Coming up on Emmerdale, Kerry Wyatt finds herself with a love interest in the village as she spends the night with Andy Sugden.
The story begins when Kerry (Laura Norton) angers daughter Amy one time too many, leaving viewers to wonder whether she has burned her bridges for good.
As Kerry's ex-boyfriend turns up in the Dales, the troubled mum is mortified as she has previously lied to Amy that he used to beat her up. Amy quickly uncovers the deception, while the ex reveals that Kerry spun him a web of lies about Amy too!
After Amy screeches at her mum to pack her bags and leave, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) takes pity on Kerry by offering her a place to stay. It's initially just for one night, but Andy is soon surprised by how much he can open up to Kerry about his past, and so he invites her to stay for longer.
Andy supports Kerry further when Amy decides to leave the village to visit Hannah for a while. To Kerry's dismay, Val and Pollard refuse to reveal where Amy has gone - and also tell her that she's no longer needed at the B&B.
Grateful for Andy's caring behaviour, Kerry cooks him a meal to say thank you. When Andy then makes it clear that he wants to spend the night with her, the pair share a passionate kiss…

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Wednesday, September 5 at 7pm on ITV1.
Monday
Amy is upset that Kerry didn't come after her and instead remained flirting with Andy in The Woolpack. Soon afterwards, Amy is seething when Kerry admits that she stole money from Pollard. Kerry explains her reasons and says that she has been grafting at the B&B to pay it off.
Just as mother and daughter are getting along again, Kerry's ex-boyfriend turns up. Kerry is mortified, having lied to Amy that he used to beat her up. Amy quickly realises that Kerry has lied to her yet again, as the ex-boyfriend reveals that Kerry spun him a web of lies about Amy too. Amy screeches at Kerry to pack her bags and leave. Later, Kerry is crying at the bus stop when Andy pulls up. She convinces him to take her in for the night, and Andy reluctantly agrees…
Meanwhile, Marlon arrives at The Woolpack and Gabby publicly announces to the pub she hates him. Diane intervenes, warning Gabby not to speak to her mum or Marlon that way. Gabby is left to think about her actions and later cries in Laurel's arms, saying that she wants things to return to the way they were. When she threatens to run away, Laurel is at a loss about what to do.
Later, Diane tells Ashley to be strong for the children because they really need him now. At the same time, Sandy and Laurel argue, and Sandy turns angrily on Marlon.
Elsewhere, the magnitude of Paddy and Rhona's plan to leave begins to sink in, while Alex offers to move out of Moira's and she is surprised to find herself feeling jealous.
Tuesday
Despite still being irked by Robbie, Katie is amused when he flaunts Cheryl - a 'Katie lookalike girl' - around Home Farm, knowing that he is trying to wind her up. Katie is deliberately extra nice to her. Soon afterwards, Robbie escorts Cheryl to the pub, in a second attempt to rattle Katie. The resemblance between Cheryl and Katie does not go unnoticed by Diane, who writes it off as a simple crush. However, Katie knows that it's another power game, just like his lingering kiss of last week.
Later, Katie is amused when Cheryl acknowledges Robbie's arrogance as his plan has failed. When Robbie then hears Katie telling Megan about Cheryl, it is him who becomes wound up. He antagonises Katie, pointing out that regardless of what she thinks about him, it is Declan's opinion that counts and he rates him. Katie becomes more determined than ever to do something about Robbie…
Meanwhile, Victoria is angry with Andy for letting Kerry stay the night. She wants Kerry gone before Amy finds out. Later, Andy is surprised by how much he can open up to Kerry about his past, and Kerry is chuffed when Andy invites her to stay on another night. At David's shop, Victoria tells Amy the truth about Kerry staying. When Kerry interrupts, Amy issues a warning to her - the more she follows her, the more she will walk away. She adds that she doesn't need Kerry as she sees Val as her mother.
Later, back at Pollard's, Amy says goodbye to Val and Pollard as she is going to London to visit Hannah - and she is hoping Kerry will give up and leave while she is gone. As they both wave her off, Val warns Pollard that Amy might have gone, but she has not finished with Kerry yet…
Elsewhere, Alex realises that he has two women on the go, cringing when Victoria suggests that she should move into Butler's to get away from Kerry.
