As the Housemates sat on the sofas waiting to finish nominating, they tried desperate measures to get Science to be quiet. As they dozed and relaxed, not a word was being spoken as Science drummed on the plastic green dog.
"Science, please can you stop doing that. Or do it softly," begged Vanessa.
Science stopped drumming to start talking. "Time flies. I don't mean time, time. I mean..."
"Do shut up Science," ordered Derek. "I have to try and concentrate on silence, which is something you should learn about."
Science said the House would soon be down to eight Housemates, then seven.
"Oh you're devilishly clever to spot that," mocked Derek.
Not giving up, Science said, "Let's have a debate on something."
"Let's debate when you're going to leave," shot back Derek.
"What a nasty thing to say," said Science, laughing.
"Well, I can be nasty, so watch out," said Derek, not entirely joking.
Makosi was so fed up with Science talking she threatened to tell some of her jokes. "Science, what do you want?" she asked. "I will give you anything if you'll keep quiet."
Science wanted to know what she had to offer. Makosi said cider, but it wasn't enough to silence him.
"I'm trying not to blow," said Makosi.
Science turned his attentions to Maxwell, delivering an unwelcome monologue, before finally keeping his mouth shut. And that's when he started drumming again...
