Neighbours star Christopher Milligan has confirmed that fans will be introduced to more members of Kyle Canning's family in 2012.
Kyle's cousin Dane, played by Luke Pegler, is currently appearing on screen in both Australia and the UK after show bosses brought in the character in a last-minute storyline change.
Pegler has already finished filming with the soap, but more of Kyle's relatives will feature in future storylines.
Discussing what is coming up for Kyle next year, Milligan told Channel 5: "Well, some new members of his family come to stay, and there's more drama with Jade, but there are some good times as well."
Asked to name his favourite plot from 2011, the actor replied: "The share house stuff has been great fun!"
Dane was brought into Neighbours to cover Kyle's storylines after Milligan took time off due to an injury.
Neighbours bosses announced that Kyle had been promoted to a regular character earlier this year.
