Coming up on Emmerdale, the moment that the Maceys have been waiting for finally arrives as Declan's festival kicks off.

A number of the village's residents attend the music event after bagging tickets for themselves, while Declan (Jason Merrells) is delighted by his big-name performers as he introduces The Proclaimers on the stage.

Scouting For Girls headline the festival too, with a number of local bands also on the set list.

While the event looks set to be remembered as a huge success, a Home Farm plot seems to be afoot as Declan and Katie (Sammy Winward) are scheming against Megan and Robbie.

Megan and Robbie look forward to leaving for London with a healthy profit after the festival, but Declan secretly vows that they won't get a penny after everything that's happened recently. Who will end up with the last laugh?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, October 11 at 7pm on ITV1.

Monday

Chas tries to act normal when Diane asks if she thinks Cameron burgled The Woolpack. She denies it could have been him, but Diane is still not convinced. At the same time, Cain is on a mission to prove that Cameron is lying, as he is not satisfied with Debbie's answers over where Cameron was on the night of the burglary. Cameron insists to Debbie that he had nothing to do with the robbery, but it's clear her trust has been questioned.

Later, Cain is determined to get the truth from Cameron, but is stopped in his tracks when Chas steps in - falsely claiming that she was the one who took the money from the pub, unaware she has been overheard by Diane. Cain is unconvinced as Chas lies to Diane that she took the money because she'd got into debt with the wedding. Chas is distraught as a furious Diane explains she will keep quiet for Dan and Debbie's sake, but once the wedding is over, Chas will be out…

Meanwhile, Charity enjoys the rift between Carl and Jimmy as Jimmy discovers they're reducing Edna's working days. Edna is upset, while Jimmy is furious they have gone behind his back. Later, Charity is intrigued when she gets a text from Carl wanting to see her. She's stunned when he suggests that she has been asking the wrong brother to sell his share of the business. Charity begins to feel excited at her future when Carl offers her first refusal on his half of Emmerdale Haulage.

Elsewhere, Val asks Kerry if she could do some chores. She later struggles to hold her frustration any longer and snaps at Kerry for being lazy.

Tuesday

Cain wants to know what's going on with Chas and why she needed the money, but she is adamant that she doesn't need his help. Cain then tells Debbie it was Chas who robbed the pub, and apologises to Cameron. Debbie is concerned and wants answers from Chas.

Soon afterwards, Chas is uneasy when Diane suggests that she should book a honeymoon, because she and Dan are straight out after the wedding. Chas feels even worse as Debbie has a go at her for lying and letting Cameron get dragged into the accusations. However, Debbie does want to help and hugs Chas. Later, Cameron is at a loss when Chas tells him that Carl will not give up now - he wants the one thing he can't have…

Meanwhile, Charity is delighted when Rishi suggests they check the books and the contract to ensure that Carl's offer is fair. Edna is suspicious when they arrive at the haulage office wanting to go through the files. Later, Charity is under pressure as Carl wants an answer by the end of the day, while Edna is alarmed as she clocks the look between Carl, Rishi and Charity - knowing something is going on. In the end, Charity and Carl finally shake on a deal - £50,000 cash. Carl confides that he wants a fresh start away from the village.

Elsewhere, Declan is delighted as the stage is being set up at the festival. He is taken aback by Katie's vehemence about getting rid of Megan and Robbie. Declan soon offers Megan a last lifeline, but is frustrated when she wants Robbie to be a part of it all. Declan darkens and is determined that she won't get a penny. Later, Katie suggests a double wedding reception with Dan and Chas, but Declan is distracted - cooking up a plan of his own in order to deceive Megan.

Also today, Amy asks Kerry to go to the festival with her.

Wednesday

Jimmy voices his worries to Nicola about Carl and Charity being suspiciously nice to each other, knowing something is amiss. Jimmy then interrupts Carl as he winds up Cameron, taking him aside for a chat. Jimmy is shocked to learn that it is Chas who is getting under Carl's skin. He worries about how bad things might get with the pair of them and tries to talk to his brother.

Jimmy tells Carl that he is kidding himself over Chas, reminding him what happened with their dad - but Carl seems obsessed and is determined they will be together. Later, Chas is under pressure as she stalls Carl by asking for more time to get her head around things.

Meanwhile, Katie finally manages to tell Declan her idea of a double wedding reception, but accuses him of being snobby when he's unimpressed with sharing the day with Dan and Chas. Declan is fed up with arguing as Katie tells him that she's hurt he won't even consider it. She is taken aback but pleased when he eventually agrees.

At the same time, Declan relishes the fact that his plan to rip off Megan is coming together, and he tells Katie that Megan would be an idiot not to settle.

Elsewhere, Dan is chuffed when Bob gives him two festival tickets as a way of celebrating his stag do, while Jai is furious to see Ali, Ruby and Rachel with designer shopping bags - realising how his money is being spent.

Thursday

Jimmy is at the end of his tether with his brother, and is worried about the situation with Carl and Chas. Later, Jimmy is thrown when he sees a 'For Sale' sign being put up outside his own house. He questions Carl, reminding him that family is all they have left, but he is shaken by Carl's harsh words. Jimmy feels angry, broken and bereft.

