbie, she's up front about what she thinks of Chaz and wouldn't be slow to tell her, Stalker ? Cameron in hiding Chaz gets out but I don't see any spoiler ( unless I missed it ) that says the police have Cameron under lock and key.

I think the stalker could be Charity - she's over-protective towards Debbie and knows Debbie would take Cameron back. Some time in the future Carl's phone is going to show up - who's got it now??? If Cameron's still got it it could be him.

PS - When the phone does show up it proves that Chas could not have killed Carl.

Never thought of them - could be Sean but the interview says that she understands why it happened which made me think of Carl's son and the surprise 'cos he's supposed to be in Dubai. By the time it gets around to it we'll probably all have changed our minds over and over again - but it's nice to speculate isn't it.

Another possibility could be Bernice. She wants to buy Chas`s share of the pub. By scaring Chas away, it could mean Bernice gets what she wants.
And anotherr plus would be that if Chas does sell her 1/2 of the pub to Bernice then we won`t see Chas being shoe horned into every damm scene like we do now.

Monday

Jai returns to work and makes an uneasy truce with Nikhil, but soon finds himself clashing with Dan, who takes a stand and walks out. Nikhil is fuming and as he points out all the mistakes that Jai has made, Jai storms out furious.

In the café, Rachel is concerned as she sees things aren't good between Jai and Charity. She tells Jai that they're hopefully going to let Archie come home soon and she will stay in the house, but she wants his key so he can't let himself in.

Later, a repentant Jai arrives back at the factory, but he's stunned when Rishi and Nikhil force him out, claiming that he's unfit to be a director. Jai reluctantly hands over his keys and is distraught when Nikhil tells him that he's had to give up his time with Molly because of him and he'll never forgive him for that - he wants him to stay away from his family. Outside, a devastated Jai gives in to tears of grief and rejection…

Meanwhile, Bernice arrives back without Diane. At the pub, Chas is already feeling lonely and isolated when Bernice makes things worse by commenting that the takings are down and Chas must be driving customers away. Chas then hits a new low when Bernice lies that Diane is not happy with the way she's running the business and she wants her to take a look at the books. Chas is fuming, but Bernice insists that she's only looking after her mum's interests and suggests she should sell up her share of the pub.

When Chas offers Dan a drink on the house, Bernice pipes up and Chas lays into her. Steve leads a humiliated Bernice into the back room and tells her that she only has herself to blame for the way Chas has reacted. However, Bernice is still determined to get her hands on the pub.

Also today, Chas receives a prank call.

Tuesday

Noah sulks over wanting to see Jai, leaving Charity torn over what to do. Soon afterwards, Rishi tries to talk to Charity, who is losing patience with Jai. Rishi encourages her to give Jai another chance, but she's at the end of her tether and thinks she should just give up like Jai has.

Later at Holdgate, Jai is thrown to find Charity waiting for him. Charity admits that she loves him and has missed him, but she has hurt him by making him do everything on her terms and it has to stop. She insists that he deserves someone who can give him what he wants. As Jai fights to change Charity's mind, he is bereft when she steels herself to tell him that it's over despite her own devastation.

Meanwhile, Gennie is feeling down about not being able to go on her business trip to Germany and wishes there was a better way through things as Nikhil heads to work. She is pleased when Chas suggests that she should call Georgia over so she can take care of Molly, allowing her to go to Germany. Gennie tells Nikhil that his mum is coming to stay and he worries when he discovers that Gennie told Georgia about Jai's breakdown. Later, Chas is touched when Gennie still wants her to be godmother to Molly.

Elsewhere, Steve approaches Chas and admits that Bernice was lying about Diane wanting her to sell up, but it might be best all round if she does. He offers her a big cheque, but Chas remains firm and refuses. Bernice overhears and is unimpressed, but is determined to up her game and get what she wants one way or another.

Also today, Chas is shaken when she receives another prank call at the pub. Later, Jimmy tells her that Carl's headstone is going up tomorrow and invites her to go along. Nicola is outraged that he's asked her to the family dinner and fumes when Chas accepts, but Jimmy doesn't have the heart to take back the invite.

Finally, Dan is excited about Bronte night, but Bob is not happy when Dan gets the flyers done and sees they're offering unlimited wine.

