Hiya
I've just got an Mp3 Player so obviously i would like to put some music on it. So i've copied my CD's onto my WMP and then clicked on copy to Device.
Then this is were it all goes wrong when i click on this it just takes me to a website to buy MP3 players. Does anyone know How I can solve this problem?
Thanks
Luna
What program do you use to like transfer the files?
Window Media Player I copied my cd's to that if that's what you are meaning i'm not very good at this stuff
right yeh what ya need to do is coyp the cds and then go into libaray and find the cd you just copied then right click on the album/song you want, then go donw to add to, then click sync list, carry on then when you have added all the songs you want you just click start sync at the bottom, hope this helps
PLease tell me if it don't or if ya have any more problems?!

Hi there it doesn't give me the option of sync it seem to stay on copy to cd and wont let me copy to device it's as if it's no recognising that i have one plugged in but i've checked on the tools and devices and it's deffinately there. If i click on the copy to device it just takes me back to that website.
it's WMP 9 and im using ME if that makes any difference
Don't then sorry, just make sure its plugged in, sorry!
Yeah it is it tells you on the player
I thought mp3 players would only play mp3s and not cda tracks from a CD but obviously if you've copied the songs to your pc and they work then they will be mp3s but can you just check that they are by right clicking on them and clicking properties? A bit of a long shot I know :)
I download stuff and add it to my mp3 player so I never have this problem.
Im wondering if it is actually the player??
Maybe, try going to their manufacturers website (if they have one) and seeing if there's any instructions there.
Lunalee you need WMP10. I had the same problem
xxx
aaaahhh....dont you need XP for that?
It does only work on xp. Does anyone know any programes i can do this on ME?
I thought WMP10 worked on other versions of Windows?
Nah once you've downloaded it it say that you need xp
Ok, I didn't know that :)
When you plugin your MP3 player, in my computer does it show it as a new device? If so, just drag your MP3 files onto the player.
Thanks GR will give it a try
Yeah me too. I'll let you know
I don't even know why I have an MP3 player, I could just use my CD Walkman. I have a ton of CD's lying around.
I have all my music collection on my IPod. All my CD's are archived. Time to ebay them I think
i want an ipod but they cost too much
I paid £450 for my 10gig IPod when they first came out :(
