Hollyoaks' Barney Harper-McBride delves into the past of best friend Scott Sabeka as he pays him a visit during the university's Easter break.

Barney (Tom Scurr) is thrilled to be introduced to Scott's world in London living with his nan, but he's in for a few surprises as the trip becomes more eventful than he expected.

Scott (Calvin Demba) takes Barney along to his boxing club and puts him through his paces in the ring, but it soon becomes clear that Scott is hiding something from his past.

Barney discovers that Scott's secret involves an old friend named Mitchell, but when he later starts asking too many questions, Scott flips and storms off. Can Barney get Scott to confide in him?

Monday

Joel is eager to prove himself, so when Brendan gives him a task, he's keen to succeed in it. But has Scottish Foxy bitten off more than he can chew?

Meanwhile, there's friction between Mitzeee and Riley when she exaggerates the attentions of a fan to a journalist. Is she willing to sacrifice her family for fame?

Elsewhere, when Ash goes home after being released from hospital, she shows Barney how important family is. He decides to take a trip, but just who is he planning on visiting?

Also today, Maddie starts to panic when she realises that her three-month rule with Callum has run its course. Is Callum expecting to take their relationship to the next level?

Tuesday

With Joel in danger, will he remain loyal to Brendan despite the risk, or sell him out to save his own skin?

Meanwhile, Barney is thrilled to be introduced to Scott's world in London living with his nan. But it soon becomes clear that Scott has been concealing the truth about his past. Does Barney really know his best friend at all?

Elsewhere, Riley is angry with both Mitzeee and Mercedes and seeks refuge decorating the deli with Ste and Doug. However, their lads' day is interrupted by Lynsey - can she cheer Riley up?

Also today, Maddie is desperate to avoid being alone with Callum. As her behaviour gets increasingly erratic, will she finally be honest or will she drive him away forever?

Wednesday

In London, Barney struggles to convince Scott that he can't hide away forever. But will Scott take his friend's advice and face up to his past?

Meanwhile, can Maddie finally admit to Callum her fears about their physical relationship? And what will this mean for the couple?

Elsewhere, when Mitzeee sacrifices her celebrity interview to keep the peace with Riley, it seems everything will go back to normal for the fractious flatmates. But when a meddling Mercedes doesn't let that happen, has she pushed Riley into the arms of someone else entirely?

Also today, a confused Doug struggles to understand what happened between himself and Ste yesterday. Is their business over before it's even begun?

Thursday

Maddie's insecurities reach fever pitch when Callum leaves her after they sleep together for the first time. In reality, he's gone to teach Joel a lesson after Lacey comes home crying. Which of the lovebirds has some apologising to do?

Later, after being embarrassed by Callum at Chez Chez, Joel takes his anger out on Theresa - but has he thrown her into the path of someone else?

Meanwhile, taking Barney's advice, Scott seeks out old friend Mitchell and tries to make amends. But is Scott just making things much worse?

Elsewhere, Mitzeee is freaked out when she receives another creepy gift from her super fan. However, when the stalker makes themselves known, it's not what she expects!

Friday

With Scott's fight with Mitchell drawing near, Barney realises that Scott is still running away. Can he convince Scott to accept his past, and how will things change when they receive some devastating news?

Meanwhile, Tilly is thrilled that her art event at College Coffee is a success, but when intriguing art fan Jen arrives, sparks fly. Could this be a fatal attraction?

Elsewhere, there is an air of awkwardness and animosity between Maddie and Callum. But who will make the first move after what happened?
