Meanwhile, Hollyoaks fans finally see some justice for Mitzeee Minniver early next month as she is released from prison - just in time for the arrival of her sister Maxine.

Having been granted bail, Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton) causes a stir as she takes her first steps back through the village.

Soon afterwards, Mitzeee has even more bad news to deal with when Jack reveals that Darren has rented out the flat - leaving her homeless. However, her fortunes change when Riley's solicitor reveals that the late footballer left her the pub.

At the same time, Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) turns up in the village and immediately causes chaos by trying to con a number of the local residents.

Maxine attempts to trick Jack Osborne into thinking that he has run her over, while she also targets Frankie, Cindy and Cheryl by selling them make-up boxes which are filled with pebbles!

When Maxine's mischief is exposed, Frankie manhandles her out of The Dog - while a shocked Mitzeee watches on.

Mitzeee is stunned to see her sibling and greets her with a slap, still holding a grudge as Maxine stole her fiancé Gary five years ago.

When she gives the matter some thought, the former glamour girl knows that it would be nice to have some family back in her life again, but can she really forgive Maxine or will it be handbags at dawn?

The village is reeling with excitement from Mitzeee's unexpected return, but will she leave the Osbornes high and dry?

Tuesday

There's trouble in town as newcomer Maxine comes to Hollyoaks and Mitzeee is dealt her most devastating blow yet.

Meanwhile, Joel finds himself in a precarious situation and Theresa finds herself unable to cope. Has he gone too far?

Elsewhere in the village, Cheryl admits to Tony that there is a slight complication with their big day, but will he tell Cindy?

Also today, a heartbroken Ruby is grateful to hear Maddie's ambitious plan.


Wednesday

As Mitzeee prepares to forgive and forget, she finds out that there's still a hidden secret that could change her life forever.

Meanwhile, with Brendan struggling with his inner demons, he seeks refuge in unfamiliar surroundings.

Elsewhere, as Myra struggles financially, she finds charity from the most unlikely source.

Also today, Callum is surprised at Martha's honesty, but is it enough to forgive her?

Thursday

Things heat up for Lacey, who reveals that she's not as innocent as she seems.

At the same time, after realising what she has to lose, Martha is more determined than ever to win her family back.

Meanwhile, Mitzeee is dealt some difficult news, but could a family member have the answer?

Elsewhere, as Esther offers Ruby a heartfelt gift, she is once again thwarted by Maddie.

Also today, Brendan tentatively tries to reconnect with Cheryl, but can she trust him?


Friday

Tony reveals his reservations about the wedding, leaving Cindy livid. Will anyone be able to convince them to continue with their big day?

Meanwhile, with Jacqui believing her relationship with Rhys is on the mend, will Rhys be able to tell her the truth, or will he leave Hollyoaks forever?
