Coming up in Emmerdale, Megan Macey lashes out at half-brother Declan after discovering that he has been interfering in her personal life yet again.
Megan (Gaynor Faye) has a disastrous meeting with her son Robbie in a few days' time, which ends with the stubborn pair insisting that they want nothing to do with each other.
Declan, however, is keen to get Megan on good terms with her son and pays two secret visits to Robbie in an attempt to talk him round. Robbie then starts warming to Declan (Jason Merrells) and the two men strike up a bond.
When Robbie is evicted from his flat, he comes to see Declan at Home Farm as he wants a favour - explaining that he needs the businessman to be guarantor for a loan. Declan surprises Robbie by signing the paperwork, while Katie cannot believe that Declan has given his signature.
Later, as Megan arrives home, Declan explains that he has seen Robbie. Megan is furious over the news and slaps him hard before storming out…

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Wednesday, May 23 at 7pm on ITV1.
Monday
Megan is annoyed when Declan doesn't show up for a meeting and Katie reluctantly offers to help out. At the same time, Declan is at Robbie's when the landlord arrives. Robbie argues with the landlord as he has been seeing the man's girlfriend behind his back. Declan steps in to support Megan's son and the landlord leaves, but he threatens Robbie with 24 hours notice to leave the house.
Declan is concerned for Robbie and it's obvious that Robbie is warming to Declan. The two men bond and Declan hands Robbie his card before leaving, giving him food for thought as he explains that Megan is just scared of messing up a second time. Later, Katie warns Declan about how angry Megan will be if this isn't what she wants.
Meanwhile, Zak is overwhelmed when his family visit him at the hospital. Things seem to go well at first, but when Sam mentions the incident at Belle's school, Zak is oblivious to what he is referring to. Confused, Zak snaps at Belle - believing that she's been talking about him. Trevor stops the conversation and takes Zak away. Soon afterwards, Trevor takes Zak back into the room so that he can say goodbye. However, Zak tells Lisa that he doesn't want anyone to visit again - leaving her completely distraught.
Elsewhere, Ashley gets a job at a burger bar, Brenda is disappointed when Pollard postpones the holiday because of Amy, while Amelia overhears Sean and Belle talking about Ruby.
Tuesday
Belle is upset as she thinks that the ban on visiting hospital is Lisa's decision. At the café, Belle pours her heart out to Sean, but he's preoccupied with looking at Ruby. Belle notices this and suggests to Bob that Ruby shouldn't be allowed to work in the café after what she did. As Belle begins to make a scene, Bob shocks her by explaining that it was Sean who kissed Ruby. Sean is mortified.
Back at the Dingle house, Sean admits to Belle that he kissed Ruby. Belle then makes him leave before bursting into tears. Later, Belle questions her mum on her love for Zak. Lisa recommends they should leave visiting Zak for a few weeks - for his sake.
Meanwhile, Pollard warns Amy to change her attitude towards Brenda. As the pair are heading to the shops together, Pollard hopes they'll find they have things in common. However, as they walk to the bus stop, Amy makes it clear to Brenda that they are not friends - they are just out shopping. Brenda is hurt by this but continues to try with Amy.
Elsewhere, Ashley feels out of place as Jude, Edna and Turner discuss church matters without his input, while Jimmy notices Nicola's growing affection for Elliot.
Wednesday
Robbie pays a visit to Home Farm as he wants a favour. Declan is straight to the point as he asks Robbie how much money he needs, but Robbie explains that he needs Declan to be guarantor for a loan. Declan surprises Robbie by signing the paperwork. Katie cannot believe that Declan has given his signature and is shocked further when Declan offers Robbie a room if things with this flat don't work out.
When Megan arrives home, Declan explains that he has seen Robbie. Megan is fuming and sarcastically asks if Declan offered to let Robbie move in. As an awkward Declan points out that Declan is family, Megan is furious and slaps him hard before storming out.
Meanwhile, Nikhil warns Ali and Dan that they could both lose their jobs if the arguments at work continue. Later in the café, Dan is taken aback when an angry Ruby tells him to phone the police if he truly believes she tried to kiss his son. At Dale Head, Dan tells Sean the consequences of the police getting involved, so Sean finally admits that it was him who kissed Ruby. Dan decides to take the kids back to Ali.
Elsewhere, Amy stops Pollard from finishing things with Brenda upon realising how much he likes her, while Jai tells Rishi that Charity doesn't want any more children.
