Hollyoaks Spoilers week commencing 19th March

Hollyoaks fans can expect fireworks on the day of baby Bobby's christening later this month.

Riley (Rob Norbury) begins to feel guilty over his cold behaviour towards Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) in upcoming episodes, so he suggests that they should all come together and put their differences aside in time for Bobby's big day. He also asks Mercedes to babysit Bobby while he heads out to an awards ceremony.

Mercedes reads too much into Riley's gesture and is given renewed hope of a future with the footballer. However, it seems that she's heading for disappointment as Riley is out with Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton) that night and the pair share a cosy moment - which is captured by a paparazzo!

The next day, incriminating pictures of Riley and Mitzeee appear in the press, which results in all hell breaking loose at the christening.

As Mercedes violently lashes out at Mitzeee, Riley is left to wonder whether he's pushed his ex-fiancée too far…

Monday

Carmel's christening plans are thrown into question when Myra finds out that Mercedes isn't invited and begs Riley to change his mind.

Standing resolute, Riley decides to continue with his game-playing, but when he invites Mercedes over to see Bobby, she gets a lot more than she was expecting.

Meanwhile, Dennis returns from India, but Leanne is concerned when it seems that there's something he's not telling his housemates.

Elsewhere, Barney suffers a terrifying encounter.

Tuesday

Mercedes can't forgive her family for their betrayal and feels more alone than ever.

Later, Riley is nervous as he prepares for the mediation session with Mercedes. However, when Mercedes fails to turn up, Riley worries that he may have pushed her too far.

Meanwhile, Barney is forced to face his attacker.

Elsewhere, Leanne persuades Dennis to tell the truth about his time in India.

Wednesday

Riley feels guilty as he realises what he's done to Mercedes and tries to make amends, saying that he wants the christening to go ahead with them all together as a family.

Mercedes reads too much into this, and her hope is boosted further when Riley asks her to babysit - explaining that he's got an awards ceremony to go to tonight. However, all hope is dashed when Mercedes makes a shocking discovery about what Riley has really been up to.

Meanwhile, Jacqui surprises Rhys when she invites Phoebe to stay the night.

Elsewhere, Dodger's attempts to apologise to Dennis backfire.

Thursday

It's chaos as everyone prepares for Bobby's christening, but the McQueens panic when they realise that Mercedes and Bobby are missing.

Following her discovery from the night before, Mercedes is ready to kill. Later, Mitzeee finds herself at the centre of Mercedes's scorn.

Meanwhile, Dodger struggles to cope working side-by-side with Dennis, but they're both distracted when a mystery woman arrives.

Elsewhere, Jacqui and Rhys are fuming when they realise the cost of their kindness.


Friday

Mercedes confronts Mitzeee and Riley following her discovery.

Riley is worried about what Mercedes will do and is thrown when Mercedes seems to be calm - unaware that a storm is brewing.

Meanwhile, Jacqui vows to make Phoebe pay.

Elsewhere, Leanne finds herself frustrated when she realises that she's no longer the centre of Dennis's affections.

Hollyoaks star Claire Cooper has revealed that her character Jacqui is looking for a "purpose" when she tries to help homeless teenager Phoebe Jackson.

Jacqui takes pity on Phoebe (Mandip Gill) in next week's episodes, offering her a place to stay - despite the concerns of husband Rhys (Andrew Moss).

Phoebe later leaves Jacqui furious by stealing Terry the dog and doing a disappearing act. However, even afterwards, forgiving Jacqui remains keen to get Phoebe's life back on track.

Cooper told All About Soap: "There's something pulling Jacqui there and making her intervene - she can't stop herself.

"Jacqui does thrive off helping people. She's got a husband and a dog, she works in a pub and they just manage to get enough money to pay the rent each month, so Jacqui needs a bit more purpose in her life."

She added: "I hope she'll go to great lengths to help Phoebe and lead her down the right path. Looking after people was instilled in Jacqui from a young age, and here's a vulnerable girl that Jacqui really feels she can help, so she'll try all she can."

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with a first look screening at 7pm on E4.
