According to DS jim carver who use to be in the bill will be making an apperance this summer as mickey and dawn millers father :angel:

Former Bill actor Mark Wingett is to make an appearance in EastEnders this summer.

Wingett first appeared as DC Jim Carver in the ITV cop drama back in August 1983 and left in February this year with no plans for him to return.

He is now embarking on a new role in Walford, playing the father of Mickey Miller (Joe Swash).

An insider told DS: "Mickey is going to France to see his sister and gets more than he bargained for when he bumps into his long-lost father, whom he hasn't seen for years."

They added: "It's fantastic to have Mark on board."

A spokeswoman said: "EastEnders can confirm that Mark will be making an appearance this summer playing the role of Mickey's dad."

i love jim carver!!!!!

and a few foriegn epsiodes...about time!!!!!

pity he isnt a permanant member...he could have ran off with rosie and left stupid keith on his own

he'd have been able to have seem old pal billy murray (jonny) but ah well maybe if hes a hit he may return...

it was that eastenders stars were going to the bill but i think thats being reversed now :D

Mickey heads off on a booze cruise to France with Garry,Minty and Gus, intending to stock up on drink for his mum's 40th birthday. However, Mickey also uses the trip to call on his long lost sister Dawn, and she introduces him to their father.
