Sharon's not the right age to be her daughter. Besides Cora's lost daughter (Ava) has been cast (played by Clare Perkins).

Anyway Sharon found her real mum yonks ago.

Over on EastEnders, more rows are on the way for Christian Clarke and Syed Masood in the build-up to their departure from the show.

The pair have experienced more than their fair share of problems in recent weeks, but Syed (Marc Elliott) becomes determined to get their relationship back on track in upcoming episodes.

When Syed invites Christian (John Partridge) over for lunch in an attempt to patch things up, he is blissfully unaware that his estranged husband is actually planning to leave Walford and move to America.

Noticing how upbeat his son is, Masood is forced to break the news to a crushed Syed that Christian is leaving.

Later, when Syed sees Christian, he blasts him for keeping secrets and brands him a hypocrite. Throwing his belongings into the Square, Syed then declares that Christian leaving is best for everyone.

It's no secret that both characters will soon be bowing out, but will they be doing so together or separately?

Monday

Cora is in a downbeat mood, but refuses to tell Tanya and Max what is on her mind. Changing the subject, Tanya mentions to her mum that she has received a card from Rainie wishing her luck for the wedding, which has angered her after the way Rainie supposedly behaved with the bridesmaid dress last month.

Later, Tanya pays a visit to Cora in a second attempt to find out what is wrong with her, but is left confused when she finds her sitting alone holding a candle. When Cora explains that she is remembering Tanya's sister, Tanya immediately assumes that she is talking about Rainie. Cora insists it has nothing to do with Rainie and finally confesses that she lied about seeing her a few weeks ago. Angry and confused over this deception, Tanya storms off.

As the day continues, Cora's strange behaviour also begins to concern Patrick. When Cora starts to bake a cake, she informs Patrick that it's a birthday cake for her first-born daughter Ava, who would be 48 today. As Patrick comforts Cora, he is left shellshocked when she confesses that she lied about Ava being stillborn - the truth is that she gave her up for adoption…

Meanwhile, the Masoods are saying their goodbyes to Yasmin when Christian suddenly turns up and begs Amira not to take the youngster away. Christian urges the family to tell Amira how they really feel, but the Masoods all insist it's for the best. Before she leaves, Amira promises Christian that he can continue to be a part of Yasmin's life. Afterwards, a lonely Christian makes a phone call to Jane…

Elsewhere, as Alfie joins the Branning brothers for a drink at The Vic, the drunken banter between the men leads to Max bringing up Derek's old love Jackie Bosch. Derek isn't happy with this, and even less so when Jack questions whether she actually exists. Later, back at the Branning house, Max mentions Jackie again and Lauren suggests that they should look her up online.

Also today, Kat tries to focus her attentions on Alfie despite the recent gesture from her mystery man, while Joey learns not to underestimate Alice as she teams up with the other girls to embarrass him at The Vic.

Tuesday

Patrick wants Cora to confide in him further following their conversation yesterday, but she doesn't want to talk about it any more. Later, Mr Lister arrives at the charity shop alongside an area supervisor, ready to accuse Cora of stealing a bag that he donated yesterday. As Cora is out at the bookies, Patrick tries to resolve matters himself but doesn't succeed.

When Cora finally returns and hears about the accusations, she lets Lister know what she really thinks of him. However, when the supervisor finds Lister's bag in the back room next to a half-empty bottle of rum, he tells Cora that he's firing her.

Meanwhile, Max takes Derek out for a drive, promising that he has a surprise for him. When they pull up, Max announces that he has brought Derek to where Jackie Bosch lives. Although Derek is hesitant, Max tells his brother that this is his chance to finally tell the love of his life how he really feels. When the pair come face-to-face, Jackie is no longer the glamorous girl that Derek remembers, and she also seems confused as to why he's visiting her. Max reminds her that she and Derek are old flames, but Derek is embarrassed as Jackie's memories of their past are very different!