Wednesday

At Holdgate, Rishi is shocked to hear that Charity has left Jai and insists that he can't let her go without a fight. Over at Pear Tree, Charity is wound up when she discovers that Jimmy has asked Chas to the family meal, and she tries to hide her frustration when Jimmy says that she has a cold heart.

When the lunch begins, it doesn't take long before Nicola loses patience with Chas. In the end Chas leaves, telling Jimmy that Nicola does have a point, but Jimmy follows Chas out. Charity flips when she sees Jimmy consoling Chas and goes for her. Jai approaches and Charity storms off, furious and tearful.

At Pear Tree, Charity can't deny it when Jai asks if her outburst was about them, not Chas. He's grateful when she tells him that she doesn't know if they can make things work but she's willing to try. Later in the pub, Jai assures Georgia and Rishi that he and Charity have had a rough time but they've come out of it.

Meanwhile, Chas receives more prank calls and is becoming increasingly worried. Later, when Chas talks to Jimmy outside the graveyard, a mysterious figure is watching them. Back at The Woolpack, Chas gets another prank call and is terrified when a handful of gravel hits the window. She rushes out, questioning whether Bernice saw anyone, and is sure she's being targeted.

Elsewhere, Cain worries that Moira is giving him the brush-off when she tells him that she can't make dinner. However, she is pleased later when she finishes her meeting early and leaves him a flirty message to say their date is back on. Moira sets the table but there's no sign of Cain, so she calls him again. Cain is angry with Moira and cancels her call. Moira leaves him another message, fed up and frustrated that he hasn't shown up.

Also today, Dan is pleased when Cain agrees to give him a job valeting and making tea, while Gennie finally leaves for Germany after having last minute doubts about leaving Molly.

Thursday

Chas is unnerved when Jimmy calls her to the graveyard to see that all of the flowers from the other graves have been piled on top of Carl's grave. Chas is unaware that she's being watched. Back at the pub, Chas is terrified when she opens her mail to find a photo of herself with her eyes scratched out and blames a baffled Bernice. Ashley, Bernice and Jimmy are all concerned and try to help Chas, who is clearly struggling to hold it together despite her brave front.

When Chas receives a voicemail from 'Carl', she panics before heading out to find Cain, sure he's behind it. She confronts him but Cain angrily warns that she'll know when he's ready for revenge. Desperate, Chas goes to see Jimmy at Pear Tree, but she is uneasy when the office phone rings and it's another prank call. She hurries out, realising that her stalker knows where she is. When Chas rushes to the back door of The Woolpack, a bottle smashes in front of her and a shard of glass cuts her head. Petrified, Chas runs inside, fearing for her life.

Meanwhile, Adam finds out that Cain blew Moira out and he thinks Cain is making her look like a mug. Moira is annoyed, knowing he's right. She goes to see Cain at the garage and is frustrated when he coolly tells her that he had other plans last night. Moira admits to him that she just wanted to spend some time with him and wasn't playing games. Dan picks up on the tension between them and Cain is left kicking himself.

In the pub, Moira gets a text from Cain asking her to go round, but she refuses to be bullied by him and goes in her own time. She questions what's going on when she walks in on Cain's row with Chas, but he refuses to talk about it.

Elsewhere, Bob is listening to Wuthering Heights on audio book and when he and Dan both flirt with Vanessa in the café, Dan is envious of Bob's charm. Dan reads The Idiot's Guide to Wuthering Heights while at the garage and questions Moira about women. Bob tries to persuade Brenda to go to Bronte night and mischievously lets Dan think people will be dressing up in costume.

Also, Megan is thrown when Declan wants her to oversee the final contract details with the hotel and Robbie can't believe their luck, while Belle lies to Lisa in an attempt to spend more time with Gemma.

As a shaken Chas sits alone, her mobile rings and she kills the call. At the same time, Nicola is sceptical over Chas's story of having a mystery stalker and tells Jimmy not to make it his fight.

Later, Bernice is telling Chas to sort this out when they hear Gabby screaming and hurry through to the back. They're horrified to see that someone has sprayed the start of the word 'Bitch' on the wall. Ashley comforts Gabby, while Chas heads out chasing after the culprit. She and Jimmy give chase to the hooded figure and are stunned to discover who it is...

