Home and Away star Axle Whitehead has revealed that his character Liam Murphy will lash out by punching Heath Braxton in an upcoming episode.

Liam is struggling to cope with the fact that his wife Bianca (Lisa Gormley) is expecting Heath's (Dan Ewing) baby, and finally loses patience when the River Boy makes a jibe about the complicated situation.

Whitehead told TV Week: "Liam thought he had it all together, had got the wife and they'd finally got pregnant - and it seemed like he had a real purpose to be in Summer Bay.

"It's tragic these things just keep getting thrown at him, but he does his best to do the right thing and stand by his woman. He's come this far, so he's going to try and do the honourable thing and stand by his wife."

He continued: "The tension between Liam and Heath has been constant - basically they're bickering over Bianca. Heath, however, isn't sensitive to the situation and keeps pushing Liam - while Liam, being the bigger man, tries to pull back, but then he cracks!

"It's good to see the character stand up and finally take a swing and land one, because he's taken so much s**t in Summer Bay. It's a nice moment for Liam to man up."

Home and Away airs these scenes next week on Network Seven in Australia and early May on Channel 5 in the UK.

Home and Away's Casey Braxton will be confronted by April Scott when she discovers that he is enjoying a secret relationship with Summer Bay teacher Henri Brown.

April, played by Rhiannon Fish, uncovers the student-teacher romance when she spots the pair kissing in an upcoming episode.

Casey is concerned when April voices her disapproval over his antics, but is still reluctant to end things with Henri (Emma Leonard).

Lincoln Younes, who plays Casey, told TV Week: "Casey is mortified. His fear is if April knows, then word can get out quickly and ruin what he and Henri have."

Henri considers giving up her teaching career for Casey when she discovers that April knows the truth.

However, Younes added that Casey's older brothers Heath (Dan Ewing) and Brax (Steve Peacocke) are likely to be unhappy whether she is a school staff member or not.

Younes said: "Heath used to date Henri, so he would not approve at all, while Brax is so protective of Casey, his main concern would be for Casey's education and future and, of course, to protect him from getting hurt."

Monday episode 5491 - 09/04/12

Brax is relieved to get the all-clear from Sid and hits the surf with VJ. Leah continues to observe Brax and VJ’s close relationship with fondness. Elijah returns from the city and quickly feels squeezed out and calls Leah on her feelings for Brax. A reminder of Charlie leads Brax to get a new tattoo, as Elijah warns Brax that Leah’s in love with him.

Harvey’s business plans for the park rub Roo the wrong way. Seeing John and Gina all smiles and kisses after making up, Roo wants to get her relationship with Harvey back to their happy times. They return to the place of their first date where they agree to not change each other. Later, Harvey gets food poisoning, putting a dampener on the date.

John and Gina renegotiate the terms for living together again. John pledges that Gina has nothing but his completely honesty.

Tuesday episode 5492 - 10/04/12

Leah picks up on Brax’s strange behaviour as he distances himself from VJ. Brax later catches VJ drinking with a group of River Boys. Leah’s outraged at her son but also at Brax’s abandonment, although he assumes he’s taking Heath’s side over the pregnancy debacle. Brax finally comes clean to Leah about the reason for his distance and she’s left hurting. Meanwhile, Elijah tells Marilyn he’s decided to leave the Bay for a fresh start and she urges him to reconnect with Leah before he does so.

A tense Liam explodes at Angelo’s, punching Heath for a crack about his unborn child. Brax warns them they can’t continue fighting as he needs both of them on deck. Heath sheds light on the conflict for Brax by revealing to him he’s the father of Bianca’s baby. Brax advises Heath to pull his head in and shares his parental history with Darcy, trying to demonstrate to Liam his situation can work out.

During Irene and Eddie’s lunch date, Eddie offers Liam his condolences for his situation and is eager for him to listen to their studio recording. Liam listens and becomes angry that Eddie apparently stole his lyrics. Liam tells Bianca to fix it, as they continue to fight about everything except the baby

Wednesday episode 5493 - 11/04/12

Leah’s on the hunt for who told Brax about her feelings, in the process discovering Elijah’s plans to depart. Elijah admits he blabbed to Brax, warning Leah she’s treading a dangerous path. Leah feels betrayed and says she never wants to see him again. Leah tries to fix the situation by telling Brax that Elijah was mistaken and there are no feelings on her end – though her lying isn’t quite convincing. Leah, Elijah and Brax have a rapprochement at Elijah’s farewell, but Brax is still cautious around Leah.