Outside, Derek berates Max for embarrassing him and warns that he won't carry on keeping his brother's secrets if he crosses him again…

Elsewhere, Syed tries to patch things up with Christian by inviting him over for lunch, unaware that Christian is planning to leave Walford and move to America. When Masood sees how upbeat his son is, he is forced to break the news to Syed that Christian intends to move. Later, Christian turns up and Syed blasts him for keeping his intentions secret. Syed then throws Christian's belongings into the Square, telling him that it would be best for everyone if he moved to America.

Also today, Poppy gives Fatboy some dating advice.

Thursday

Syed realises that he is going to have to move back in with his parents, as he cannot afford the rent on his own and he seemingly has no chance of patching things up with Christian. Zainab urges Syed not to give up on his marriage, but he is too stubborn to listen. Christian is also refusing to see Syed, so Lucy and Zainab team up by scheming to get them both in the Argee Bhajee and locking them in!

As the troubled couple have an honest conversation about their recent problems, Christian throws Syed's betrayal in his face. With Christian leaving for the airport soon, will they be able to salvage their marriage? Or will Christian and Syed have to end things for good?

Meanwhile, Max calls Tanya to The Vic after spotting that Cora has had too much to drink there. When Tanya brings her slurring mother home, she once again becomes concerned over her strange behaviour, but Cora won't reveal what is going on. Instead, Tanya visits Patrick hoping for some answers. Patrick doesn't want to betray Cora by revealing too much, but suggests that it could all be about her daughter. Tanya soon realises that it would have been Ava's birthday on Monday, but Patrick corrects her - it was Ava's birthday. Tanya is left reeling as she realises that her sister is still alive…

Elsewhere, Derek tells Max that his problem hasn't gone away as 'they' are demanding more money. However, Derek warns that he won't be helping him out any more after the stunt that Max pulled yesterday. Later, a desperate Max tells Derek that he has no idea how he can raise the cash to solve his 'problem'. Derek replies that if Max agrees to throw Joey out of the house, he might help him after all…

Also today, Alexa and her gang make an unwelcome return and taunt Lola about Lexi being in care. Later, Billy finds Alexa alone and approaches her. Trying to appeal to Alexa's better nature in the hope that she will drop the assault charges, Billy urges her to realise that Lexi deserves to be with her family. Alexa seems affected by Billy's words, but not for long as she accuses him of witness tampering. Lola is furious with Billy for potentially jeopardising their case.

Due to Children In Need, the next episode of EastEnders airs on Monday, November 19.

Christian Clarke and Syed Masood get one last chance to save their relationship as the pair's final EastEnders episode arrives next week.

The couple have hit the rocks in recent days, and as seen in our Sunday picture update, things are only set to get worse when a furious Syed discovers that Christian (John Partridge) is planning to move away to America for a fresh start and hasn't told him.

Accepting that Christian is leaving and his marriage is over, Syed (Marc Elliott) begins making less exciting plans for his own future - realising that he'll have to move back in with his parents as he cannot afford the rent on his own.

Zainab, however, is dismayed that Syed is giving up on his marriage so easily, so she tries to intervene with a little help from Lucy Beale.

As Christian and Syed are too stubborn to speak to each other, Zainab and Lucy scheme to get them both in the Argee Bhajee together. After doing so, they lock the pair in until they reach a solution!

Sitting in the very place they exchanged their wedding vows last month, Christian and Syed have a long and honest conversation about the many problems they have encountered over the course of their relationship.

With Christian due to leave for the airport sooner rather than later, can the pair salvage their marriage in time? Or will it be the end of 'Chryed' for good?

EastEnders airs these scenes on Thursday, November 15 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

EastEnders bad boy Derek Branning becomes enraged in tonight's (November 13) episode as his brother Max interferes in his love life.

Deciding that an irritable Derek (Jamie Foreman) needs something to smile about, Max (Jake Wood) takes action this evening by driving him to the home of his old flame Jackie Bosch, having tracked her down on the internet.

When a nervous Derek comes face-to-face with Jackie again, he is surprised to see that she isn't quite the glamorous girl he remembers. To make matters worse, Jackie doesn't have fond memories of their brief relationship - which seems to have been completely overstated by Derek in his stories.

Derek is left thoroughly humiliated by the meeting and is furious with Max for putting him in this situation. Has Max pushed Derek too far this time?