Wednesday
Declan picks up on the tension between Katie and Robbie. However, Robbie feigns innocence, pretending that he is worried about how he may have offended Katie when he gave her a quick peck on the cheek recently. Katie is unimpressed when Declan suggests that she may have got it wrong about Robbie coming onto her. Megan's dismissive attitude towards the situation frustrates Declan, but she quietly warns Robbie to stay away from Katie.
Later, Katie is furious when Declan tells her and Robbie to sort it out between themselves. Robbie then warns Katie to stop stirring things between him and Declan, making Katie angrier. Soon afterwards, when Katie speaks to Gennie about the situation, it's clear that she is forming a plan to get Robbie out of her life…
Meanwhile, Andy feels guilty as he says goodbye to Kerry. Later, Kerry is gutted to hear that Amy has left and she is no longer needed at the B&B. She tries to talk to Pollard about contacting her daughter, but he refuses to reveal where Amy has gone. Back at Dale View, Andy comforts a crying Kerry, telling her not to give up. Grateful for his support, she cooks Andy dinner to say thank you and he asks her to stay the night, before kissing her passionately…
Elsewhere, Alex feels pressured when Victoria suggests they should buy a place of their own, while Zak is worried when the psychiatric nurse recommends he reduces his medication, but is pleased when Lisa encourages him.
Thursday
Declan feels bad as he leaves Katie alone with Robbie and heads off for a meeting. When Robbie makes reference to the fact that it will be just the two of them, Katie makes him aware that she will be at the stables all morning. Intrigued as to why she has told him, Robbie makes his way to the stables and offers Katie a hand. He then declares that he's sure she had just been giving him the eye at the house. Aware that the CCTV is recording, Katie is pleased that Robbie is falling for her plan.
Katie goes on to ask Robbie why he winds her up so much. She explains that she once had a boyfriend rather like him who also wound her up, and Robbie is chuffed. Robbie attempts to kiss Katie, but she blocks his move. Realising Katie has been playing games, Robbie becomes angry and aggressive towards her - grabbing her threateningly and twisting her arm behind her back. Despite having thought she was in control, his actions leave Katie shaken and tearful. Declan arrives home to be given the CCTV footage. Katie's plan of setting Robbie up has worked…
Meanwhile, Victoria comes downstairs and is surprised to find Kerry in Andy's shirt. She can't resist having a go at Kerry, blaming her for Amy leaving. Kerry gets Andy on side, offering to be 'buddies' with no strings attached. Later, Val is furious to hear that Kerry has spent the night at Andy's. She is angered further when Kerry admits that she isn't going anywhere. Diane worries that Andy doesn't know what he is getting himself into when he stands up for Kerry.
Elsewhere, Victoria tells Alex that she wants their relationship to be out in the open, while Zak is hurt when Sam asks Cain to look after Samson even though he had offered.
Declan is furious after watching the CCTV footage from the stables, and immediately starts stuffing Robbie's belongings into bags. Robbie attempts to defend himself and when Megan arrives, Katie suggests that she should take a look at the footage and decide for herself. Megan is surprised by her instinctive feelings towards Robbie when Declan says he has to leave. She defends her son threatening that if he leaves, she will too.
Declan insists that Robbie's future is not up for negotiation, so Megan worries that Declan might call her bluff and let her leave. However, they both realise that this would bankrupt the both of them. Katie looks on in horror as Declan is forced to let Robbie stay in order to avoid financial ruin. All of her efforts have been in vain…
Meanwhile, Alex tells Andy and Adam how he and Victoria are back together, but in front of Moira he suggests he is single. Adam is confused by this, telling him to make his mind up, while Andy warns that he better not mess Victoria around again. Later, Alex comes across Moira in the kitchen and is unable to resist when she kisses him.
Alex then makes his way to The Woolpack, where Victoria is waiting. Victoria tells Diane that she and Alex are buying a house together, and Alex worries about how to tell Moira. Using the excuse of how he wants to be able to pay his way, Alex suggests to Victoria that they should rent a house for the time being.
Elsewhere, Sam is concerned about upsetting Zak when Cain says that he might have dropped him in it, while Kerry is touched by how much Andy is looking out for her, even when he hears that she stole from Pollard.
Friday
Katie is furious with Declan for not throwing Robbie out. Megan later tells Robbie that he must apologise to Declan. Realising he has no other option, Robbie apologises, promising to stay out of his and Katie's way in future. However, Katie has stormed off and Declan continuously phones her, desperate to make things up.
