Hiya peeps!
I really wanna no whats gonna happen with Demi and Leo!Ive heard about the drug story line but is it true. I really wana no , coz i think Leo is well fit , and i wanna no how long hes gonna be in ee for , so someone help and tell me how long, and also the story line.
Incase you lot dont already know, hes in ee on Friday , and i cant wait i just hope it stays that way

brilliant!!! i cannot stand this story...it made me laugh lst night when demi told sharon it was the real thing and not puppy love

i find it a silly storyline...yes we need to show storylines about different age groups but this one is boredem!!!

this would make sense because Dawn is making an appearance on ee at the end ofthe summer, maybe mickey goes to france to track her down to tell her about demi running away, so she feels it would be best if she went to stay with her family at such a hard time, if demi and leo do run away, do you think that they will take aleesha or not, doubt it if they get involved with drugs?

thats a good idea about dawn. im thinking that if they do run away that they take aleesha with them but then end up getting involved with drugs afterwards

this would make a lot of sense, becuase who'd want to live in Walford over France...saying that it's France so everyone but even so... i cant see Dawn satying in wlaford for no reason, i read that it would be becuase of some family crisis and this could well be that crisis

aww did you see Demis face yesterday i felt really sorry for her.
Demi and Leo will make a good couple.
Her parents were so close to saying yes if they didn't see Darren and leo fighting.

Will they ever be together?
Will her parents ever make up with leos parents and be one happy family?
i doubt it.

I can not believe she even KEPT the baby she is supposed to be 14 years old ,,:ninja:
Leo's temper has alot to do with defending himself from Ray,, so I really don't think he meant to hurt Darren..:nono:

well i might be hard for a 14yr old to look after a baby but lots of them do, and although i would find it hard work and stressful and i may not want to do it at times, if id have been pregnant at 14 i dont know if id have been able to have an abortion. i suppose you dont know what youd do til your actually in that situation. you cant say that just cos your young you shouldnt keep the baby

Yer i no , something to do with drugs , either aleesha takes drugs or demi takes an over dose!Eastenders can never just let a couple live happily!!! well if one of those does happen , then i hope neither of them die, then it could work, doubt it though, do you know if one of them dies?

i dont think its saying that teenage mums or their babies will die, but it is giving the impression that all teenage mums are useless parents and cant look after their baby properly. i think theyve done a good job so far at showing demi looking after aleesha as theres so much bad press about teenage mums and theyre not all like that. im not sure if ee would go as far as making aleesha die after taking drugs, it would be a controversial story and might cause an outrage

i think the storyline sounds good, as in the fact that teenagers sometimes get involved in drugs when things get hard etc, but i just dont want to see it done with demi, leo and aleesha as i think theyve done a good job so far of showing demi as a good mum and this storyline will just show that teenage parents are rubbish which isnt always the case. and yes, ill let you know when i find out any more info

i have just heard about the running away storyline and the storyline devestation for demi and i am a bit confused to what is going to happen so could anyone please help me i will be very grateful thank you
Well alot is gonna happen with the Demi and Leo story line . They run away together , but things get bad when they run out of money so they do the sensible thing and send Aleesha back home.But they still don't have any money, so leo turns to his friend Gavin for money, but instead he gives leo drugs to sell.Leo decides its the only thing to do to get money, so he does it, but when he comes back one day and finds demi, he thinks she is dead, as she has taken an overdose.He then doesn't know what to do, so he takes drugs and kills him self, just after Demi wakes up to find leo dead, and then Demi and leos family turn up.

My gut tells me this will be a SHORT story line, cos they have very very little money, and the baby requires diapers, food, milk ( if Demi isnt breast feeding) plus they will need shelter,, selling drugs is a common occurance for many young run aways.. the 2nd most common thing would be prostitution ( but I am sure that will not be worked into the story line)

If Demi was going to prove she is a good mom, she better put that baby 1st and get her lil behind back to Walford and let her mom and dad help her raise that baby..

