Hollyoaks fans will be introduced to Lynsey Nolan's brother later this month, Digital Spy can confirm.
Actor Alan Turkington (pictured right) has been cast in the guest part of Eoghan Nolan, who is expected to be on screen for four episodes.
While exact storyline details have yet to be officially confirmed, Eoghan's arrival could tie in with recent speculation that Lynsey's funeral will soon take place now that the investigation into her murder has ended.
Viewers may also be keen to find out about the history that Eoghan shares with Cheryl and Brendan from their time in Ireland together.
Hollyoaks airs Eoghan's first episode on Monday, October 22 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
