Paul: “I can save EastEnders”
Has all that tropical sun finally gone to Paul Danan’s head? Undeterred by making a complete prat of himself on national TV, Celebrity Love Island’s barmiest contestant has issued a “come and get me” plea to EastEnders bosses, insisting he’s the man to drag the ailing soap out of the ratings doldrums.

According to the Daily Star, the pint-sized ex-Hollyoaks star believes he’d be great as a romantic lead, or even a gangster to rival the Mitchell clan. “I should have been in it years ago. I deserve to be in EastEnders – I’m perfect for it. I even have the accent,” boasts Paul. “Let’s face it – they need someone young and good looking with attitude – and I’d be the man.”

But his dreams of stardom don’t end there, oh no. Paul’s also rather taken with the idea of – wait for it – launching a pop career. “I’m not talking about doing a corny Peter Andre,” he says (perish the thought). Instead, he wants to do a “hip hop/punk-rock thing” under the name “Mmm Danan”, his catchphrase from the island.

He's got a certain novelty factor at the moment cos he was such a jerk on CLI but he'll soon drift back into obscurity.

“Mmm Danan”, his catchphrase from the island. That's what I thought Lenny Henry was saying on his show - but he think he meant mmm danone - from that advert when he was taking the mick out of tunes that just stick in your head.

Oh please - he's not even a has-been, more like a never was! EE wouldn't touch him with a barge pole - if only Isabella would take a leaf out of their book, lol! And as for his "music career" - hip hip or punk rock? Bit of a difference or doesn't he know that? :rolleyes:

I kind of liked hm in the start - he was funny and a bit of an entertainer. By the end he just annoyed me so much. I think that if anything, he made his chances of a future career worse by going on CLI!

That's the prob he doesn't know when to stop acting. No one will touch him with a barge pole now, as an actor or otherwise. He has just hung himself.:)

He did liven up the Love Island or so I'm told but he's still a rubbish actor. He was in Hollyoaks, that says it all :D

he was a pain on love island! at first he was really funny but in the end he was annoying.

a rubbish profile...to be fair i never saw his actying on hollyaoks but he is a ghastly man and shouldnt be allowed to join a show such as eastenders!!!