No good is going to come of this for sure !!!!!!!!!! I forsee lots and lots of heart ache and alot of blame coming from ALL involved,,:crying:

i like the whole Leo and Demi story i think they make a good couple and should bring up Alesha together.

after reading all this about the drugs i dont think its a good storyline at all. andf i cant believe that Leo dies! They cant kill him off!(in my opinion) i htink the story line isnt quite realistic to them (even though it happens to a lot of young people) i just coudnt see the two of them doing this.

i think it will be great tv though i dont want him to die or for any of thins to happen. you can just imagine the arguments that will occur after wards and who will be to blame. Darren for letting his sister go so easily. Rosie, mickey, trisha, keith and ray for hiding it and not letting them be together. demi for going in the first place and demi could even blame darren for telling her about leo going to scottland beacuse oif they didnt know leo would have gone and still be alive.

its all gonna be so sad! :mad:

i think that its fairly realistic. and i can see the two of them doing this, because they love eachother and think that they should both be there for aleesha which i kind of agree with. but because of their parents (who think they are doing the right thing) it couldnt happen. and well i wont be sorry to see him go

l think that she will guess why he killed him self. because he would have come home and found her unconcious and its not likely he would have just left her and took more drugs and just happen to die like she almosty did. so i think she will guess he found her tried to help her but was distraught thinking she was dead and killed him self.(not sure if that makes any sence.)

i think she would react horrified at first to see him dead(Obviously) but i dont think she'll come the the conclusion they were wrong. and i thnink she will still think they were truley in love and everything. i think she'll be a bit upset and regreat them running away as if leo would have just gone they could betogether when there older and when there parents couldnt do a thing bout it. i dont think she'll hate Leo for getting her pregnant and putting her through all of this. i think she'll still feel the same about him as she did when he was alive.

But i was wondering, why would leo kill him self, he's obviously not very bright. if he was to find Demi dead(or just unconsous thinking she was dead), ok he'd be upset and feel like dying him self but surley that means their daughter is now without a mother, would he really leave aleesha with out a dad aswell. its a bit unresponsible(is that a word)

but it will all be very sad and i just cant believe he is gonna die! :mad:

another thing. i think its tonight but the millers find out some news about leo, that he was involved in drugs in the past whcih means he could do it again and harm demi and aleesha through it(Which he does) and that keith is do mad that he lashes out at leo. But surley if he even gets near to leo it means he know where they are and he'll get demi and aleesha to come home.

so i was wondering have any of you heard this as i only heard from one site, none of the others i've been on. or maybe they got leo and someone else mixed up like the police he lashes out on?

they may not be the most loveable kids in soap but your heart has to go out to them when leo and demi run away with baby aleesha rather than never see her again.just barely 14,leo's trying so hard to be a man and look after and support his little family.but it's all going badly wrongand leo,whose played by philip dowling,is set for one of ee most tragic exitsever...
leo's trying to be grown up but looking after your girlfrien and a child at his age is just to much says 17-year old philip.it's really sad.he's only doing this because he wants to be with them.he love them bothand all along he's wanted to do the right thing.it's only their families that have stopped him.
now those same families are desperate to have them back.leo's mum and demi's parents have reunited to find them-only leo and demi dont know that...
i'd tell leo to go home and try to sort it out,says philip. but he thinks he's in a whole load of trouble and will almost certainly never be allowed to see demi again if he goes back.
with no money whatsoever and only a dirty squat to provide a roof over their heads,leo then makes another really bad decision.
he ask's his friend gavin if he can lend some cash but instead he gives him drugs to sell.
thats something he's done in the past and doesnt want to do it again.but he's desperate and see's it as his only hope.
he thinks he'll do it just the once and then they can get through a few more days.but when drugs are involved no good can come of it,warns philip.
demi's horrified when she finds out that he plans to sell drugs.he feels so ashamed of himself that he suggest she goes home.
but despite her shock,she tells him that she wants to stay with him.instead they both agree to send aleesha hom.it's a very grown up thing for them to do.they're putting the baby first even though it will be heartbreaking for them to be apart from her,explains philip.
demi calls pauline and says she wants to meet with her but makes her promise to tell no one else.then she hands aleesha over to pauline and she and leo vanish again.
but even without the baby to feed,leo and demi are still in a mess.they're stuck in this filthy squat and they still have no money.and ,says philip,things start to go from bad to much much worse...
drugs are involved but i cant tell you what happens,he says.when i read the ending though i cried.it's really seriouse stuff and i hope i've done it justice.
my family keep asking me what happens to leo and demi but i've kept it secret from them too. they'll be as shocked as everyone else when it airs...
philip who also starred in the tv series 2000 acres of sky,makes his exit from eastenders with this storyline and is planning to go back to college with the hope of directing on day.
but ive loved been in eastenders.its always been one of my favourite shows and i feel lucky to have been a part of it, he says and from what we hear, he's done it proud

