Maybe Sally becomes Carla's boss or business partner now

Maybe Sally becomes Carla's boss or business partner now

how? Frank only owned a minority 40% share of the factory, even if he had left it to sally by some miracle/mistake?

So Paul is putting Lesley in a home so he can shack up with Eileen

To be fair to Paul he has been agonising over this decision for a while and presumably decides to put Lesley in a home for her own good so that she can be cared for properly; something he cannot do with his full-time job as a fire fighter. It is a difficult decision many people have to face.

In this case, of course, there is the added ingredient of his relationship with Eileen.

latest Inside Soap (read by me today) - says a female street resident offers to buy Franks share of the factory.?

so I am now going with this being Sally? does she not still have some of Kev's scratch card win cash aside?

she could (in the real world) buy the 40% from Frank's estate, and then whatever he decreed should happen to his residual estate (to Ann which she cant have - or to someone else...?) could still be carried out

And I would like to see Sally become junior partner in the business?! she is ambitious, treads over people, but deep down has always been a stable street force and deserves a bit of kudos

Sounds like you're right it'll be Sally :( I can't stand her smugness when she lords it over everyone.

she is trailer trash made good!!! I do remember her first appearances onto the street as a teenager, when Hilda O really despaired of Kevin for dating her

that said she has dragged her, Kev and the family up to be (alledgely) also middle class folk

I thought there would be more chance of Michelle buying into the factory, with her being related to Carla.

Michelle hasn't got any money, though, whereas Sally had £100,000 from Kevin's lottery win.

Coronation Street's Paul Kershaw struggles to cope next month as he faces a dilemma over what's best for his wife Lesley.

Eileen thinks that Lesley should move into a care home as her dementia seems to be getting worse, but a heartbroken Paul (Tony Hirst) refuses to consider this.

Frustrated, Eileen (Sue Cleaver) then decides that their current situation can't continue and asks Paul to move back home with Lesley (Judy Holt) - unable to see a future for them if he won't listen to her advice.

Standing firm, Paul goes to pack up all of their belongings, but he's left distraught when he finds Lesley tearing up their wedding photos as she can't identify herself. Realising that he's losing Lesley, the fireman reaches breaking point and rushes out.

Returning home from work for lunch with Beth (Lisa George), Eileen is shocked to find Lesley crouched alone on the floor, with Paul nowhere to be seen. When Paul finally returns, will he now accept that Lesley needs proper care?

Frank Foster may be dead and gone, but it looks like Coronation Street's Sally Webster is in with a chance of maintaining extra authority at Underworld.

As Sally (Sally Dynevor) gets back on her feet in next week's episodes, she has a tempting offer for Carla Connor (Alison King) - offering to buy Frank's share of the factory.

Sally has the funds to become a more important figure at Underworld thanks to the cash from Kevin's lottery win, and it's no secret that she loves to boss people around at work!

Recognising Sally's experience, Carla is certainly given food for thought as she debates the mum-of-two's offer.

Weighing up the matter, will Carla want to work so closely with Sally, or does she have other options?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, April 6 at 7.30pm on ITV1.

Coronation Street's Tina and Tommy storyline comes to a head next week as the pair decide to finally be honest about their feelings for each other.

The pair have been at the centre of a 'Will they, won't they?' romance plot for some time, but they're about to finally get together in emotional circumstances.

Viewers will soon see Tommy (Chris Fountain) receive some awful news as he discovers that his adopted dad Geoff Horton has passed away.

Feeling guilty for neglecting the Hortons in recent years, Tommy isn't sure that he can face the funeral - until Tina (Michelle Keegan) steps in to convince him otherwise.

Drawing on her own experience after losing dad Joe two years ago, Tina is a huge source of support for Tommy - convincing him to attend the service and even offering to accompany him on the day.

When the pair arrive back on the cobbles after attending the funeral together, it's clear that they're meant to be together.

Spurred on by advice from Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Jason (Ryan Thomas) respectively, Tina and Tommy both resolve to open up over their feelings, and their union is sealed with a kiss. Will it be for keeps?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, April 6 at 8.30pm on ITV1.

As Paul prepares to move home with Lesley, he checks that it's what Eileen really wants. She affirms that it is - if he won't take advice on what's best for Lesley, she can't see a way through for them. Still refusing to consider care for Lesley, Paul goes to pack.

However, when Paul finds Lesley tearing up their wedding photos as she can't identify herself, he realises that he's losing her and can't cope. Returning home for lunch with Beth, Eileen is shocked to find Lesley crouched alone on the floor with Paul nowhere to be seen. As Lesley clings to her, Eileen's worried…

Meanwhile, as Karl struggles to conceal his rising debts from both Stella and Sunita, Steve discovers that he's been using his old Streetcars badge to do unauthorised jobs. Storming into the pub, Steve wants answers now.

Elsewhere, Kirsty apologises for her recent behaviour when she and Tyrone meet Tommy for a drink, while Marcus is in his element looking after Dylan while Sean's at work - and when Maria and Fiz's childminder is ill, he offers to have their kids too.

Leaving Beth to look after Lesley, Eileen tracks Paul down to the café. In a state, he finally faces the truth of Lesley's decline - it's like he's finally lost his wife and he lashed out. Suggesting that Lesley now needs proper care, Eileen takes him to see Doctor Matt, who agrees to go with them to look at the care home he recommended.

