Great Soap exits!

I liked Zoe's exit tonight, it was filled with emotion and had me in tears. And of course they played the really slow music before the credits which always adds extra emotion to the scene. It started me thinking about all the other moments they have used that music, there is so many and I think i've cried at most of them.

There was Kathy's departure to South Africa, Phil looking out of the window at the airport as she was boarding the plane with Ben. Cindy leaving to France, the music came on as we saw them going off on the train.

Steve and Mel Owen's exits were fantastic and gripping

Kat and Andy's none show wedding had the same music at the end I remember

Janine's exit definitely deserved the slow music! She was such a good actress!

It would have taken the dramatic effect away though especially as her character hadn't reached the stage where she would be gone for a while if not forever.

I also enjoyed Ethel's death and thought it was very emotional. They used an old 1940's song at the end then and got rid of the usual credits map.

Yeh i think that was probably one of the best episodes and ending so far.

Yeah Zoe Slater's Exit Yesterday Was Absolutely Great,I Even Caught Myself Crying At The End,Not Because Is I Am Really Sad That Zoe Slater Left Ofcourse,But Because There Was Soooooooo Much Drama!!!!!
This Week Of EastEndeRs Was Absolutely Great!!!!!
Other Great Exits Were For Example,Vicki And Sharon Watts At Christmas 2004,And Paul Trueman On The 23TH December 2004!!!!!
EastEndeRs Is Back Where It Belongs,It Is Back On Top,HaHa,LOL!!!!!

Janine's Exit was good! I really enjoyed that. I thought Paul's was a it of an anti climax for me I was expecting something a little bit more than him just driving away. It seemed a waste of such a brilliant character but then with all the dodgy dealing they sort of ruined Paul's character anyway.

I don't think there was ever a spoiler about it, they kept it very quiet. I just guessed that it was about time Marcus got something out of it! It was getitng a little obvious towards the end.

if you notice nearly everytime a main character leaves the show they play the music with the exception of den death which was just the usual dum dums and kat and andy non-wedding i cant remember any others but it mainly ends with that music (or something like it) when a character leaves

Tiffanys exit was my most memorable one, and Jamie's ill always remember that one as it was my nans last crimbo before she left us and i remember sitting at my aunties with her watching it, had me in tears

PS I know they werent great exits but they were in a way

I know, it would be good if there more of these little secret storylines that noone knows about before they happen. It would keep the viewers interested more because they don't feel as if they know exactly what is going to happen in each episode!!
