Michael's relationship with Janine breaking down coincides with Alfie finding out about Kat's affair but I think Michael is too obvious lately to be Kat's lover
Over on EastEnders, Tyler Moon finds himself at the centre of Branning family dramas as he returns to Walford following his work trip.
Tyler (Tony Discipline) is in for a shock as he arrives back on Albert Square, finding out that his brother Anthony is missing and that Derek now owns the antiques emporium.
Keen to repair his fractured relationship with Joey (David Witts), Derek has given him the keys to the Moons' former workplace, telling him that he can turn it into any business he likes.
Joey is still reluctant to build bridges with his father, though, so he tells Tyler that they should team up to teach Derek a lesson after what happened to Anthony.
Tyler immediately says that he isn't getting involved in Joey's vendetta, which leaves Derek intrigued. Keen to play Joey at his own game by making him jealous, a scheming Derek then offers Tyler a stall in the market, claiming that it's his way of saying sorry.
Joey is not at all impressed when Tyler takes up Derek's offer. Tyler assures him that it's just a business arrangement, but when Joey calls him Derek's lapdog and insults Anthony, Tyler punches him.
Watching the violent altercation, Derek is pleased that his plan seems to be working…

Michael hopes to hide the news that Janine has left Walford, but it's not long before the gossip begins to spread thanks to an indiscreet Billy. When Syed hears that Janine is gone, he is concerned as she was supposed to be paying him for the cleaning products today. Syed approaches Michael in The Vic to find out what is going on, which leads to more awkward questions about Janine when an inquisitive Jean overhears.
Michael promises to settle the deal directly with Syed later that day, but when the two men meet as planned, Michael rips up the cheque. Ruthless Michael tells Syed that he shouldn't have gone behind his back to do the deal with Janine in the first place, and nor should he have discussed his private life in public. Syed is then left panicking over how he'll be able to pay the supplier.
As the day continues, Michael tries to proceed with his plan to buy 89B from Lucy, but he soon hears shocking news from his solicitor - Janine has transferred all of the money from the accounts. Shortly afterwards, Billy arrives with a document revealing that Butchers Joints is closing down. When Michael rushes round there, he's horrified to find that the office has been boarded up…
Meanwhile, Tanya tells Cora and Sharon that she doesn't want to put any pressure on Max to set a date for the wedding, especially as he's been acting strangely recently. However, Cora has brought over a wedding dress that needs to be dry cleaned for the charity shop, and Tanya can't resist holding the gown in front of herself. The fact that Tanya is dreaming about her own special day doesn't go unnoticed by Max. Later, Max presents Tanya with a gift in front of Cora and Sharon. When Tanya opens it, she is confused to find a 2012 cat calendar - but Max shows her that December 24 is circled - the perfect date for their wedding…
Elsewhere, Lola tells Billy that she wants to see Jay, but Billy warns her to stay away from him. Lola ignores Billy's advice and tries to speak to her former friend, but Jay also doesn't think it'd be a good idea for her to be seen with him. Later, though, Jay arrives to see Lola while she is busy babysitting Scarlett for Michael. It transpires that Billy advised him to come round, having had a change of heart. Jay and Lola then decide to move on and be friends again.
Also today, Jean is busy holding the fort at The Vic, while Zainab is shocked when Tamwar reveals that the restaurant has been struggling financially.
Tuesday
Lola has a new social worker named Trish Barnes, who turns up unannounced. At first, Lola isn't even at the house to see her, as she is out buying emergency nappy supplies for Lexi. Billy becomes even more nervous about what Trish will think when Lola has Jay with her when she returns. Soon afterwards, Trish starts asking questions about Billy's employment status, having noticed that Butchers Joints has closed down. However, Billy assures her that he still has a job in the cleaning department, meaning that there is still a secure income for the household.
Later, Billy manages to convince Michael to carry on with the cleaning company. However, he has some tough challenges ahead as many of the clients have already switched to another firm. Billy manages to get back the B&B and the R&R, but when he shares news of the day's successes with Michael, the ruthless businessman has a change of heart - showing him the door and declaring that he is no longer employed…
Meanwhile, Christian wants to set an earlier date for his wedding to Syed, believing that the profits from the recent cleaning product sale will fund the ceremony. Syed is reluctant to tell Christian the truth about how the deal fell through, so he uses Zainab as an excuse not to rush things - claiming that she needs to get used to the idea.
