surely if you loved a character (stacey/kat) youd rather vote for them then the person who concieved them

The closest Charlie came to getting his own storyline was when he nearly got together with Peggy oh and when he beat up Graham the rapist.

1) sam may be leaving, and the brothers are in it for two weeks, peggy will be alone and so needs some storylines that are not mitchell empire and vic based

2)charlie always liked peggy so it could happen, and peggy would love to settle down so could comprimsie going with charlie

3)a mitchell and slater combination would be brillaint, fuse together the two best families and it will be dynamite

4) imagine the scene of a morning big mo and peggy at the same breakfast table, big mo stuffing a suage in her mouth with her hands, and peggy looking down on her as she cuts hers with a knife

5) the xmas dinner, how many seats would you need? and grant and kat in the same room?

anyways that is why peggy and charlie should get together :)

But Peggy will have Phil. Steve could be taking another break to go and do more panto but he'll still be in it for a while initially before coming back again. We really don't know how long Grant will be on-screen for yet but he's also got the option to return. Plus Kim isn't leaving until November and Peggy will be back on-screen by about September so she won't be alone originally.
I think Grant could return with Peggy because if he starts filming in August there's a chance he could also be on in September.
