Over on Coronation Street, Sunita and Karl edge closer to an affair as they continue to seek comfort in each other.
Karl (John Michie) finds himself kicked out of The Rovers later this month as a furious Stella discovers that his gambling addiction has left them in a financial mess. He's then grateful when Sunita (Shobna Gulati) offers him a place to stay for the night, as Dev and the kids are away on holiday.
The next morning, Karl hopes that he can get his relationship back on track, but Stella (Michelle Collins) isn't interested as she can't stand the sight of him after what he's done.
Back at the Alahan residence, Karl breaks down in Sunita's arms as she listens to his woes. As Sunita comforts him, however, Karl draws her in for a kiss…
At the same time, Stella has decided to give Karl a second chance. But when she calls at Sunita's, will she catch them in the act?

Monday
Karl thanks Sunita for letting him stay the night, while Stella meets with her accountant to sort out his mess. The pub could be in danger, and as a sheepish Karl returns home, Stella lays into him - explaining that they need a loan to consolidate their debts which they'll be paying off for years.
Karl vows to ask Steve for his job back and sort himself out, but when Peter confesses that Karl instead turned up at the bookies, it's too much for Stella who feels her world imploding. Confronting Karl, is this the last straw?
Meanwhile, Peter apologises to Leanne for their row at mediation, and offering an olive branch, asks if she'd like to have Simon for the day. Leanne's thrilled and her bond with Simon is clear, but when Simon overhears her calling Carla a black widow and repeats it at home, Peter's outraged.
Elsewhere, Tommy learns that Geoff left him thousands in his will, David brags to Audrey that he's got a new job at a posh salon in town, while Carla debates Sally's proposition to buy into the factory.
As Karl packs his bags, he's crushed. He throws himself on Stella's mercy, but while her heart breaks, she stands firm. Later, though, Stella's in turmoil when Karl returns to the pub with a wad of cash, having sold his most valuable possession - a signed football shirt.
Having left the pub, Karl breaks down in Sunita's arms as she listens to his woes. As Sunita comforts him, Karl draws her in for a kiss... At the same time, Stella has decided to give Karl a second chance. But when she calls at Sunita's, will she catch them in the act?
Meanwhile, Peter has called Leanne to the flat and demands to know why she's trying to poison Simon against Carla. Leanne tries to defend herself, insisting that her comments weren't meant for Simon's ears, but Peter bans Leanne from seeing Simon. As Leanne pleads with him to think of Simon's best interests, will Peter back down?
Elsewhere, David is only sweeping floors in the posh salon but continues to brag about his opportunity, Tommy wants to take Tina on a round the world trip, while Carla tells Sally that she'd be happy for her to become her business partner when Frank's shares are sold.
Thursday
When Kylie arrives at the salon to visit David, she's shocked to see that he's a junior and is determined to show what her husband can do. Insisting that she's a former customer of David's, she declares that she wants him to cut her hair. David does a great job and the boss is impressed, but when Kylie hands over her bank card and he sees the name Platt, he realises he's been duped and orders David to get back to sweeping. Kylie's desperate to fight his corner, but a row erupts which ends in David getting sacked!
Back on the street, Kylie's furious at what Audrey has driven David to and insists it's time he took back what's rightfully his. With David's indignation stoked, the pair come up with a plan which leaves Audrey floored…
Meanwhile, as Stella and Karl talk through their relationship, she insists that he hands over his bank cards and asks Steve for his job back, as she won't have him working in the pub with money. Karl does as he's told, but the atmosphere is tense - especially when Sunita arrives. Alone, Karl apologises to Sunita for what happened, insisting that he owes it to Stella to make their relationship work. Covering her upset, Sunita agrees that it was a mistake before guiltily returning home to meet Dev and the kids.
Elsewhere, Carla is uncomfortable as she brings Simon home from school and feels guilty when she sees a crushed Leanne, Sally insists on working in the office so she can get to grips with running the business before she invests, while Tina's stunned when Tommy presents her with a clapped out VW camper van so they can travel around the UK like she suggested.
Friday
David and Kylie have spent the night camped out in the salon, as Owen arrives to change the locks. Audrey's furious but David is defiant, insisting that he's doing this for her own good. But Audrey refuses to take it lying down and asks Mary for a favour. Using Mary's motor home as a makeshift salon, Audrey pulls up outside and starts inviting her customers in.
David and Kylie are aghast as the regulars flock to Audrey and they're left with an empty salon. Insisting that they need to find their own customers, Kylie tells David that it's time the salon had a revamp. As they put up an 'under new management' sign, how will Audrey react?
Meanwhile, when a devastated Leanne asks Ken to talk to Peter about her ban from seeing Simon, he can see how distraught she is. Ken broaches the subject with Peter, but he's adamant that he's doing the right thing by Simon in the long-run. However, when Ken brings Simon home from school, he can see how cut up the youngster is - so he calls Leanne to invite her round.
Elsewhere, Tommy has a romantic country pub lunch planned for Tina but his van only makes it to Viaduct Street, Nick notes that the unit next door to the Bistro is for sale and talks expansion plans with Eva, while Stella picks up on the tension between Karl and Sunita.
Audrey is furious and refuses to relinquish control of the salon. David's conviction is starting to waver as he sees how upset his gran is, but Kylie reminds her husband that Audrey didn't have any qualms about sacking him. Audrey resents how David's turned on her after everything she's done for him, and with the backing of her friends, she vows that he won't take her business.
Marching into the salon, Audrey rails at David for betraying her and takes a nail file to his new sign. As the red mist descends, Kylie calls 999 - reporting Audrey for criminal damage. But when the police arrive, will the law be on David's side?
Meanwhile, it's time for Ken to take Simon home, and as Leanne reluctantly says goodbye to Simon, Ken's heart breaks for them both. At the flat, he tries one last attempt to change Peter's mind about Leanne, but Peter's unyielding - insisting that he needs Ken's support. Having asked Simon to lie to his dad about what they've been doing, Ken feels guilty. Can he continue to betray his son?
Elsewhere, Tina worries that Tommy is frittering his inheritance away and suggests that he should start thinking about their future, while Sunita considers giving up her job at the pub in a bid to stay away from Karl.

Coronation Street's Leanne Barlow finds herself banned from seeing stepson Simon in tonight's (April 9) double bill of the soap.
Leanne (Jane Danson) is pleased when Peter (Chris Gascoyne) allows her to spend the day with Simon, but things go wrong when the youngster overhears her referring to Carla as a "black widow" in a private discussion with Stella.
Later, Simon (Alexander Bain) repeats this description of Carla (Alison King) at home - leaving Peter furious as he thinks that Leanne is trying to cause trouble.
Calling Leanne round to the flat, Peter reprimands her for what she's done and declares that she can't see Simon anymore. How will a shocked Leanne react?

Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
I don't see why Leanne has a chance to take Simon? I'm sure Peter had more of a chance with him being his biological father. Poor Audrey doesn't need her family turning against her when she needs them most, Kylie has only ever had her interests at heart so it's not as surprising that she trying her damn hardest to win the salon. And as for Tina and Tommy I really hope it doesn't go wrong as it does with every soap!

The courts will decide what is in the best interest of the child.
The courts will decide what is in the best interest of the child.
Leanne has been, albeit it only for 18 months - Simon's mother, the biological side doesnt come into it.
when they as a married couple split, if they cannot decide who takes custody, then the courts will. In Peter's favour is his job, his flat, against him, his inability to control his drinking, and the fact he nearly burnt the lad to death!
In Leanne's favour is that she is emotionally more stable, but she doesnt work (could go both ways for her) and she doesnt have a permenant home