Thursday
Brenda, Nikhil and Gennie are awkward as Pollard and Val argue. Pollard reminds Val how she emptied their bank account and makes it clear that she cannot just come and go as she pleases. The following morning, Val notices female clothing in the bedroom. Amy takes great pleasure in telling her that the clothes are Brenda's because Pollard and Brenda are an item. Val is hurt by this and goes on the warpath.
Storming into The Woolpack, Val makes it clear that she and Pollard are back together. She then ridicules Brenda in front of the whole pub. Gennie does her best to stick up for her mum, but Brenda is left devastated.
Meanwhile, Rishi takes an opportunity to ask Noah about Jai being his dad. Noah realises what Rishi is hinting at, so when Charity returns he blurts out about Jai wanting to adopt him. Charity is concerned that Jai is settling for second best with him not having his own child. Jai attempts to reassure Charity as she worries Noah will end up heartbroken.
Elsewhere, Alicia is shocked when Jacob tells her that Justin is getting married, while Lizzie tells Ali she was out of order letting Lisa take the rap for her mistake.
Friday
Brenda is devastated that Pollard hasn't been in touch since Val returned, presuming he is back with her. At the barn, Amy is cold towards Val and snubs her attempts to apologise. Soon afterwards, Pollard explains to Val how selfless and kind Brenda is and walks out, leaving Val frustrated.
Later, Brenda visits the barn to collect the rest of her things, but is shocked when Pollard reveals that Val will be the one leaving - not her. As the day continues, Val turns up once again and realises the locks have been changed. She's shocked and heartbroken when Pollard tells her they are finished. Brenda is sympathetic as she passes Val her things, but Val shouts through the letterbox - angrily assuring them they are not yet rid of her.
Meanwhile, Charity apologises to Jai for the way she acted regarding him adopting Noah. Later, after talking to Chas, Charity realises that she and Noah are lucky to have Jai. At the factory, Charity tells Jai that she will take some time to reconsider if she wants another child.
Elsewhere, Chas shows her jealousy of Debbie as she wishes she had Cameron to herself, while Declan lies to Megan that he has told Robbie not to get in touch again.
Chas feels a rush of guilt when Debbie explains that her and Cameron are not sleeping together much anymore

Emmerdale star Charlie Hardwick has said that her return to the soap was hassle-free thanks to a "well written" and "funny" script.
The actress's character Val Pollard is back on screen next week following time away from the village. In real life, Hardwick had a 12-week break from the ITV1 show as she starred in comedy play The Awkward Squad.
Hardwick has now told PA that she found it easy to get back into the character of Val when she returned to filming.
She commented: "It was brilliant and I had no difficulty finding Val again. I did think, 'I wonder if I can remember her'. But the script was so well written it was no trouble.
"It's a great script, it was a pleasure to come back because the script is funny."
Next week's episodes see Val left livid when she discovers that her estranged husband Eric (Chris Chittell) has been dating Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) in her absence.
Hardwick added: "Somebody is going to get punished for this and it's the other woman who dared go near Val's husband!"
Emmerdale airs Val's return on Thursday, May 24 at 7pm on ITV1.
Emmerdale teenager Amy Wyatt receives a shock this evening (May 22) as Eric Pollard offers to appease her by dumping Brenda Walker.
Pollard starts the day with renewed hope that Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny) and Brenda could begin getting along as they head out shopping together. However, spending time in each other's company only results in an argument between the pair.
Later, Brenda makes it clear to Pollard that she cannot see a way forward for their situation as Amy will never accept her.
Rather than rebuking Amy yet again, Pollard appears to concede defeat as he tells her that he's happy to end things with Brenda if it makes her happy. Can Amy let him go through with it?
Emmerdale's Val Pollard returns to the village unexpectedly in tonight's (May 24) double bill of the soap - and immediately finds herself at the centre of a huge row.
Val (Charlie Hardwick) assumes that she can pick up where she left off with Eric and Amy following her three-month break in Portugal, but the reception she gets at home is far from what she expected.
Arriving back to see her family sharing lunch with Brenda and Gennie, a shameless Val thanks them for the "welcome home feast".
However, Eric and Amy soon make it clear to Val that things have moved on in her absence - and they haven't forgiven her for walking out on them. How will Val react to the news that Brenda and Eric are now an item?
