Over on EastEnders, Joey Branning is forced to face the music for his cocky behaviour when Lauren, Lucy and Whitney team up to punish him.

Joey (David Witts) shocks Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) later this month when he casually tells her about the kiss that he recently shared with Whitney. Lauren immediately insists that he should come clean with girlfriend Lucy about what he's done, but when Joey refuses to do so, she persuades Whitney to tell the blonde what happened instead.

Lucy (Hetti Bywater) is furious when she learns that Joey has betrayed her, and she is particularly unimpressed by his carefree attitude towards the whole thing.

Joining forces with Lauren and Whitney (Shona McGarty) with a plan to punish him, Lucy arranges to meet Joey in the park - and fools him into thinking that she has forgiven him by letting him kiss her.

Joey is furious when Lucy then handcuffs him to a bar in the playground, vowing to keep him there for a day.

However, when Lauren hears that Joey could lose his job if he doesn't go back to work, she feels guilty and returns to free him.

As Lauren starts to un-cuff her cousin, the pair get caught up in the moment and a mischievous Joey accuses her of being jealous of his kiss with Whitney.

Livid that Joey is still behaving so arrogantly, Lauren slaps him and walks away - but is there some truth in what Joey is saying?

Monday

As the Masoods try to adjust to life without Zainab, AJ realises that he needs to pull his weight more in the family, so he approaches Phil for a job at The Arches. Phil then gives him the task of fixing up a clapped-out motorbike to see if he's good enough. Soon afterwards, AJ catches Tamwar checking his scars and is unable to hide his horrified reaction. Tamwar loses his temper with AJ in response, telling him that he should leave Walford as he hasn't managed to secure a job to help the family.

Later, things seem to be looking up slightly for the Masoods when AJ rides around the corner on the fixed-up motorbike - his success means that he now has the job with Phil. However, AJ soon confides in Masood by admitting that seeing Tamwar's scars has made him realise how much the family have been through, and he's unsure whether he's strong enough to stick around.

At the same time, Syed and Christian return from their honeymoon in Paris and are shocked to learn that Zainab has left Walford taking Kamil with her.

Meanwhile, Lola is shocked when Phil gives her a consent form to sign which would hand Lexi into his care. She insists that Lexi belongs at home with her and refuses to sign. Later, Lola faces yet more disappointment when Trish arrives alone, explaining that Lexi is staying where she is today as she is poorly. Trish hands Lola a new photograph of Lexi instead. Upset at seeing how much Lexi has changed, an upset Lola pays a visit to Phil and finally signs the form.

Elsewhere, it's Sharon's birthday and Phil causes mischief by falsely suggesting to Jack that it's a significant one for her. This spurs Jack on to throw a surprise party for Sharon, and it's only when everyone is gathered at R&R that Phil tells Jack that Sharon is 43 - it's not a special birthday. Jack is disappointed when Sharon admits that she hates surprise parties, but will she appreciate the effort that he's gone to nevertheless?

Also today, Lauren and Joey help to design a new flyer for the car lot. As they spend time together, Joey tells Lauren that he shared a kiss with Whitney the other night.

Tuesday

Phil finds himself with even more issues to worry about when he learns that some immigration officers are looking for him, wanting to ask questions about the decorators he hired for The Vic. He consults his solicitor Jimmie for advice and hears that he'll need to keep his businesses 100% legit if he wants the residency case for Lexi to be successful. Jimmie also gives Phil food for thought by suggesting that he'd have a much better case if he was in a stable relationship.

Later at the R&R, Phil asks Sharon to cover for him if the immigration officers turn up. Not long afterwards, they do arrive at The Vic and begin their line of questioning. However, Sharon saves the day by suddenly appearing and taking charge of the situation, handing the officers an invoice for the decorating and revealing that Phil used a British agency to hire the labourers.

Once the officers have gone, it seems that Jimmie's previous advice is still on Phil's mind as he tells Sharon that she'd be the perfect person to impress social services. A laughing Sharon points out that they're not a couple, but she is shellshocked when Phil declares that they could be...