In The Woolpack, Charity is intrigued further by what Carl's plans are, with him wanting to sell the house and his share of the business. Later, Jimmy is hurt and angry when Carl explains that he doesn't care about him and is happy to throw him out.

Meanwhile, Megan is angry with Katie when a lady from the stables comes to complain about the noise from the festival as it's disturbing the horses. Katie is later shaken when Megan tells her that she needs to know her place and Declan is not interested in her pitiful stables. As the festival is being set up backstage, Megan snaps again and Declan intervenes. He is secretly amused that Katie threatened to hit Megan and they smile at each other - a hint that not everything is as it seems.

Later, Katie thanks Elaine for her earlier showdown about the horses, and Elaine heads off to enjoy her VIP festival ticket. Declan tells Katie they've sold all the festival tickets and she can now sue him for the full £250,000. Katie is victorious after speaking to her solicitor and tells him that she can take Declan for everything.

Elsewhere, Adam flirts with Victoria as he heads to the festival with her and Amy, Dan is concerned about the feud between Diane and Chas, Chas dreads what Carl's about to do as he is adamant they'll be together, while Rishi helps Rachel move her things to Tenants.

Jimmy tries to come to terms with what is happening as a cold Carl tells him that he needs to stand on his own two feet. Nicola is crestfallen when Jimmy tells her that Carl is kicking them out, but Rodney says they're welcome to stay with him as long as they need. At Mill Cottage, Jimmy is shocked to find Carl has packed his things, unable to comprehend the depth of his betrayal. Jimmy knows it's the end of his relationship with his brother.

Later, Carl is on the phone booking two long-haul flights as Jimmy leaves with his suitcases. Now a broken man, Jimmy enters Connelton with the last of his things. He determinedly tells Nicola that he's going to sell all his shares to Charity and will enjoy watching Carl suffer.

Meanwhile, Chas is reluctant when Katie tells her about the double wedding idea, but she is forced into accepting as Dan is ecstatic. Dan is overjoyed about the new bigger shared wedding, but Chas is worried. She covers that she'll have to bring her hen party forward and adds that everything seems to be happening at the same time. Chas can't help her growing sense of dread.

Elsewhere, Katie and Declan watch as the first bands The Proclaimers and Scouting for Girls are about to start at the festival, and she tells him how proud she is. Megan is scornful as she and Robbie look forward to leaving for London after the festival, expecting there will be a healthy profit. Later, Katie goes to greet her solicitor and Declan pretends to Robbie that he doesn't know who he is - loving being in control.

Also, Victoria flirts with Robbie to get backstage passes and Adam is surprised to feel jealous, while Jai berates Rachel for spending his money on a shopping spree - but is caught when she works out that Rishi knows about the baby being Jai's.

Friday

Charity feigns reluctance when Jimmy comes to her wanting to sell his share of the business but shakes his hand, barely able to conceal her delight. At the same time, Chas is intrigued to discover that Carl has thrown Nicola and Jimmy out, wondering what he is going to do next. Soon afterwards, Chas is in turmoil when Carl wants to see her later. Dan watches as she finishes her make-up, thinking it's for her hen party - but she goes to visit Carl and is shocked to see that he has prepared a romantic candlelit meal for them both.

Chas is stunned when he hands her back the cash, but is stopped in her tracks as he tells her there is one condition... Later, Chas finally makes it to her hen party at The Woolpack and covers that she was shopping for bridesmaids' presents.

Meanwhile, Robbie is irked by Megan's attitude as she dismisses his suspicions that Declan is up to something. Later, Robbie is on the phone when he finds a letter and is unable to believe what he's reading. He goes to look for Megan, but he can't talk to her in front of Declan.

In the festival beer tent, Declan is caught when Robbie shows him the solicitors letter about Katie suing him, and Robbie is unsure where his loyalties lie as Declan offers him £10,000 to keep the matter quiet from his mum, saying she'll only let him down again.

Elsewhere, Diane tells Moira about Chas stealing the money, and says how hard it is being let down by someone you've treated as a daughter.

they are just building him up more and more to be a nasty piece of work, and then cutting all ties with the village.

It would be a good storyline if he was murdered and because he had cut all ties, everyone just thought he'd moved away?

but as we know the vilalge 'is moved' his death must be known by all

Emmerdale's Diane Sugden is in for a shock this evening (October 8) as she discovers that her business partner Chas Dingle has betrayed her.

Tonight's episode sees Chas (Lucy Pargeter) left in a panic as her half-brother Cain is determined to make Cameron Murray pay for the break-in at The Woolpack, convinced that he is guilty.

Desperate to protect Cameron, Chas tells a shocked Cain that she was the real culprit and acted alone. However, Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) is listening in to the pair's conversation and is livid over what she hears.

Storming in to confront Chas, Diane demands an explanation for her actions - pointing out that she would have lent the money if Chas needed it so badly. With Chas struggling to defend herself, will this be the end of her working relationship with Diane?

If it is to be Carl will everything about Chas and Cameron come out before he dies, otherwise there is no point to the boring plot between Chas & Carl. I hope it's not Carl that goes.
