Knowing Chris could be in danger, Rhys searches frantically for him. When he finally finds Chris at the garage, it could already be too late. Forced to perform emergency surgery, Rhys improvises to get Chris breathing again before the ambulance arrives but he’s not out of the woods yet. Karl warns Rhys he could end up being held accountable if Chris doesn't pull through.
When confronted by a furious Lucas, Toadie struggles to believe Peter would be behind Chris’s attack. However when the police ask Toadie to help with their enquiries, he’s shocked to realise the full extent of Peter’s scheme. Toadie’s interviewed but doesn’t have many answers for the strong case mounting against him. Unable to prove his innocence, could Toadie end up being charged with Chris’s assault?
Tuesday, January 10 - Episode 6312
Determined to clear his name, Toadie discovers that one of the forged emails used by Peter to frame him was sent while he was in a meeting with Paul. Despite the potential alibi, Toadie fears that, if Paul learns about the corruption, he’ll blow it in the papers. Left with little choice, Toadie takes the risk and asks for Paul’s help and when Peter’s called in for questioning it appears to have been a wise move. However Toadie’s taken aback when he learns Peter’s now claiming he knew what Toadie was up to but didn’t stop him. Toadie vehemently denies any such thing but when Superintendent Hayes discovers evidence linking Toadie to Chris’s bashing in his car, Toadie realises he’s been well and truly set-up.
Resentful of Susan calling an end to their marriage, Karl fights for Summer to stay with him when Susan assumes she’ll move out with her. Karl insists he’s only thinking of Summer’s wellbeing but Susan can see through this, knowing it’s about them. Eventually they leave the choice up to Summer, who chooses to stay at the Kennedy House. Susan’s privately disappointed but, despite this win, Karl feels no better.
Wednesday, January 11 - Episode 6313
With his efforts to save Chris garnering him hero status among the public, Rhys hits on the idea of leveraging it to win a place on the surgery program. He fronts Doctor Jessica Girdwood and boldly states that his skills and calmness in a crisis ideally qualify him – she should reconsider letting him join the surgery program but will his direct approach pay off?
Desperate to help Toadie, Susan goes to Paul for assistance. Paul agrees to investigate Peter Noonan and his findings – and the subsequent article in the Erinsborough News – are enough to convince the Council to sever ties with the development. The shopping centre development is off but with his aims met, Paul’s disinterested in fighting to save Toadie. As far as he’s concerned, Toadie’s on his own.
Although Kyle assumes he and Jade are in a relationship, she reacts with horror when the ‘R’ word is mentioned. Kyle begins to wonder what the problem is.
Thursday, January 12 - Episode 6314
When Michael struggles with the paper work involved in preparing for the new school year as principal, Emilia reminds him of the free-spirited, inspiring teacher he used to be. Michael needs to get away from the stifling paperwork so he convinces Emilia to come surfing with him, but instead he ends up giving her a lesson on the front lawn. During the lesson they get a lot closer than either of them expected. Will Michael’s rekindled feelings come between Emilia and Lucas?
Rhys launches a devious plan to get one of the surgical trainees to drop out so he can take their place but when the plan backfires, Rhys is forced to promise Karl he won’t try it again but can he be trusted to keep his word?
Lucas is invited to visit Dan and Adam in Sydney but plagued with guilt about the assault on Chris, he is reluctant to leave him. Emilia encourages Lucas to discuss it with Chris, who gives his blessing. So Lucas invites Emilia to come with him.

Jade tries to compromise for Kyle but struggles, eventually cracking. Despite this, Kyle remains confident that one day soon Jade will want him to look after her, and that day isn’t far away, when Jade injures her foot and is told not to move for a week she’s forced to face her worst nightmare: relying on someone else.
Michael does his best to ignore his feelings for Emilia, putting an end to her helping out at the Williams House. However, when Michael realises no-one knows him like Emilia, he gives in to temptation and invites her to join him for a surf again. With her own feelings for Michael starting to be rekindled, Emilia agrees. Is this the beginning of something?
Frustrated he’ll never pay back Paul with shifts at Lassiters, Andrew decides to re-start Robinson Entertainment, hoping to make some quick cash. Andrew looks for an event to throw and Sophie suggests a gig with her favourite band. Andrew dismisses the idea but when he realises its genuine potential, changes his mind and prepares to put on an all-ages gig.