Henri’s tutoring of Casey stalls when he initiates some amorous activity. Soon after, April sees evidence of Henri at the Braxton house and assumes she’s sleeping with Heath again. Casey tries to dismiss April’s concerns but she doesn’t believe him. Meanwhile, Colleen encourages Dex to reignite the flame with April by bringing her to Elijah’s farewell. Later, an unseen April witnesses Henri kissing Casey.

Eddie tries to mend bridges with Liam about the stolen lyrics allegation, but Liam threatens legal action. Bianca wants to talk to her husband about Heath but Liam continues to focus his hostility on Eddie. They wind up in a heated confrontation, culminating in Liam smashing Eddie’s guitar. In the aftermath, Irene sides with Liam and says goodbye to Eddie.

Thursday episode 5494 - 12/04/12

Sasha is withdrawn and apprehensive in the face of her impending trial. Sergeant Watson tells the court she believes Stuart Henderson’s death was the result of premeditated murder. Dr Walker also finds himself under fire from the prosecution. Christy claims to have been in a romantic relationship with Stu and a rattled Sasha can’t help but fall for the trap. When Sid informs her that Morag doesn’t think she should take the stand herself the next day, Sasha is at a loss.

April confronts Casey about the fact he saw him kissing Henri last night. Casey resolves to break up with Henri but later swept up in a moment with her and their relationship deepens. Henri suggests she could take leave from teaching and allow them to have an out-in-the-open relationship. Casey tells April to stay out of their business.

In order to support Sasha and the Walkers, Romeo tells Ruby and Steve he’s not going to the surfing championship. Ruby airs her concerns to Indi, who shuts her down. Romeo’s irritated Ruby brought her protestations to his wife, and in turn he gives his opinion that Steve is no good for her.

Friday episode 5495 - 13/04/12

Xavier can’t understand why the police changed their story at Sasha’s trial. After some digging, he uncovers new evidence that brings to light Sergeant Watson was told to trump up Sasha’s charges to murder. Sasha is eventually found not guilty. Xavier helps Sasha celebrate with an impromptu swim where they both say they love each other.

Roo is looking forward to taking Harvey home in the wake of his food poisoning drama. Meanwhile, Marilyn’s new hairdressing client turns out to be Harvey’s ex-wife, and Marilyn feels obliged to disclose the shared connection. Melissa tracks Harvey down and gets him to give her and Lottie his house to live in.

Ruby sneaks Steve into her bedroom for the night but they’re sprung by Marilyn in the morning. Later, Ruby’s surprised when she catches Steve smoking a joint, but he ditches it to placate her. When Romeo chooses to join them at the last minute thanks to Sasha’s acquittal, Ruby’s very pleased – but unbeknownst to her, Steve has stashed a large bag of marijuana in her bag before their flight.

Lisa Gormley revealed that her character wants to make a new start with Liam (Axle Whitehead), after it was made common knowledge that Heath (Dan Ewing) is fathering her unborn child.


She told TV Week: "It's got to a point where she has no more cards to play and she needs to prove to Liam that she definitely wants to be with him.

"She does that by taking up an idea he's suggested before, 'Let's just go!'"

However, the actress declared that younger sister April (Rhiannon Fish), ex-lover Heath and Irene (Lynne McGranger) are all opposed to the move.

"April is devastated because Bianca is thinking of going without reconciling with her - literally running away," Gormley said.

"Irene is always forthcoming with the words of wisdom, and she doesn't agree. She thinks they should stay and face their problems.

"[Heath is] pulling out every stop he possibly can to prove to Bianca that he does want to be a part of the child's life. He's not giving up - he's trying to prove to her that he's more supportive than Liam will ever be. He also wants them to be a family."

Bianca has been having a full-blown affair with the River Boy, and the baby news has caused uproar between Liam and Heath.
