Meanwhile, Hollyoaks revisits Ste Hay's aggressive side when his mother Pauline turns up in the village.

Ste (Kieron Richardson) is shocked when Pauline arrives on his doorstep unexpectedly, especially when he learns that his fiancé Doug Carter (PJ Brennan) was the one who invited her.

Pauline tries to play the victim when she realises that Ste wants nothing to do with her, but her nasty attitude soon becomes apparent when she calls her son "queer".

Struggling to cope with the situation, Ste begins to lose control of his own behaviour, and his ex-lover Brendan Brady (Emmett Scanlan) is later startled to see him smashing up the deli.

As Brendan tries to calm him down, Ste is shocked by his own actions and begins to consider that they're not so different after all.

In the end, Brendan saves the day for Ste by paying Pauline to leave the village, and she shows her true colours by taking the money over her son.

Livid that Brendan is still playing such a big role in Ste's life, Doug begins to realise that something needs to be done about him once and for all. But what?

Neil and Bart join forces to try and convince Jono not to join the army, but could Bart's antics jeopardise their friendship?

Meanwhile, Esther decides to stand against Maddie at college, but is she setting herself up for a fall?

Elsewhere, Jacqui is stunned as Rhys makes a shocking declaration.

Also today, the lads turn against Brendan during Riley's memorial and he's surprised by who comes to the rescue.



Tuesday

Ste's mum Pauline pays a visit to the village, causing tension between Ste and Doug. Later, Ste's violent temper makes a return...

Meanwhile, Brendan loses his rag when Cheryl forces him to battle his demons.

Elsewhere, Maddie triumphs as Esther is made to look a fool again and Rosie is not all she seems to be.

Also today, Myra worries about her daughter's marriage as Jacqui visits a solicitor, and Rhys and Cindy's secret gets discovered.



Wednesday

Ste's angry behaviour continues, and Doug is stunned as Brendan continues to come between him and Ste.

Meanwhile, as Cindy is offered a chance to escape, a call from the hospital makes her question everything.

Elsewhere, Jacqui is eager to show her commitment to Rhys, but Myra wants his guts for garters.

Also today, Esther is left humiliated when the teenagers plot a prank against her.


Thursday

As things look bleak for Tony he offers Cindy a way out, and with Myra on the war path, will she take it?

Meanwhile, it looks like Ruby and Jono's reunion could be short-lived when Jono realises the group are expecting him to stay.

Elsewhere, Doug is incensed as Brendan saves the day for Ste again, and decides something needs to be done about Brendan once and for all.

Friday

Jono asks Ruby to make a life-changing decision as he pops the question.

Meanwhile, Cindy has a tough choice to make - Rhys or Tony?

Tony Hutchinson and Cindy Longford's lives are rocked by a shock accident on Hollyoaks next week.

The couple are currently busy making plans to tie the knot, but when Tony (Nick Pickard) heads out to visit the wedding venue, he crashes the minibus he is driving and is left injured.

This accident is separate from the more serious bus crash drama ahead on the Channel 4 soap, but it's certainly not without consequences as Tony is left in a worrying condition afterwards.

Back at home, Tony is horrified when he realises that he is losing his sight following the crash - and a frantic Cindy (Stephanie Waring) is forced to call for medical help.

Consulting a doctor, Tony is told that the loss of his sight is a result of the head trauma that he sustained during the accident.

Waiting to hear whether the problem will be permanent, Tony decides to give Cindy a chance to get out of this relationship while she can - not wanting to feel like a burden to her.

With Cindy's secret lover Rhys (Andrew Moss) putting pressure on her to run away with him, how will she react to her latest dilemma? Is it Rhys or Tony that she really wants?

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Thursday, November 1 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Esther Bloom's bullying hell gets even worse on Hollyoaks next week as the sixth formers team up to target her with a cruel prank.

While Esther (Jazmine Franks) thinks she has finally found a friend by chatting to a girl named Rosie online, viewers will soon see that college bullies Maddie, Ruby and Sinead are behind the 'Rosie' messages - keen to make a fool out of her yet again.

Esther arranges to meet up with her online acquaintance, but as she heads out, she is startled to receive a call from a frightened 'Rosie', who claims she is being followed.

Soon afterwards, Esther is left terrified as she spots what looks like a dead body - and someone grabs her from behind…

Although it soon becomes clear that it's a sick stunt pulled by the sixth formers, Esther has already wet herself with fear, and her humiliation is yet again captured on a mobile phone camera.

Afterwards, Ruby (Anna Shaffer) is plagued with guilt over her role in the scheme, but will she ever show any loyalty to Esther?
