Meanwhile, Hollyoaks' Mercedes McQueen is at the centre of trouble in upcoming episodes as her behaviour continues to spiral out of control.

Myra and the other McQueens become concerned for Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) later this month as she seems to be depressed in the aftermath of the recent turmoil in her life.

Wanting to help, the family drag Mercedes out to a party at Chez Chez - but they get more than they bargained for when the man-eater sets her sights on newcomer Ally (Dan O'Connor) and makes a move on him!

In the days that follow, Mercedes's wild antics get worse, prompting Jacqui to realise that the family have to do something about it - and soon!

MERCEDES Fisher faces the wrath of her family when her selfish behaviour starts to affect them.

The troubled babe has sunk into despair following her failed wedding to footballer Riley Costello.

And she takes it out on her sisters Jacqui, Carmel and Michaela and cousin Theresa.

Things get nasty when they confront her and Mercedes lets rip – *prompting the usually sympathetic Carmel to tell her a few home truths.

An insider said: “Mercedes is going to sink even lower and will do something to one of her sisters she may never be able to put right.”

Hollyoaks' troubled teenager George Smith faces fresh struggles next week as he begins to question his place with the Kane clan.

George (Steven Roberts) recently moved in with fellow sixth former Callum (Laurie Duncan) and his family after life on the streets became too dangerous to handle.

However, George doesn't want to intrude on the Kanes and his fear that he's outstaying his welcome grows when Callum's mum suddenly announces plans to move house.

Amid the chaos of the move, things become more complicated when Callum's older sister Ash (Holly Weston) finds out the truth about why George is staying with the family.

Just as George is wondering whether Ash will keep quiet, there's yet another obstacle when Callum's younger sibling Lacey moves back in with her mum following some time away.

Played by new cast member Georgia Burke, Lacey is rarely short of something to say - and her arrival presents George with another member of the family to impress.

Will Ash keep George's secret? And with George around, will it be happy families at the Kane household?