Meanwhile, it is Tamwar's birthday but Masood has forgotten due to the turbulent events of the past week. Tamwar arrives at The Vic for drinks with Poppy and Fatboy, and it's not long before AJ and Syed join them. Later, Masood turns up at the pub and feels awful when he realises that he has forgotten Tamwar's special day. Tension builds when Masood questions why Syed was invited, but it's Tamwar who loses his temper by shouting that all he really wants for his birthday is for them to all sit down and enjoy a drink together.

Elsewhere, Lauren feels awkward around Joey following his confession the previous day - and she isn't best pleased when Max offers him a job at the car lot. Noticing Lauren's mood, Joey asks what her problem is - and he cockily dismisses her when she suggests that he should tell Lucy about his infidelity.

Also today, Kim struggles to meet the demands of the B&B as Denise is working extra shifts at the Minute Mart, while Cora enlists Jack's help in finding Rainie after Tanya reveals that she'd like her sister to be a bridesmaid at the wedding.

Thursday

Phil's big idea seems to have been thwarted as Sharon is refusing to lie to social services to help get Lexi back. However, Phil does receive some good news when he hears that the murder charge against Ben has been dropped and he'll now be sentenced for manslaughter instead. Still focused on the residency case, Phil suggests that Ben could marry Lola - pointing out that they'd look like a proper family that way. Jimmie agrees to ask Ben if he will let Phil visit him.

Later, Jimmie returns to tell Phil that Ben has agreed to see him this afternoon. However, Billy isn't happy at the idea of Ben being involved in Lexi's life. Soon afterwards, Lola is horrified when Phil informs her that he's going to tell Ben that he is Lexi's father. As Phil drives away, Lola begs him not to do it - but will Phil listen?

Meanwhile, Cora now has a mobile number for Rainie thanks to Jack, so she leaves a voicemail message to her daughter about meeting up. Later, Cora waits for the meeting with Rainie and she has even brought the bridesmaid dress along to show her. However, things don't go to plan as a woman named Olivia arrives, introducing herself as Rainie's sponsor.

Olivia explains that Rainie is doing really well with a new life and boyfriend, but she doesn't want to see her. She then hands over a letter from Rainie which confirms that she wants to stay away from Cora, believing she triggers many of her bad habits. A furious Cora then lets out her frustration by destroying the bridesmaid dress.

Elsewhere, Lauren persuades Whitney to come clean with Lucy about the kiss with Joey. Joey insists that the kiss was meaningless, but Lucy orders him to find somewhere else to sleep tonight

Friday

Lola is relieved when Phil informs her that he didn't tell Ben the truth about Lexi after all. Soon afterwards, Jimmie advises Phil that they'll need to find another way to prove to the court that they have a good support network. Phil then surprises everyone by suggesting that Ian could help, but the Walford businessman still seems fragile and is reluctant to be involved. Even Sharon suggests that Ian should stay out of it.

Later, Ian makes his choice by telling Phil that he's not in a fit state to take part in this. Phil is annoyed when he learns that Sharon was the one who convinced Ian to make this decision. In the end, Phil makes a shocking decision as he secretly orders Jimmie to put Sharon's name down on the form - as his fiancée!

Meanwhile, Lauren, Whitney and Lucy decide to team up to punish Joey following his recent behaviour. Lucy arranges to meet Joey at the park and she fools him into thinking that she's forgiven him, but then she handcuffs him to a bar in the playground! Lauren and Whitney soon join Lucy and they all enjoy their revenge, vowing to keep him there for a day.

Later, Lauren turns up to un-cuff Joey as Max seems ready to sack him for his disappearing act. Once free, Joey's cocky behaviour continues as he tells Lauren that she was jealous because he kissed Whitney, not her. A furious Lauren slaps Joey, but is there some truth in what he's saying?

Elsewhere, Derek is devastated when Max chooses Jack over him to be best man, but he tries to cover up his hurt. Back at home, Derek discovers that a handwritten letter for Carol has been delivered and when he opens it, he sees that it's from David Wicks…

Also today, Cora lies to Tanya by claiming that Rainie is off the rails again and destroyed the bridesmaid dress, while Masood reaches out to Syed by inviting him to the Eid feast along with Christian and Yasmin.
