Neighbours student Summer Hoyland is in for a shock when headteacher Michael Williams collapses after catching her cheating on an exam, reports have revealed.

Summer resorts to desperate measures in an upcoming storyline by using specially-prepared study notes on her mobile phone to help her as she takes an important test. She hopes that her scheme will help her to get into journalism school.

Michael (Sandy Winton) soon catches Summer in the act, but a twist sees the stressed-out teacher pass out in the heat of the moment as he confronts her.

The incident comes after Michael's daughter Tash (Valentina Novakovic) has finally discovered the true story behind the mysterious death of her mother, leaving Michael in turmoil.

Jordy Lucas, who plays Summer, told TV Week of the storyline: "She's just a perfectionist and she wants so badly to get into the course.

"She knows Michael's been going through a lot of stress with Tash finding out about her mum's death, but at that moment, Summer feels like, 'I'm the straw that broke the camel's back'."

When Summer calls an ambulance and Michael is rushed to hospital, she is left to wonder whether she will face punishment for her cheating.

Lucas added: "Summer feels like she has stuffed up Year 12."

Neighbours airs these scenes next week on Eleven in Australia and later in the winter on Channel 5 in the UK.
