In the soaplife magazine, one of the careless whispers is: Which corrie mum discovers she is having another baby? And why is in such a state about it?
kylie by nick or david or tommy (could decide who the daddy will be :p)

Coronation Street businessman Nick Tilsley receives a shock in the New Year as Kylie Platt tells him that she is pregnant following their one-night stand.
Viewers saw Nick betray half-brother David by sleeping with his wife earlier this week, and although he and Kylie regretted their antics the next morning, the pair's passionate encounter comes back to haunt them in early 2013.
Kylie is left in turmoil when she realises that she is expecting a baby, as she has no idea whether the father is David or Nick.
Ben Price, who plays Nick, told Inside Soap: "Of course Nick's one-night stand with Kylie will come back to haunt him. There's just no way something like that can be hidden on the Street.
"If I was Nick's mate, I'd tell him not to dig any more holes for himself and leave Weatherfield for good. But I don't want to do myself out of a job!"
Meanwhile, Paula Lane - who plays Kylie - told Radio Times of the pregnancy: "This could blow the whole Platt family apart. No matter what option they go down, there are risks involved. So it's just trying to work out which isn't going to hurt so many people.
"Kylie's got more to lose than Nick, but he doesn't see it like that. It's his family. So Kylie wants to come clean but Nick doesn't. He says an abortion is the only thing that works for all of them, but Kylie's not sure it works for her."
In a further twist to the tale, reports have confirmed that an enemy will discover that David may not be the father of Kylie's baby as the storyline progresses. This development takes place in a few weeks' time, adding even more pressure to Kylie's situation.

I seriously never liked Kylie. But David and Kylie, have they really had a good run? Will this be the end for them? Only time will tell if Kylie will come through with the truth about it all.

So Kylie who did not want a baby when DAvid wanted one, was still on the pilll, :thumbsdow
and as she was wanting to be a "career girl" was adamant that she was not going to get pregnant, and this is the whole reason she and David got to this place.
So if she was on the pill (and any woman wanting not to get pregant is going to make sure she takes it) then how can she be pregnant with "Nicks" baby, and why is the assumption is it's Nicks? surely it is more likely to be DAvid's, after the amount of tiimes they were trying!
Sorry Corra, I love to watch your show, but this is just plain stupid and predictable!!!!!!!!!!!:moonie:

Coronation Street star Paula Lane has revealed that Kylie Platt's pregnancy news will delight her husband David.
Next week's episodes see Kylie discover that she is expecting a baby, but due to her recent one-night stand with David's half-brother Nick Tilsley, she isn't sure who the father is.
Unaware of this uncertainty, David (Jack P Shepherd) is on cloud nine when he spots Kylie's positive pregnancy test in the bin. However, this comes just as a panicking Nick (Ben Price) has convinced Kylie to have an abortion.
Lane told All About Soap: "I think her marriage means more to her than the pregnancy, so she's trying to paper over the cracks. Her marriage and Max have to come first, so she thinks an abortion is the best option.
"[But David] finds the positive pregnancy test and he's just ecstatic. He can't believe it and practically tells everybody in the street."
When Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) then informs David that Kylie is at the abortion clinic, he races over there and confronts his wife.
Lane added: "Kylie's horrified. She thinks he shouldn't be there and it totally throws her. It highlights just how much she's hurt David.
"She claims she's scared about being left on her own with two kids if it all goes wrong. She's desperate and saying anything she can think of to rescue her marriage. She gives him every excuse under the sun as to why they shouldn't have this baby, but he insists they can make it work."
Coronation Street fans will see Kylie make her decision over whether to keep the baby later this month on ITV1.

Kylie will discover that she is expecting a baby later this week, but the revelation leaves her in turmoil as she cannot be sure whether the father is her husband David (Jack P Shepherd) or his half-brother Nick (Ben Price).
Viewers saw Kylie and Nick spend the night together at Christmas, but Lane told itv.com that the story is avoiding clichés as an ongoing affair isn't on the cards.
Lane commented: "It's a fabulous twist, and not the old cliché that soaps sometimes give to the audience - where the brother and the girlfriend have the affair. There's more in this - there's more layers.
"It's come about from two people who had a need. It's not about a secret affair."
The actress confirmed that Nick will be "absolutely devastated" when Kylie shares her big news with him.
As previously reported, Nick wants Kylie to have an abortion, but whether she will go ahead with this remains to be seen.
Lane continued: "I think Kylie's got a mixed bag of emotions at the minute, because there is that chance that it could be David's baby. She's trying to hold onto that as much as she can.
"But she's got Nick in the background saying, 'We can't, because the chance is there that it could be mine'. Who knows what she's going to do?"
Coronation Street continues tonight (January 7) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.

I don't think it's a "fabulous" storyline at all! Just predictable. I think Nick may show his true colours again too, just like he did with Leanne all those years ago. Nasty Nick! :thumbsdow

Coronation Street's Paula Lane has tipped David Platt to return to his wicked ways if he finds out that wife Kylie slept with his brother Nick.
The Weatherfield actress, who plays the pregnant Bistro barmaid, believes the news would destroy the reformed dad David (Jack P Shepherd).
When asked by the Radio Times how David would react should the secret come out, Lane responded: "I think we'd see the famous evil David Platt come back. He'd be like Hellraiser, I think it would push him over the edge."
Lane also claimed that keeping the baby would be the easiest option for Kylie, saying: "I think there's a good chance [the secret will stay safe], so long as David doesn't find out that she's been unfaithful! Maybe Kylie will try to delete it from her memory.
"David has been Kylie's pillar, the maker of her really, and she's scared of losing that. So she'll do whatever it takes to fight for her marriage."
David finds out that Kylie is pregnant via Eva next Monday (January 14), and rushes to the clinic in a desperate attempt to stop her from having an abortion.
Describing Kylie's feelings when she books the abortion, Lane further commented: "At this moment in time I think her marriage means more to her than the pregnancy, so she's just trying her best to pave over the cracks and prioritise. Her marriage and Max have to come first - they have a family unit now, so she thinks an abortion is the best solution at this time."
"David finds the positive pregnancy test and he's just ecstatic. He can't believe it and practically tells everybody in the street even before asking Kylie about whether it's true. He's like a child in a sweet shop."
Lane added: "She asks how he found her and he tells her that it was Eva. Kylie's had this really emotional scene with Eva where she reveals she's decided to have an abortion. Eva thinks she's making a mistake and the only way to stop Kylie is by telling David.
"Kylie's horrified - he shouldn't be there and it totally throws her and highlights just how much she's hurt David. Kylie feels horrendous; this problem has now escalated again and she's very torn."
"She claims it's about her being left on her own with two kids if it all goes wrong. She's desperate and she's such a convincing liar that even I believed her. She's saying anything she can think of to save her marriage.
"She's fighting for her survival and she gives him every excuse under the sun as to why they shouldn't have this baby. But he counters everything she comes out with, and insists they can make it work."

Another shock discovery for Gail