Later, Syed's lies become more tricky to maintain when Zainab asks him to help Tamwar pay an urgent bill for the Argee Bhajee. Still feeling unable to tell the truth, Syed agrees. His troubles then get worse when Zainab reveals that Christian came to talk to her, and she is thrilled they are setting an earlier date for their wedding.
Elsewhere, Joey hosts a small party at the antiques emporium after Derek hands him the keys, encouraging him to turn it into any business he likes once the old stock is shifted. Joey and Lauren soon start using the stock as target practice, but a newly-returned Tyler is livid when he walks in on their fun. How will he react to the news of Anthony's departure and Derek now owning the emporium?
Also today, Sharon and Jack share a kiss as they enjoy a date together, but Jack decides that things shouldn't go any further tonight - declaring that he really likes Sharon and wants to take things slowly.
Thursday
Phil becomes depressed when a letter that he sent to Ben in prison is returned to him. He considers using booze to ease his pain and confides in Sharon about how he's feeling, but she declares that he needs to get a grip and focus on the things he has going for him in Walford.
At the same time, Lucy faces fresh financial problems when Michael reveals that he no longer wishes to buy 89B, but does want the remainder of the money that Ian owes Janine. When Ian finds out what is going on, he suggests with a heavy heart that they should put the market stall up for sale. A self-pitying Ian later tells Phil that the loss of the stall is the least he deserves after what he put Lucy through, but Phil echoes Sharon's advice by telling him to stop feeling sorry for himself and get a grip.
Taking control of the situation, Phil informs Lucy that he'll get her the money she needs to pay back Michael, explaining that he doesn't want Ian to spiral into depression again due to the loss of the stall. With one crisis averted, Phil decides to get his own life back on track by concentrating on The Vic. Marching into the pub, he demands that the prices should be increased and the music should be turned up! As he gets back behind the bar, is Phil getting back to his old self?
Meanwhile, Masood worries about Syed when he overhears him having a heated phone conversation with his supplier. Later, the Masoods gather to celebrate Christian and Syed's civil partnership after they finally set a date - October 16. However, tension mars the happy occasion when Tamwar discovers that Zainab has asked Syed to be his business partner. A bitter Tamwar tells Zainab that she obviously doesn't have faith in him.
Elsewhere, Joey wants to cause more problems for his father, so he tells Tyler that they should team up to teach him a lesson after what happened to Anthony. However, when Derek hears that Tyler is refusing to get involved in Joey's vendetta, he is intrigued and comes up with an idea to play his son at his own game. Derek tells Tyler that he wants to offer him a stall in the market, and it can be his way of saying sorry. Will Tyler realise Derek has the ulterior motive of wanting to make Joey jealous?
Also today, Michael realises that he needs a way to make money and provide for Scarlett, Trish Barnes ups the number of visits she has planned to keep an eye on Lexi, while Lola and Jay come up with a new business idea and break into Butcher's Joints to steal the cleaning client list.
Friday
Syed spends an unsuccessful afternoon cold-calling cleaning companies in the desperate hope of shifting his stock. He eventually confides in AJ about his financial problems, and his fun-loving uncle's advice is not to worry about it - he should just avoid whoever he owes the money to! Taking this on board, Syed calls the supplier and confesses that he doesn't have the money yet, but will be in touch when he does.
Later, Tamwar tells Syed that he hasn't paid the mortgage for the restaurant in three months. Keen to help his brother, Syed looks through the accounts and manages to move some funds around, which will allow Tamwar to pay the mortgage. Syed then asks a delighted Tamwar to be his best man.
Towards the end of the day, Syed sends Tamwar home when the angry cleaning stock supplier turns up at the restaurant. Under severe pressure to clear his debt, Syed writes a cheque for £10,000 and signs it with 'Tamwar Masood'…
Meanwhile, Joey isn't best pleased when he learns that Tyler has taken up Derek's offer of a stall. Joey is convinced that Derek is only doing this to make him jealous, but when Tyler doesn't agree with his theory, Joey calls him Derek's lapdog and also insults Anthony. As a furious Tyler punches Joey, Derek is watching on and is pleased that his plan is working. Later, Derek and Tyler toast to their future as business partners, although Tyler still feels guilty about Anthony.
Elsewhere, Lola and Jay mark their handprints and Lexi's footprint in paint at the playground to symbolise their friendship, but Trish Barnes rebukes Lola for playing with paint around the baby as it's full of harmful chemicals, Billy prepares to pay a visit to William and Janet, leaving Patrick behind as the responsible adult moving in while he is away, while Sharon is shocked when a drunken Denise tells her about the history between Tanya and Jack.