I think it is really sad that leo dies i think it shows how far he was prepared to go for demi that he takes an overdose because he cant be without her

but he wasnt thinking about alessha i think he thought she was in save hands

i think the only reason he deals drugs is because he has no choice (but their always a choice ) i think the only crime he has committed is trying to do the right think by demi and alessha and he just wanted the chance to be a proper father and a boyfriend but the family fued got in the way and the consequences backedfire on the innocent parties leo and demi

Now lifes will be ruined over a pettie fued alessha will be left with out a dad for nothing and demi will lose the guy she loves and leo parents will lose a son

To run an way wasnt the brighest think to do but they only kids they are naive the needed to put their differences an side and listen to their kids :)

Their storyline sounds like its straight out of Romeo and Juliet. Runaway teenage lovers Demi and Leo have fled Walford with their baby Aleesha to avoid being parted by their warring parents. They've ended up in a south London squat with no money, no hope and no way of ever returning home.

After realising a life on the run is no way to bring up a baby, they make the painful decision to send their daughter back to Walford and, on Tuesday, Demi calls Pauline Fowler to pick up Aleesha. Pauline promises to keep her mission a secret from Demi's parents, Rosie and Keith, although she does her best to plead with the teenagers to return home. But Demi and Leo are convinced everyone's against them and are determined not to be parted.

Aleesha may be safe, but they still need money to live and Leo's soon tempted to return to selling drugs by his friend Gavin. At first he refuses, but Gavin gives him some herroin and finally, to Demi's dismay, Leo decides to make one last deal. But while he's out trying to sell it, he gets beaten up by junkies. When he doesn't return home, Demi's convinced he's abandoned her. Distraught, she tries to block out her pain by trying herroin for the first time. Meanwhile, Leo has recovered from his beating and has spotted a poster put up by Demi's family pleading for their return. Mandy Salter was played by the actress who plays Janine in Bad Girls :) I loved both of these storylines Mandy/Aidan and Punk Mary.

When Leo is out trying to sell a few wraps of herroin, Gavin arrives at the squat to find that his friend is not there. In Leo's absence Gavin makes a move on Demi. To get over her pain Demi overdoses on herroin. Leo thinks that she is dead when he returns and decides that he cannot carry on without her and takes a massive fix of herroin. Before Leo dies, Demi comes to and he realises that he didn't need to do it. But it's too late for Leo. They are both rushed to hospital when Rosie arrives, where Leo dies. Demi is inconsolable when her parents break the news that Leo is dead.

I am beginning to enjoy the Demi and Leo storyline - just as it is ending. I think that the Chrissie/Den storyline has dragged on far too long and it is getting very boring, as is the Alfie/Kat/Mo love triangle - I wish he'd just choose Kat and get it overwith.

Can't wait for the wedding of Sharon and Dennis and the discovery of Den's body though.
