Monday episode 5541 - 18/06/12
Concerned that Romeo will leave her, Ruby reveals that she’s pregnant. Romeo doesn’t take the news too well, but commits to doing the right thing and stand by her. Alf clocks on that Romeo isn’t too over the moon, and suggests that the pregnancy seems too convenient, but Roo shuts down his suspicions, telling him to stay out of it. In the meantime, Indi decides she needs to tell Romeo that she’s still in love with him, but Marilyn accidently lets it slip that Ruby is pregnant with Romeo’s baby, and Indi is left heartbroken and unsure about what to do.
Bianca is refusing to see her baby, which unsettles Heath. Sid is also concerned, and when he realises that Bianca believes that her baby died and everyone is lying to her, he diagnoses her with post-natal psychosis, warning Heath to tread lightly until she is healed. But when Heath tries to explain to her that the baby is fine and that no one is lying, Bianca loses it, kicking him out.
Pangs of jealousy hit Dex, as his concerns about April’s feelings towards Heath increase. He notices that April is spending a lot of time defending Heath, being there for him in his time of need. And when Dex attempts to get closer to her, she shuts him down, leaving him even more insecure.
Tuesday episode 5542 - 19/06/12
When Dex reveals to Romeo that Indi knows about the pregnancy, he rushes over to apologise. Clocking that she learnt the news because she was going to tell him she was still in love with him, he tries to get it out of her, but instead she kicks him out and asks him to let her move on with her life. In the meantime, Ruby is concerned that the pregnancy is tearing her and Romeo apart, and when Romeo tries to end their relationship, she struggles and begs him to stay.
Dex lends Indi money in order to organise a photo shoot for her modelling portfolio. But when the sleazy photographer suggests that Indi needs to take her clothes off, she shuts it down, losing Dex’s money. But Dex isn’t too concerned, as his troubles with April are still plaguing him. He tracks her down to confess his undying love for her, and finally they are able to be together in every way.
It’s the day of Jett’s mother’s funeral, and Gina is concerned about this young troubled boy. When she sees that VJ has a bloody lip, and learns that Jett is acting out, she confronts him, but he retaliates and accidently pushes Gina over. John sees this, and scared about what’s just happened, Jett runs away.
Wednesday episode 5543 - 20/06/12
When Lottie moves in to the Summer Bay House, Alf clocks that she seems a little nervous, and urges Roo to make sure that Lottie is OK. When Roo confronts Lottie about this, she learns that Lottie is scared that they will hate living with her, and kick her out. Once assured, Lottie goes back to being her normal, annoying, self.
Casey confides in Natalie that he’s worried that Brax isn’t taking the news of their father’s possible release too well. Natalie is concerned; worried that Brax isn’t thinking about what Casey needs and goes to discuss this with Brax. He is reluctant to talk to her, but when she learns about his past, she tries to confront him again, only to get the door slammed in her face. In the meantime, Casey is avoiding home, opting to stay at Sasha’s. She is secretly excited, hoping that their friendship can be taken to the next level.
When Xavier learns about Jett’s attack towards his mother, he is furious, convinced that Jett is too far gone to help. Gina refuses to give up on Jett however, and Xavier is feeling even more pushed to the side. Tension is high, until Jett returns, apologetic, and Xavier realises that maybe there is helping this kid after all.
Thursday episode 5544 - 21/06/12
It’s the day of Danny’s court case, and Brax is stressing that his father could get out of gaol. He goes to Hayley to try and convince her to stop the appeal, but she refuses. When Brax gets aggressive and claims that Hayley can’t be trusted, Liam is quick to defend her. But when he learns that she is using again, and tries to help her, but instead, is tempted himself.
Lottie overhears Roo talking to Alf about how she doesn’t feel like she’s connected with Lottie because she isn’t a ‘normal’ teenager. Upset, Lottie decides to act like a teenager by wagging school and get up to no good. With Sasha as her partner in crime, the girls plan a day of rebellion, which is cut short when Roo finds them about to dye Lottie’s hair pink. After an all-out row, Roo and Lottie realise they have a lot more in common than they originally thought.
Friday episode 5545 - 22/06/12
After his drug binge, Liam wakes up with a cut on his head. When Leah notes that he’s bleeding, she rushes him to hospital where they learn Liam had a cocaine-induced seizure. Realising that his life has taken a bad turn since hooking up with Hayley, he has to make the decision on whether or not he should stay with her.
In the meantime, Liam runs into Bianca at the hospital, who is still suffering from post-natal psychosis. She tells Liam she’s still in love with him and that she needs him to help her – believing her baby was murdered and that there is a cover-up. Liam struggles with the pressure, realising there isn’t much he can do for her in his current state of mind.
The appeal is underway, as the Braxton brothers argue about what will happen if their father is released. Brax is convinced that only bad news can come if Danny is freed, but Heath and Casey are committed to giving their old man a second chance. Hayley, struggling with the pressure and her cocaine comedown, suggests the case is strong, but not a definite, and sends the boys home to wait for the ruling. The stress becomes too much for Brax and he shuts down Angelo’s, just as he gets a special visitor.
