Soon afterwards, Mandy tries to concentrate on getting things back on track with Ian. She even hands back her engagement ring, explaining that she only wants to go ahead with the wedding if it really means something.
As the day continues, Mandy spots Lorraine again and takes her back to the Beale house as she's genuinely in a lot of pain. When Ian arrives home, he's furious and gives Lorraine her marching orders, but Mandy secretly tells her mum that she'll take her to the hospital later. With Lorraine gone, Ian apologises to Mandy and hands her engagement ring back, but he makes it clear that he doesn't want Lorraine to ruin things for them. Affected by his words, Mandy heads out to meet Lorraine at the Tube station and says that she won't be going to the hospital with her after all. But is Mandy abandoning Lorraine when she's at her most vulnerable?

When Jay finds out that Shirley has somewhere to live, he asks if he can move in with her and she agrees. However, he's later horrified to discover that Shirley is renting Heather's old flat. Phil is appalled by Jay's plan, fearing what could happen if the teen breaks down in front of Shirley. In the end, Jay struggles to cope around Shirley at the flat and has to leave.

EastEnders' under-pressure mum Bianca Butcher finds herself in big trouble next week as her financial troubles escalate in dramatic fashion.
Bianca (Patsy Palmer) has bills piling up, a loan to repay and mouths to feed at home, so in a moment of madness, she resorts to desperate measures to provide for her family.
Spotting a money belt unattended on one of the market stalls, Bianca swipes it and tries to do a runner. However, in her rush to flee, she ends up being knocked to the ground and into Mr Lister - with the stolen money dropping everywhere. To make matters worse, she then finds herself in an altercation with Lister, who calls the police.
Having been caught out, Bianca knows that she's made a huge mistake as she's still on probation following her previous jail stint.
A devastated Bianca soon confesses all to Carol (Lindsey Coulson), knowing that she'll either have to flee or face the consequences of her actions. What will happen to Bianca?

Over on EastEnders, Mandy Salter faces more troubles when her mother Lorraine returns to Albert Square.
Mandy (Nicola Stapleton) is shocked to see her mum back in Walford later this month, especially when it becomes clear that Lorraine (Victoria Alcock) is unwell and in pain.
Although Mandy initially plans to help Lorraine out by taking her to the hospital, she changes her mind when an unforgiving Ian (Adam Woodyatt) reacts badly to Lorraine's reappearance.
In the days that follow, however, Mandy can't stop thinking about her mum and decides to pay her a visit at the hospital in secret.
As the pair catch up, it looks as if the tensions between mother and daughter are finally starting to disappear.
However, Lorraine is soon back to her old tricks as she delivers another venomous outburst - telling Mandy that she has never loved her. Will Mandy cut ties with her mum?