Soon afterwards, Katie meets Gennie in the café, explaining that Declan will have to work hard to win her round. Nicola interrupts their conversation with a note from Declan, and Katie is shocked to read that her bags have been packed. She leaves for Home Farm confused and angry at Declan, presuming that he has taken Robbie's side. However, Declan wants to know if she trusts him - explaining that if she doesn't, there is no point in their relationship.
Suddenly out of the blue, Declan proposes - promising that he needs Megan for the festival, but once it's over there will be no need for either Robbie or Megan to stay around. Katie agrees to marry Declan, shocking both Megan and Robbie, who thought their relationship was on the rocks. Declan conspiratorially explains to Katie that Megan and Robbie will have no idea what is going to hit them…
Meanwhile, Alex attempts to break it off with Moira, but is interrupted by Adam and Andy. He tries again later, but she plays with him - realising what he is trying to do. They have one last dalliance, but Alex is not enjoying the deceit anymore. As they lie in each other's arms, they agree to go their separate ways. However, Andy walks in and catches them having a last kiss.
Andy is livid and Moira is shocked to hear that Alex and Victoria are back together. Andy tells Alex that he must finish with Victoria immediately. When Adam returns home, Moira and Alex are relieved that Andy hasn't told him. Moira explains to Alex that he better finish with Victoria before Andy breaks it to her and makes everything worse.
Elsewhere, Carl and Charity suggest that Dan isn't suitable, but Chas makes it clear that she is marrying him.

Emmerdale star Sammy Winward has tipped her character Katie Sugden to make it down the aisle with partner Declan Macey.
Declan proposes to Katie next week, keen to prove his loyalty after the blonde falls out with his extended family members Megan and Robbie.
Teasing Declan's proposal, Winward told All About Soap: "She thinks he's joking, so she's like, 'Thanks for the offer - I'm just going to have a bath now'.
"But he insists that he's serious and gets out this massive diamond ring, and she says yes!"
Asked where things will go next, the actress replied: "I don't expect it will all go smoothly, but I think they will get married in the end. After all, Katie genuinely does love Declan. If she didn't, she'd have walked away a long time ago."
News of Katie and Declan's engagement may not be welcomed by Megan and Robbie following the recent tension.
Winward added: "Declan says that he'll throw them out once the festival is over, and Katie is pleased. When Megan and Robbie walk in after the proposal, Katie can't help giving the pair of them a smug look."
Emmerdale airs the proposal scenes on Friday, September 7 at 7pm on ITV1.
Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has admitted that he isn't expecting his character Andy Sugden's latest romance to have a long future.
Andy sleeps with Amy Wyatt's mother Kerry (Laura Norton) next week, and they later agree to enjoy a 'no strings attached' relationship.
The pair's passionate encounter takes place after Andy agrees to let a lonely Kerry stay with him for a few days.
Asked whether Andy could end up falling in love with Kerry, Fletcher told All About Soap: "No, I don't think so. The problem is that they're just too alike, and if they stayed together they'd get themselves into too much bother!
"But sometimes being similar can be a good thing, so we'll see."
Predicting that his alter ego's attentions could turn elsewhere, he continued: "Andy may be on the hunt for another woman in the next few weeks. He's like the village bike - everyone has had a ride!"
Andy and Kerry's relationship begins in Wednesday night's (September 5) episode.

The tension at Home Farm continues on Emmerdale this evening (September 4) as Robbie Lawson and Katie Sugden remain at odds.
Tonight's episode sees Robbie (Jamie Shelton) parade a blonde girl named Cheryl around the house in a bid to wind up Katie, who still feels unsettled by his mind games.
Knowing that Robbie is looking for a reaction, Katie (Sammy Winward) is deliberately extra nice to Cheryl - which only serves to wind Megan's son up further.
Robbie and Katie end up clashing again once they're left alone towards the end of the day, with Robbie pointing out that Declan likes him and it's his opinion that counts.
Knowing that Robbie is right, Katie begins to wonder whether drastic action is needed to get rid of him…
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV1.
Andy and Amy's mother are a weird pairing
Andy and Amy's mother are a weird pairing
the age difference must be quite a bit?
even if Kerry had Amy at 16, she would be 34 now......Andy is in his mid 20's?
