Just looked on Viewingfigures.com

These are early so could change.

Apparently Emmerdale - 8,836.52 max viewers
Eastenders - 6,199.45

What I want to know do they take into account all the people who light have taped one of the soaps.

I am really loving Emmerdale at the moment especially the Dingles dressed as Leprachauns .......priceless but I must admit I enjoyed eastenders the most last night maybe it was the anticipation of Jake and Chrissie getting it on, am liking Billys character more now and the partnership between Minty and Garry gets funnier by the episode ..............x

Have to agree with you there. For a change both Emmerdale and EE are quite good. I watched Emmerdale last night and videoed EE. Not sure if i'll get a chance to see it before tonights one.
viewing figures don't take into account people who watch a program on terrestrial for the first showing and then watch again on freeview later, theres also omnibuses that i'm not sure how they take those into account.

BARB will take into account the people who videoed it and later watched it.
There will also be listings for Sundays omnibus episode.