Meanwhile, Robbie can't help himself as he tells Declan that Katie is with Andy in the pub. Declan heads off to The Woolpack to see if Katie wants a lift back, and she questions if she's not allowed a life now. At Home Farm, Katie pushes Declan to admit that her not being able to have children is going to affect how he feels about their relationship. She is floored when he can't deny it. The troubled couple are unaware that Megan has overheard everything.

Elsewhere, Cain reluctantly lets Dan go early to get ready for Bronte night. Rhona and Vanessa arrive and Brenda is about to begin reading when Dan enters in fancy dress. Dan and Bob squabble and are then disappointed when Rhona and Vanessa leave, while Brenda gets drunk. Dan is shocked when Brenda kisses him and Bob is struck with a pang of jealousy.

Also, Belle is wracked with guilt when Gemma catches her spending time with Luke.

Friday

There is still tension between Declan and Katie as she declines his offer of going out for the day. Declan smarts and Robbie enjoys the animosity. Soon afterwards, Megan covers as she looks at figures on Declan's computer. She is irked when Robbie questions if she's having second thoughts and his paranoia is still apparent.

Later in the pub, Robbie watches on as Andy is sympathetic towards Katie when she tells him that she can't have children. They share a warm moment, and Andy feels for her as she thinks she has said too much about her and Declan. As the day continues, Megan worries for her brother when Robbie tells her Katie is in the pub with Andy and she's making a mug of Declan. However, Megan is forced to step in when Robbie tries to stir things with Declan.

Over at Dale View, Katie covers to Andy when she says that Declan was fine with her staying out, but she dreads going home. She offloads to him, fearing for her marriage now that she can't give Declan children.

Meanwhile, Chas struggles after discovering who is behind the stalking.

Elsewhere, Brenda is mortified as she arrives at work late and Bob reminds her of what happened with Dan at Bronte night. At the garage, Dan covers that he's busy when Brenda wants to talk to him, and she is aware that she's been given the brush-off. Bob reassures Brenda that she'll meet someone, but is disappointed that he's being overlooked.

Also today, Alicia is worried when an upset Jacob fears that David will forget about him, while Belle is mortified when Cain warns her that Luke had better keep his hands to himself.

It does say that Chas is shocked when she finds out who it is...I dont think it being Debbie would shock her at all, in fact she'd be prime suspect after she gobbed off about making Chas' life a living hell because she got off. Although it does seem like the kind of thing Debbie would do.

It would make sense it being one of Carls kids as it says Chas understands why that person did it.

But she would be shocked if it was sean or maybe even his sister because she would never have suspected them but would also understand that what she did to Dan upset them. I'd never even considered them before. My bet is still on it being Cameron

I cant see it being the kids? they would be a bit less subtle surely?

and whoever it is - where did they get a photo of Chas from?

I think Cameron still has Carls' mobile ,might answer the photo and the voice mail source. The one thing that doesn't add up, is Chas upon finding out who is responsible shows understanding ,surely If it was Cameron she'd go berserk ?

Emmerdale's Thomas King (Mark Flanagan) was last night unmasked as Chas Spencer's stalker.

Jimmy King (Nick Miles) tackled a hooded figure - who turned out to be his nephew - to the floor after Chas (Lucy Pargeter) had spotted her harasser trying to flee.

Despite recently being found not guilty of murdering Carl King, Chas has had bottles thrown at her and been sent photos of herself with her eyes scratched out, in addition to receiving numerous prank calls.

Thomas, whose dad Carl was killed by Cameron Murray (Dominic Power) last October, still believes Chas is the culprit.

"You think you can kill my dad and get away with it?" he railed at Chas in last night's double bill. "Everyone knows you're a murderer."

Attempting to pacify him, Chas responded: "I know you have every right to hate me, but you have to believe I was defending myself."

Many fans thought it might have been Cameron who was secretly stalking Chas.

During Carl's funeral, Thomas told mourners that his uncle was a rapist who deserved what came to him.

Emmerdale continues tonight (Friday, January 11) at 7pm on ITV1.