Upon their arrival, the staff are comfortable with Lesley, who soon becomes involved. It's better than Paul imagined, but he's torn - can he accept this is where Lesley needs to be now?

Meanwhile, Karl is forced to admit his money problems to Steve, but pleads with him not to tell Stella. Steve agrees, but when Karl goes to put the night's takings in the safe, he quickly empties it before guiltily heading to the casino.

Elsewhere, Dev announces that he's booked a surprise holiday but Sunita refuses to go, Sally realises that she couldn't have done without Kevin these last few weeks, Sean feels guilty for not wanting to adopt as Marcus tells him about his successful stint at childcare, while Tyrone tells Kirsty that she's a top fiancée after a great night with his mates.

Thursday

Karl hasn't slept, and making a snap decision, he stages a break-in at the pub, telling Stella that he must have forgotten to switch the alarm on and the safe has been robbed. As Stella questions the staff, Sunita is furious - she's just said goodbye to Dev and the kids who are going on holiday without her, and she doesn't need this.

Following her out, Karl offers his sympathy, but Sunita can't help confessing that she's fallen out of love with Dev. As they discuss their woes, Sunita realises that it was Karl who staged the break-in. She urges him to tell Stella before the police get involved.

Meanwhile, Kirsty has promised to make a meal for Tyrone, but when Tommy receives the awful news that Geoff Horton has died, Tyrone forgets all about it as he comforts his mate. When he arrives home, a furious Kirsty hurls his dinner on the floor. But as Tyrone explains about Tommy, will she back down?

Elsewhere, Paul takes Lesley to start her month-long trial at the care home, while Peter is furious to receive a letter from Leanne's solicitor, explaining that she's started her challenge for custody of Simon.

Friday

As the police question Stella about the break-in, Sunita is stunned to discover that Karl still hasn't come clean. Urging Sunita to keep her mouth shut, Karl admits that he's got creditors breathing down his neck and needs £300 to buy him a bit more time. Sunita lends him the money, but as he heads to the bank, will Karl be able to resist the temptation to gamble?

Later, Stella's stunned when bailiffs arrive at the pub wanting to recover items to cover Karl's debts. Stella is horrified as Nick is forced to pay them off. Under pressure, will Sunita reveal the truth about Karl's gambling?

Meanwhile, Tommy is adamant he can't face Geoff's funeral today. Talking from experience after losing her own dad, Tina points out that he'll regret it if he doesn't go. Tommy feels guilty for neglecting the Hortons over the last few years, but offering to go with him, Tina says this is his chance to say goodbye.

Elsewhere, cash-strapped Anna fears that Owen is trying to buy her affection when he says that he'll let her off with the rent for a few weeks, Sally gives Carla food for thought by offering to buy Frank's share of the factory with her lottery winnings, while Kirsty apologises to Tyrone for her behaviour.

Stella is broken as she discovers the extent of Karl's gambling debts. She has found all of his bank statements, and as Karl walks in, she lets rip. Unable to deny it any longer, Karl admits that he's in a mess and he owes thousands. As she throws him out of the pub, Stella loudly denounces Karl as 'a pathetic, lying scumbag'.

Thoroughly emasculated, Karl leaves - but with nowhere to go, it's Sunita who finds him outside and takes him back to hers. Admitting that he's gambled away her money too, Karl is crushed but Sunita is there to listen. As she vows to help him break his gambling habit, Sunita insists that he stays the night on the sofa. With both of their relationships in a mess, will these two wounded souls seek comfort in each other?

Meanwhile, Tommy thanks Tina for her support as they return from Geoff's funeral. It's clear that they're meant to be together and Tyrone insists that Tina has to tell Tommy how she feels. Alone with Tommy, Jason has said the same. As they go looking for each other, both are ready to say their piece - could this be it?

Elsewhere, Peter has a meltdown at his mediation meeting with Leanne, while Jason thaws towards Paul and Eileen as they start a new chapter.

Who would own his shares now, I guess his mum would inherit, but as she murdered him I'm guessing she wont get it.

Utter joke , ok she was conned by Frank but she took great delight in doing Carla down at every turn with snide comments and doing the dirty behind her back with Frank. And now Carla's welcoming her back with open arms and all is forgiven. Get a grip script writers.

Yes, but Carla knows how charming Frank could be and how easy it is to be taken in by him. She sees Sally as another of his victims and doesn't want Frank to score another victory by driving a wedge between them. In fact she would see a friendship and maybe partnership with Sally as getting one over on Frank.

this is quite a legal minefield:

1. did Frank leave a Will - if so to whom?
2. if he left things to Ann - she cant have them, - does it then go to the state?

in real life!!! Sally needs to speak to Franks Executor and offer to buy the shares, but this can only be done after Probabte, which would take 4-5 months?

Coronation Street's Tina McIntyre and Tommy Duckworth finally get together this evening (April 6) as they are honest about their feelings at last.

Tommy (Chris Fountain) is struggling following the death of his grandfather Geoff, but Tina steps in to support him all the way - admitting that she knows what he's going through.

When Tommy is reluctant to pay a visit to grieving Doreen as he can't face it, Tina (Michelle Keegan) encourages him to go - claiming that he'll regret it if he doesn't.

Later, Tina and Tommy receive separate advice from Tyrone and Jason, who point out that the pair are meant to be together. As Tina and Tommy go looking for each other, both are ready to say their piece - and it's not long before they share a kiss…
