The sun worshipping Housemates hit the garden within minutes of waking when Big Brother ordered them to vacate the main body of the House.
Sandwiches, water, sun cream and a reminder about safe sunning have been supplied as a perfect day of sun bathing stretches out before the Housemates with temperatures set to soar to 28 degrees celsius.
Of course there are plenty of shady corners and the loft for the Housemates to shelter in, and we're sure Maxwell will be trying to entice Saskia into a dark corner very soon.
In a scene reminiscent of school trip, the Housemates queued up to take their white paper bags of food, crisps, and fizzy drinks. And, like naughty kids, they tucked into their crisps almost immediately, unable to wait until lunchtime like good children.
But even the lovely weather couldn't cheer some people up. "I wish I had a book," Derek moaned, perhaps envisaging an ideal day reclining in the sun with Michael Howard's autobiography.
